    Passionflower contains small amounts of harmine/harmaline does it not? :) Who knows.. to be honest if it's sold freely on Ebay through a trusted organic herb retailer then I'm not too fussed.

    Kinda makes ya wonder why they sell 15% L-Dopa Mucuna extract capsules on Ebay within Aus too.. surely that'd have some higher levels of alkaloids. :scratchhead:

    Unfortunety herbalistics will not send live plants/seeds to WA! :( Thats ok though I am more than happy to purchase the 10g of Glaucium research material through that site. Looks like it will be the quickest and easiest option to obtain some herb to study! :)

    If you get your plants up and running I would be more than happy to do a trade with you, to get some seeds or more herbage for study.

    Hey all I have for sale/trade 100g Mucuna Pruriens seed powder that I am willing to part with for $15 + $5 postage or trade for a couple microscopy spore prints, edible grain spawn or slants. Or just a mix of various seeds/cuttings. Would even go for several psychotria viridis leaves/cuttings or any glaucium flavum herb/seeds.

    If it's a decent trade I will throw in [edited] :)

    Hey guys I am just after any seed or herbage (for research) that anyone may have of this intriguing plant! Would certainly love to grow it myself otherwise I think my only option is herbalistics to get some dried herb for research. Also after a Loph Graft too if anyone can help me out! :)

    Hey guys, just doing some research on Lobelia Inflata and found that most cultivars like the Erinus and Cardinalis are all from the one parent plant.. Inflata. I have just recently discovered an abundance of what looks to be L. Erinus in my step mums garden and am planning to hack up atleast 1oz worth of the herb to dry out and try, as I'm looking for something to substitute Tobacco. Just until my Rustica and Tabacum have reached maturity! :)

    Also.. any thoughts or experiences with smoking N. Rustica? You hear all the hype about it being 20X stronger than your standard Tabacum but I would say more like 6 - 9x stronger sounds a bit more believable. I am a heavy smoker anyhow so I don't mind a bit of a headspin if it means I get free Tobacco. Let me know if anyone else has had experiences with Rustica.

    I was reading last night that Lobeline has been reported to inhibit the uptake of Dopamine and may possibly be used therapeutically to treat psychostimulant abuse (which I was a victim of). Found myself in hospital with heart spasms/palpitations just from half a cup of coffee, but that's after going through basically 80% of amph/mdma substitute compounds. It has really made me quite "wired" all the time, very alert, rather snappy and impatient too. I never used to be like this.. which is why it scares me. The docs have me on a mood-stabiliser called Risperidone which I believe has made things so much worse, but I am yet to convince docs to take me off the shit.. which will no doubt involve using benzo's to bring me down off the stabilisers.

    So yeah any info would be great guys!! Very keen to get involved with Lobelia's if they are effective. I've also read about the anti-asthmatic properties which would be a massive help to me as I'm currently smoking the nimbus mix (blue/white lotus and damiana) and that just seems to give me a tight chest and heavy cough, most probabaly due to the oils in damiana. I am quite keen to make a mix of Lobelia/Leonotis and then make a blue/white lotus extract to soak the mix in with. Maybe even a lions tail extract? Anyone ever played around with lions tail to make an extract?

    I kind of wish I'd taken several prints from my 1st white oyster flush.. the bugger doesnt seem too happy about letting a 2nd or 3rd flush happen! The weather has really picked up over here in WA and is usually rather dry.. although they're in my bathroom, they still require a decent air flow and it just seems to be drying the bags out. Even with 3 mistings a day!

    If anyone can assist me to get a 2nd flush happening I'd be glad to compensate them with a couple prints! I see plenty of pinheads forming away from the slits that the first flush came out of.. would cutting a new couple of slits near these pinheads be a better option that just hoping that they'll pop out of the first slits I made? I may tape up the old slits with micropore and make a new slit on each side of the bag for the 2nd flush.

    Any info would be great!

