I considered touching that ^ with a 10 foot barge pole but it's not long enough...

I don't know what they are but they're definitely not Sub A. That variety (photographed), apart from the visual differences mentioned above, is also quite fragile when compared to Sub A; both the cap and the stem break apart very easily whereas Sub A. is a lot more robust.
