Ive fucked up and apologized many times, including a few on this forum. From what i can see Matt ripped off the free trade thread and called a number of members here liars. Pardon me for not getting on my pedestal of holy forgiveness instructing everyone to follow the good book and blindly forgive because its good for my own mental well-being. Once again, i think its far easier to play the good guy, like you have cube than ask a few questions. If you have any further patronizing comments for me, they might be best in a PM.

122 out of 570. Those odds are much higher than the interwebs normally indicate. I had been led to believe that dogs were accurate closer to 10% of the time. However this was a festival. I could certainly sniff out more then 122 at any given train station during a BDO

From what ive seen. A 3y.o seedling is very different from a cutting. I think a better comparison would a 50 Y.o seedling vs a cutting. I assume they would be more or less the same by that point. Also, very interested to see what the clever folk have to say on this subject.

I think i had my first cactus at age 6. It lived on the window still in the kitchen. Pretty sure thats dead now. My first trichos are all still alive though

The area im looking to cover is about 3x4m. As there plants under it i was thinking about 50% shade cloth.

Nice nooby guide. Im sure many will get benefit from this. Terracotta is too expensive for me and i use perlite at 20-30% in my cactus mix so i dont have water problems. The pebbles as top dressing are a great idea esp if you live somewhere ultra dry like the west coast. Ive been using less and less "potting mix" in my cactus mix. If i have enough course sand i use peat (coco coir), sand and perlite with a handful or 2 of potting mix.
