Went to the waterfall at atkinson for the first time yesterday it is amazing....best one on the coast imo seen a bunch of blue meanies on the way out there. Seen them up on the range too they are everywhere I look.

There is a park just up from the hospital in nambour with a nice waterfall and swimming hole. Its not as nice as a lot of thr creeks around there but for walking distance from nambour it's actually quite pretty.

I dont understand how you can block anything that has been voted on... I mean isn't that how a democracy works? majority rule! -
I picked a few of them the other day... the stem is much thicker on those compared to cyans. They also seem to like more light cause you always see them poking up above the grass in open paddock.

Nothing to do with terrorist it was one nutter with a gun.... I was actually suprized tho only a few stations reported it as a terrorist attack. I was also pleasantly surprised they didn't go on and on about his ethnicity.... I actually figured he must be caucasian for a while since they didn't mention it for hours.

Here is another one I want an id on I'm pretty sure its a look alike. Grows in dung looks very similar to p cyans but doesn't bruise blue... its rather abundant in qld and I'll usually see a few poking up well above the grass. This is a pic of a young medium and old one

The Spineless Trichocereus Scopulicola Project

I have spineless scop. My boss had one about 2m tall and it fell so I ended up with a piece. It doesn't get real thick... only about a bit thicker than normal pc. I thought it was a pachanoi for a while but its got that scop skin and goes completely spineless on old growth... smooth to touch. -

Yeah man so dry on the sunny coast.... we had maybe enough rain to get a couple pop up last week but haven't had a look. Supposed to get some rain next week though hopefully.
