On a slightly off topic but nicotine related.
I was a pretty heavy smoker a few years ago & must admit I love the effects of nicotine.
Such an insidious substance....
I even partook in patch clinical trials. lasted very briefly....I got paid for it though so that was worth it....
So i tried nicotine gum
But.......
Although Im now addicted to nicotine gum.
although I do have the occasional rollie thing....But dont feel like I need to smoke anything regularly...
got to say in gums benefit - its heaps cheaper, my wife might kiss me once in a while! as i dont smell like an ashtray, I can chew it wherever, Still get the nicotine effects, & its minty. Dont have fingers that are kinda yellow, My teeth are cleaner etc etc ...& the major one my lungs are heaps cleaner!! Feel heaps better for it
Must say its a way better health option if ya still love nicotine....
Non benefits - Im still addicted to nicotine.... Not sure how ill get rid of that one though.

I think heavy machinery should be involved next time,,
the front end loader vs the forklift in a coin flipping comp.
Ya got time to practice incog!
Winner takes on the Manitou... but it wont flip coins!~

Lovely meeting ya's all & catching up!
Thanks,
Don't be strangers now!
That was fun.
Safe home ward journeys if ya ever get past the pile of nangs....
Now Sunday recovery consists of more fruits of the forest....

Depends which part of the Jamison you want?
Furber, Golden Or Giant stairs will all take you that way.
If your going up Solitary to say Chinamans cave etc i wouldnt rely on water being available up there.
People shit in that creek system way to much
BTW its frekin cold at night at the moment up here!
Or are ya heading past Ruined Castle where that English backpacker supposedly got lost for 2 weeks??
There would be better, cleaner water out there.
There is also a small camping cave that was set up a few years ago under Boars head.
Water close by, ocx abseiling group might wander past.easy access to town, possible reception.
The guy who set it up has since vanished. He used to carry a fuckin big knife! I guess it was to protect himself from the Panther or something equally as mysterious...
Or Narrow neck? camping caves a plenty, some kinda set up from others who have done similiar to you.
water is obtainable, great views, easy access to town etc.
If ya want more detailed info Im happy to pass some onto you!!
If I was you I would start lower down the mtns where its 6 degrees warmer & see if your gear is up to it....
Say Springwood area where its close to town etc

& another case! More info tomorrow supposedly. Not sure how to link it...
What's with canberrians & mushrooms?
Maybe myco identification needs to be a school topic, a prerequisite for housing in the ACT or just chop down all the oak trees;)

Going to make it at this point of time Prioritise!
Be good to catch up!!

Just a heads up for you happy campers:
That forest is about to come alive ;)
Your timing should be spot on...
I drove past today & picked a few Milk Saffrons & slippery Jacks.
Millions of aminitas growing
but the surprise was something growing close to the G Spot. (wherever that is??) that elusive spot we all spend so much time trying to find!
No Idea how they came to be there....
Look a little wavy to me.....
I left them alone but took a couple of photos..
The forest is full of people picking saffies etc & after speaking to a family they have picked about 6kg today...
Pity to see how much rubbish they leave though... plastic gloves & cakes.
Beautiful young pine mushrooms....
Some spots need a decent hit of colder weather but the forest is looking good....
Enjoy your camping ventures ;)

I'm keen, but early may is just that!!
Better ya all out of the forest early may! It gives it time to do its thing ;)

The Dilly ain't too bad, no mob reception though & potentially a whiles from town. Also a bit of farm chem run off. Lottsa carp though! You'd need milk for those fuckers if your going to eat them!
As far as those kinda crops they were def out there! Some guys from school I went to found a massive one on a school wilderness bushwalk!
You might come across a bunch of tents & sleeping bags that were left behind at that spot ;) mind that was 20yrs ago....

Mate, if u want blue Mtns advice pm me.
People have been living under rock shelters near me for years!
Close to town etc etc
Do not drink the cox's river water or the grose river water!
They are both full of nasty shite!! Heavy metal poisons in both. I can't find the reference at the moment but don't do it!
It all ends up in Warragamba where Sydney gets their water from. I guess it's more diluted there! ;)
Now the wollangambe or bungleborri are mighty nice rivers! Also kanangra area.
Big trout out kanangra way & I mean big.
But limited mobile reception!

Agaricus bisporus anyone? Or something similar?
Any other agaricus esp suited to a humid / warm climate???
Looking for a plate as a gift to an old & very good friend who has expressed an interest as he can't find in his area & don't have the time to make one!
Have a few things to trade. I kinda need this quickly though.....
Thanks

The more I read the more confused I get!
2 diff plants showing similiar traits.
Supposedly seed grown from a shamans gift 20 or so years ago
. Marked as M1 when I got them.
Also I am more confused on the cultivar Roseii.
I think Roseii 1 has short spines & 2 has longer spines.
But again I am getting more confused....
sorry the pics are sideways....
