Going to have a few spare 100ml bottles of tincture if any one is keen to trade or buy.(cheap- got to cover costs though). The tincture is made with medicinal/ food grade ethanol. Seem easy to grow on logs this one. Take to dowels pretty well & the couple of logs I started are just bearing fruit. Been 2 months since innoculated, temps are mid teens day to low at night.... Presently coming up on liquid amber (sweetgum) & native young figs. Have to check but might still have some dowels about.

Got a few hops runners that need a home! From an old vine - produces well- from Bulgaria originally so I have been lead to believe. Never tested the contents but it's a nice vine & could be s nice addition for home brew making. If you want & can cover postage by sending a couple of seeds then it's yours! Have enough for 5 or so people...

Also agree with omsource The ones found near us have been habituating the same trees for at least 10 years with no apparent detriment to the trees health, although the tree appears to have survived bushfires before....one in particular any way.... From somewhere I remember they said the spore amount is pretty high so it's not recommended to cultivate. Can't recall the source at the moment.. I am sure there are much more aggressive species that are cultivated that cause rot. Reishi's are a beautiful addition to ones life for the health benefits, but pick them wild with respect....also Tinctures or capsules are the way to go. Saying that I haven't been able to confirm that wild grown in Aust have the same composition but it's well worth comparing...any one know of a comparitive study comparing G. Appalautum, G. lucidium or resinsceous ( spelling might be wrong) ??

Yep. It's a great herb. I make a tincture or capsules. Best taken for a month or so. Haven't read that article yet but it's of great benefit. Varied uses from altitude to longevity. Great for just making you healthier over time... Pm me if you want. I might have some soon for sale....

I have a few logs growing with different edibles (reishi, shiitake, oyster) The oysters are starting to fruit, the others not far off, they have onleybeen doweled for a couple of months.... & also a couple of patches of woodchips starting to run (with edibles of course) but am currently having a problem with native slugs (the ones with triangles) & those other shite fat speckled slugs. I hate slugs!! They got into a couple of blocks of oyster & just destroy them, besides being slimey blahs. Does any one know about the NASAA organic approved snail repellant stuff that you can get fro Bunnings if it would be detrimental to my outcomes?? The multiguard contains 60g/kg iron EDTA complex which is safe for my kids, dogs possums etc, but not sure what this is entirely but what would it do to my mushrooms?? It seems to break down pretty quick but ends up with some type of fungal growth that I cant identify. So whats the best way besides growing in a controlled environment (ie indoors)??

For those of you close by state forest It's definitely worth a drive. So many edibles, buckets of slippery jax & saffies,un-I'd species & SUBS.... You could almost lean out of your car & pick em up!! We only picked the edibles though. Some areas better than others. If you go be please be considerate of others & take what you need & tap those spores...

Extracts.That's the only words one needs to know. 1 in 2 . There's a couple of other numbers but you should be able to work it out .,,,. Kava used to be available as a herbal tincture. Was made by certain companies. It is definitely what it is claimed to be in regards to what it is claimed to be. Depending how it's stored it shouldn't lose to much viabilty over a year or 2. The reason it became schelded was more to do with poly drug use & associated health probs not just kava.

Just got Dumbo special edition from the library for my kids to watch. Seems to get stuck & repeats on chapter 13. Pink elephants on parade. Well worth watching! But after 4 repeats you could feel like your stuck in neverland. I want some of that...... I would like to see a pachyderm. I also like studying germs.... Go 'walt disney' Not sure who hired it before me....but it got stuck on repeat for that chapter. So leads to my question of those with kids or even those that dont what is the most visual movie that takes your fancy? There must be a stack out there, that have been made under some influence of something.... Whats Something to watch on a nice quiet evening?? Prob been discussed before but am too busy to look as got to keep watching these dvds.....

Dont bother reading into the word 'transparent 'either Was originally asking with my kids in mind, who are pretty young, but always good to know of some movies that we can watch when they aint about. I now have a heap of things to watch with & without my girls.
