hi all was just hoping to confirm that this is what it said in the title??? freshly cut not even 10 minutes ago from a house down the road from me luckily the people living there where kind enough to give me this huge cutting. oh and is this scale?> I was glad I asked them for one as they were telling me that the cacti used to be huge but one day someone jumped there fence and cut the whole thing of at the base must of been a while ago because the parent plant is about 7 ish foot tall and had no visible spines although I do have a tiny one now stuck in my thumb

Race to the Moon Heats Up for Private Firms
Bert&Ernie replied to synchromesh's topic in News & Notices
well the moon's soil is rich in helium-3, the element is rarely found on Earth, unlike on the moon, where it is heavily accumulated because it is pushed away by the Earth's magnetic poles.Helium-3 is highly sought for nuclear fusion, and though the technology is still in its infancy, the element "will ultimately be quite valuable on Earth," Schmitt said. (info found at moons potential) it could also be used as a launching area for future missions to Mars and where ever else you want to go i guess -
