  1. It just goes to show how many homophobic people there are masquerading as health care workers.

Let them get married if they want to, they're not hurting anyone except 4 each others bums...& they seem to enjoy that anyway.

Well @ least it seems so, they keep going back for more.

It seems that there a few homophobes masquerading as amateur ethnobotanists too.

  2. For my next trick, I will have Marcel skin a white pony and wear the pelt to Sunday service. Watch this space.

No white ponies on the ranch, I'm afraid. Just hung out this bastard for a drip dry now...

  3. Don't know about the dried one, but the others certainly look like some nice, nuggety subs to me. Let us know how the prints come up.

Also, don't necessarily trust the word of a bunch of hippies on the internet!

  4. wow, that was one hell of a slanderous post. who is this marroncelli guy?

What slanderous post? Did I miss something? Why do I always arrive too late for the funny stuff? :BANGHEAD2:

  5. Tonic: So, so many subs on the north side of Sydney. Every year I find a new patch or two. I know of 4 serious patches within 5 minutes drive from my house. Still 6 weeks or so off, though.

(PS: I'm not tellin', so don't be askin'!)

  6. Start at Steve Reich and work your way backwards. Different Trains is as a good a starting point as any.

If that's too experimental for you, start at Ravel's Piano Trios.

If that's too experimental, go further back to the baroque era. Plenty of HI-NRG there. Nobody doesn't like Vivaldi. And Bach's orchestral work gets my heart racing every time.

Tread slowly. A whole new world of music will open up, but don't get discouraged if something doesn't speak to you straight away. Keep searching and you'll find your entry point. From there, you won't know how you lived without at least half your iPod being filled woth long dead white Europeans.

  7. Heya.

I'm in the market for a new tent at the moment. A few people at last year's EGA had those cute SoulPad tents which look ace. There's another company called Psyclone Tents that have a very similar product (which I like a little better, actually). I know they're a bit expensive but they're darn nice things.

Anyone own one of these? What should I be aware of? Is the 4 metre size sufficient for a family of 4 that doesn't mind cuddling up together at night?

  8. The first ones, the big ones with dark spore prints, I have found in the North Coast before. Here are my photos for comparison (the last type in that post). Back then I decided that they were Stropharia rugosoannulata albeit a very pale strain. Maybe they're not a rugosannulata at all, but they sure look like a Stropharia spp.

Not sure about your other ones. They're a little too far gone to ID.
