Tumut could work! But quieter than the coast, There's dams, not many people - isolated but not far off the highway thing. lots & lots kangaroos, some nice bush walks,some pretty good trout fishing - maybe even salmon or some other fish. & if your so inspired you could go to an apple orchard & maybe get some cider & then look around a dam wall. If it's a drought ya might even see old stuff in the lake..... & it's almost half way to somewhere....& an easy drive from both directions.... There's also coolamon caves / plains in that area which are kinda cool cave like cave things. Been a while since I was there.

Looking like I might come along too! I wont be able to bring any nice plants or such as flying is a bitch! I can bring some beers though to pay back the ones I drank last year! Maybe check out Mesq's stuff too....It's pretty damn good! Back when I was a lad there was only a couple of true music genre things. Actually there were way too many genres then...come to think of it.... Music - Its either likeable or its not! lets not be racist to music as well! ;) They called it techno & it was played at something called a rave! It was simple back then... You had to go to a shop & swap a chicken egg for an address... They were a tad weird in wales in the early 90s! but hey that was the spiral tribe era... The speakers always seemed to be facing away from the party - maybe thats how & why we could all still chat....If we called it that ; but then you had to dial a 0055 number in australia or some random number you got given by some random person...Who the fuck had 20 cent for a phone call....Glad Telecom phones could be giggled / jiggled with a stick on a piece of string...r you acted like a telecom worker making a check on the payphone (So wish I remembered that number now) Then all you needed was money for petrol......& to find someone with the ability & willingness to drive to somewhere that some bloke killed & buried 7 or more backpackers..... Ah .. the good old days! It was just techno music & stuff back then.... Then it got complicated ;) Sorry for my reminiscing rant Mtn Goat - ah the good ole days before too many Genres..... But great thread - I just came across a heap of music ive never heard before.....& really like.

Meant to say check out the Psyfari line up on Facebook, then find the genre of your choice & go Soundcloud that shite... Most of them are local Australian music so supporting good causes! Some for most of the parties happening in NSW... Its a reasonable starting point to find some good AU producers There are some pretty up & coming stuff being produced!

If ya all like Psy there's some awesome parties happening throughout the year. Not so much Goa stuff but def inklings of it... Check out Psyfari festival in late August in a beautiful Valley just past the Blue Mtns. Great visuals, great vibe, great music & such a nice location.... There's even some goa psy in the genre line up - but I find there are too many genres these days....dark, cronk, glunk,pro psy, early morning psy, midday psy.... its kinda all psy at the end of the night or day.... Just my opinion..... The DJ is either good, awesome or shite or somewhere inbetween !! ;) but the setting & people is where its at..... I do help out with some stuff on this party but just saying its a nice weekend away !! ;) Ya all should come! & it aint all psy - there is even acoustic sets & all manner of things. There's a bunch of crews putting on good parties this year!!
