    Free slants.

Awesome! I'll take hericium erinaceus, grifola frondosa and cordyceps miltaris if they're still available. I'll send you a private message to confirm.
  3. Thanks, man. So I've still got plenty of time to build up my ethno garden before I have to get rid of it =P
  4. Could anyone tell me when this ban would likely take effect if it were to happen? SWIM might want to order lots of things from SAB if it's going to happen soon.
  5. Sounds good. I should get Soulseek up and running on my Mac if I can find a decent Mac client. It makes it easy to trade stuff, especially if you haven't got access to private trackers etc. I've got a heap of documentaries and movies and am always looking out for more.

    Price of Pure Bred Rottweiler

Hey, Does anyone know how much a pure bred rottweiler would cost? I tried to find prices on the internet but the Australian breeders that I found do not list prices.

    Price of Pure Bred Rottweiler

Yeah, I'm still looking. Any info would be much appreciated. I don't mind if a dog causes a bit of wear and tear. They tend to grow out of it provided you don't let them get bored. I have plenty of parks in my area and the river is a short walk away too. What do you guys think of pet insurance?
  8. Hey guys I have some acacia maidenii seeds, however, I am unsure if I need to do anything special to them to help them germinate. I know some Australian natives do well after a bush fire. Also, is it worth planting them at this time of year in Perth or is it bad timing? It has been unusually warm this Summer and Autumn though. Please excuse any spelling or syntax errors as I have a migraine which inhibits my language abilities during an episode = /

    Pressure cookers

Dude, just get yourself an All American 921 for gas stoves and save AT LEAST $400. Amazon has them cheaper than anywhere else and their shipping price is better too. Furthermore, gas is cheap if you are connected to a mains gas supply. You don't need to keep your eye on them every second that they're in use. I just check on mine occasionally when it's in use. After using it a couple of times you learn the sweet spot for the gas setting and the temperature/pressure stays where you want it too.

What is that god damn movie???

I don't know that movie but here are some cool German movies that I've watched. Das Experiment Run Lola Run (aka Lola Rennt) Anatomie The Lives of others (Das Leben der Anderen) Good Bye Lenin The Edukators (Die Fetten Jahre sind Vorbei). Killer Condom (Kondom des Grauens). This one is so bad that it's hilarious. The Baader Meinhoff Complex

    Amazon Kindles

Check out invisibleSHIELD, Apple iPad Clear Matte TFT Screen Skin Cover Protector or BodyGuardz for iPad screen protectors. I'm sure there are more too. Check www.whirlpool.net.au for technology related stuff. There are always good threads on there. The CEOs of companies even get on there to give information or smack down stupid customers.

But a tablet PC can do so much more and you can just buy one of those anti glare covers.

Where to get shiitake logs (Perth)?

You can use other hardwood such as eucalyptus, sweetgum, poplar, cottonwood, alder, ironwood, beech, birch and willow. This place might be able to help you. I am not sure if they have any logs but you could ask or maybe they could refer you to another place. You can also buy bagged products of hardwood shavings etc which you can use in jars and mycobags http://wajking.com.au/products.htm Hazelmere Garden Centre also has trailers, bags and truckloads truckloads of various soils, mulches and woodchips etc to choose from and they might have other stuff that's useful. Give them a call. I get my riversand from there for my cacti. I remember looking at a council website recently too and you could buy left over biomass from them from tree chopping etc. I can't remember which one it was exactly but it could've been Bayswater. However, I am sure many councils would do it in order to make money and there's no harm in ringing a few of your local councils.

You notice how on the news they like taking sniffer dogs to concerts and clubs that are attended by young people but you never see sniffer dogs at the fancy clubs and bars where rich executives etc are taking cocaine etc?

What is that god damn movie???

Given your information I don't think it's this movie but there's no harm in writing it here. Winterschlaefer (aka winter sleepers). I've got a bunch of cool German movies and other world movies I can name for you if you're keen. They aren't the film that you're looking for but I think they're cool.

    Jehovas Witnesses

When I was a teenager some knocked on my mate's door early one morning. His big angry black dad marched down the stairs stark naked and goes "WHAT?!?!?!". They said they'd come back another time but they never came back again. I've learnt a trick from my mum when I need to get rid of them. Because she has a friend who is a JW and who gives my mum books to read then I tell them that my friend already gives me the books. It gets rid of them quickly and easily. Normally they want to leave literature and then come back and talk about it later.

    Pressure cookers

If I want mine to cool down fast I take the lid off and then just put some foil over the top so the heat escapes faster. I then leave it in my already clean room that's being used for myco work. I haven't had any contamination yet and the jars also have foil wrapped around the top so water doesn't drip down into them during sterilisation. I have only done this with jars so far though and not mycobags.

I had to pay about $150 for shipping for my 921 before the Aussie dollar was so good. Not you can get the 921 sent cheaply from Amazon.

    Good Pest Spray?

Hey guys, Bugs have been chewing holes in the veggies that I planted and I don't want them attacking the caapi and other ethno plants I have. Could anyone recommend a decent pest spray that I could get easily enough from a place like Bunnings etc?

    Good Pest Spray?

I am not sure what is eating them. I inspected the plants and could not find any bugs on them such as aphids etc nor could I see any trace of snails. All I can see is holes in the leafs which is pissing me off.

    growing oysters

Just grab a big bag from the bottom. Something that is mostly millet and wheat (and possibly milo) should be good as the size of the grains should be about the same which is good when you're soaking and boiling the grain as some might not get soaked enough if they're too big and the other grains might get soaked (or boiled) too much. Add a little gypsum to your grain whilst you let is soak as it'll stop the grain from clumping together. You can get it from Bunnings.
