    *edited to say that i've said my piece on this topic and won't be posting anything further in relation to any ignorant opinions on these breeds of dog. :wave-finger:

     

    Perhaps my security work as a guard dog handler and all the conferences and discussions about dog breeds was all a farce.

    Maybe the Silky terrier that was attacked several weeks ago by a Staffordshire in my street brought it upon itself when it's owner dared walk it along the footpath on the opposite side of the road from the Staffy.

    In your infinite wisdom you entirely missed the point of my post, the point I was making, which was it is the irresponsible owners that are the problem not the dog. The more potential for harm the more precautions the owner needs to take.

    Maybe you should brush up on your comprehension skills.

    By the way I've owned a Pitbull and Staffy so I do have some idea of what I'm talking about.

    It has the same build and same powerful jaw and if it gets hold of a silky terrier or a child then we can predict the outcome.

    In a rural environment where you have feral pigs those breeds are perfect but in an urban environment ????

    Most people where I live are in denial as to how dangerous their dog is.they get a dog and whack it in the back yard and play with it occasionally and think that this is acceptable.

    I realise they don't all have the same temperament as a pitbull but they are still a powerful dog that can do a lot of damage and I think it is the owners responsibility to train the dog and have a well fenced yard.

    If they roam the streets all the time and have had no training what so ever the I think this is a dangerous combination.

    Irresponsibile owners make all dogs look bad no matter what the breed.

    That is the reason why pitbulls have such a bad name.

    We have a bit over a cup full if you want it, it is around 2 yrs old. Just let me know.

    Hi

    The moon seems to be in a favourable phase at the moment and I was hoping someone could give me an idea of how deep to plant

    * Acacia acuminata

    * Acacia maidenii

    Any tips would help.

    I do plan on scarifying the seeds and soaking the seed in seasol or do I need smoke water for soaking the seeds.