    Im interested to see how many people have grown this rather plain looking strappy plant. I wonder if it would even be within AUS if it is known to catch a funky fungal disease.. :lol:

    It'd be interesting to know the % of active alkaloids one plant produces.

    Hey guys, just after any spare Leonotis Nepetifolia/Leonorus seeds that any of you kind folk are willing to spare! :) I had a range of 30+ varieties of seeds until my cold hearted ex thought she'd put a knife in me back by throwing out something I had a high interest in. I still have a slight hope lingering in me that they will pop up somewhere in the house. lol

    any help would be greatly appreciated! I still have a few trades to catch up on, so will be good to start getting up to date and trading once again! I'm working on some White Oyster mycelium that I will no doubt place some segments onto agar then either trading as they are in the dish or making spawn bags for trade/sale.

    well i have it in the vege compartment of my new fridge which has humidity control which is just a vent with more slits on one side than the other.. so I have it more towards the humid side of things, but I keep thinking to leave it less humid in the vege compartment as that would create condensation wouldnt it? having the humidty higher....either way they are still looking fine and I am getting my hands on some phase 3 substrate this thursday, before its spawned.

    The few tests I have done here at home just in fruiting chambers without alot of humidity and 2 out of 3 got trich within a few days and the only one that seems to be showing signs of healthy standard white mycelium is the one where i have the humidity up a little and a jar of about 10:1 peroxide and water with a little air bubbler. so yeah thats definitely something ill keep in mind, use one container inside a larger one so i can fit a little air bubbler and peroxide in there. :)

    ALSO! what are pplz thoughts on contam'd substrate?? A friend of mine had trich problems when growing portabellos and just used to throw his contam'd substrate out under some mulch and water. I know ive read that somewhere with the PF TEK, Fanaticus actually explained if a cake is contam'd with your standard trich green mould, that if it still grew mushrooms they would have to fight for nutrients but are still fine as they will only grow off the good myc.

    hey guys I was lucky to receive a HEAP of mushroom compost yesterday from a White and Portabello mushy farm.. which I plan to use as substrate as the guy tells me its already pre-pasteurized as its been used. and he also snuck me a HUGE 3kg bag of standard white spawn. Which just has DELTA 12345 written on it... not those exact numbers though.

    I am just wondering on the life span of these guys as i have used a little.. which went a LONG way and I have them sealed back in my brand new fridge! :)

    Does anybody know how long these guys will stay like that? Or because I am them cold the mycelium will just stay dormant? until spawned and brought upto humidity?

    Google is NOT helping me out at all today!

    stevia is at any local bunnings my friend... sorry if this has been already said but I really cbf scrolling up at 5am. lol

    **Edit - if your near the Port Kennedy, Warnbro area there is a private garden shop round the corner from bunnings and they will definitely have it.

    I HAD some gawjus catha seeds from you planthelper... until my ex fiance decided they were "drugs" and threw them out.. :( I am sloooowly gettng my collection again haha... with N. Rustica and N. Tabacum so far...

    Any spare seeds you might have would be greatly appreciated dude! :)

    ** Mud yes its home made mate, I fluked it to be honest but by JESUS does it give you a good nights/day sleep haha. Cant reveal the "secret" but haha its all over google, different ways.. I prefered the alcohol bath over several days then so on and so forth.. using 1kg of mixed damiana/blue lotus flower and .. yeah hahah, see if you like and well talk further about recipes.

    Hey guys my collection has for some STUPID reason been thrown out by my "sharp as a knife" ex partner and her f**k-knuckle mother. All I have left is some N. Rustica and some other unknown seed as the label has been rubbed off! :(

    Willing to swap for some prints, only if your into microscopy ofcourse! :lol:

    Ebay dude, type in mushroom kit or agar kit and it will come up with a dude selling 20 sterile plates with micropore tape and enough powder to make 600ml and fill them all. I just ordered some, costs roughly $37 all up inc. Express post. :)
