Try messaging themushroombloke on the forums. He might have some. I am sure there would be a few others on here too. They might post once they read this. Give it a day or two. It's one of the mushrooms I want to get a culture of. At the moment I have slants of Cordyceps Militaris, Grifola Frondosa and Hericium Erinaceus. I have a shiitake print somewhere and I have some blue oyster petri dishes too. I gave a few blue oyster petri dishes away because my cultures are basically in storage and I thought I'd share the love around. It's also good sharing them with others because then you can create a 'buddy system' which will save you much trouble should you have a catastrophic failure and lose your cultures. The guy whom I gave some cultures to disappeared off the face of the earth though = / I had some portabello mushrooms growing but then I got sick of them so I couldn't be bothered. Bunnings sells mushroom kits sometimes (and some other places) so you can use them to grow some mushrooms and make some prints/cultures from. Another reason why I stopped growing portabello mushrooms is because I'd rather concentrate on growing the more expensive mushrooms with the limited space, time and materials that I have. They aint cheap when you see the prices in the shops!

They might not be fine for much longer if you don't go. Your teeth need maintenance too and if you leave the problem then it can become A LOT more expensive later on. Getting your wisdom teeth removed isn't so bad but get all four removed at once because you don't want to have to go back multiple times and go through the same shit again.

Why would you not order from interstate? It's not as if you are ordering anything illegal. Furthermore, postage within Australia isn't really a problem. They're more worried about international postage. I just shake my liquid cultures. Which species do you already have?
-
A syringe would be better as the hard work has already been done. It's hard taking prints from some mushrooms too so it can be better to clone from tissue samples and make liquid cultures etc.

Why not see the dentist?

I hear sugarcane works well =P

I got some stuff from them. I got some san pedro and bridgesii seeds. I also got some caespitosa seeds but I got a lot less ceaspitosa seeds than I ordered which kinda pissed me off. I didn't lose that much money but it was annoying because I didn't get what I paid for. I am sure I could have contacted them and sorted it out but I didn't end up doing it and I didn't want to take the risk of getting more stuff from overseas.

Where did you hear about this being the last EGA?

What kind of grow box and lamps do you have etc? Do you have any photos?

Man, that's real fucked when people do stuff like that.

What is the lowest temp it can handle? I live in Perth and want to try growing it just because I can. I think I should wait until later in the year until I try getting seeds or cuttings though

Yeah, that's the email. I contacted him via email and transferred the money via Paypal. The book came shortly after. I hope he prints more as it is a great book. -

Yeah, when I first started getting into ethnobotany I was a noob who wasn't able to get all of the information that I wanted/needed. This made it a lot easier and it is a good reference book, especially if I see people posting about a plant I do not know about. -
Well, it was just an off week. I basically found out when it was too late that no one was going to be around during business hours. I would have sent it to work but I just started at the place recently and some people there are dicks. I'd rather keep my hobby to myself. I could try next time though.

I got it! The guy left it at the front door. I left a sign on the front door asking the guy to leave it there if no one was home to pick it up. I am not sure if he would have left it anyway. I have had left packages left at the front door before but not always. That parcel transfer service sounds good. Thanks for the tip, Alice.

Try growing some eggplant. I'm growing them at the moment and they are hardy as fuck. I don't know what to do with them all and as they are perennials they will last for over two years. You can also graft them which has numerous benefits. I have not grafted one myself but I saw one that a guy grafted and it was awesome. Chooks are good too. Just don't get a rooster because they are noisy and some councils even have rules against owning roosters. You could grow more food faster and with less space if you used hydroponics. You don't need to use expensive lights or anything. You could have a basic setup outside in a greenhouse or something. If you look on Youtube you will find some cool backyard hydroponic vegetable setups and there are plenty that aren't fancy. You can also save space by growing upward with the use of a trellis or wall etc. You can grow cucumbers this way. -
If I were making spore syringes or liquid cultures then I would use distilled water. However, for everything else tap water is fine.

I start work at 8:30 and don't get home until about 6PM. FUCK! Maybe I could go into work hell early tomorrow or something and try to leave early.

So you still have dragon fruit and vanilla?

I like the toilets that have hoses attached. I discovered them in Thailand and don't know why we don't have them here. They make life so much easier (and cleaner).

India is the land of graft and corruption. My mate just got back from India and he and others were trying to build an orphanage but everyone was trying to scam them. He had to hide his white ass when he wanted to buy something otherwise the prices went through the roof.

I bought this book and it's brilliant. I'm glad I was able to get a copy.
