  1. Incognito is a girl? Oh wow. All this time, and didn't even look at the "gender" tag under her avatar...

Does anyone know the actual legislation for this? Preferably in link form? Curious as to exactly what is said about that. I was under the impression that seeing or smelling gives reasonabl suspicion, which is grounds for a warrant, but that the police would still need a warrant?

EDIT: Removed old post. My workout: Currently I'm doing staggered workouts, such that each area of my body is worked twice a week, but that I'm doing a work out each day. My upper body workout is in counting stages of 1,3,1,3 of underhand chinup, pushups, overhand chinup, dips. By counting I mean that I start with 1 chinup, 3 pushups, 1 chinup, 3 dips, then immediately, on finishing that set, progress to 2,6,2,6 and then onto 3,9,3,9 etc until I cannot do further, then attempting to count down from the number I reached. I've only just started, so nothing spectacular as far as results go yet, but I'm able to go through sets of 1, 2, 2, 1 (meaning 1,3,1,3,2,6,2,6,2,6,2,6,1,3,1,3) fairly comfortably. I shall endeavour to breach the 3x set within 2 to 3 weeks. I haven't yet finalised my lower body and core workouts, but I shall be doing some research to see what I can come up with. One- and two- legged squats seem useful for lower body, for core, bridges, crunches, V-ups (or jackknives) are all candidates, though I'd need something for obliques and back. Perhaps hyperextensions, and bicycle crunches, we shall see. Looking to finalise exercises by the end of this week. All of my proposed exercises are body-weight based, though I have some dumbells that are an option also. Will almost certainly be using them for lower body.

Semi spoiler - kind of a spoiler Next time you see a fox you should follow it. Might find something cool.

I think you will find that if you "sprint" down some hills you will get airborne, and if it's steep enough you will take fall damage from the falls. I had a hell of a time trying to get down mountains, until I realised the "become ethereal" shout negates fall damage as well. *Shouts, then jumps off the highest cliff he can find* *Lands it like a boss*

Some of you guys have the weirdest race/class combinations. Although I can't say much, I have my heavy armour sneakthief khajit that fights with a bow and fists. High elf warrior and wood elf mage were two combos that I never thought I'd see.

Yeah the over-arcing stories are pretty similar, but I think the difference in the games lies in the details and scenery. I spent so many hours exploring Morrowind. Days. Once you figure out a bit of the game you can just front up to certain dungeons and get epic level loot at level 1, but that was half the goodness. Also - far too many locked doors that need keys in this damn game. EDIT: Yeah the librarian seems a good choice to me. Been with the guild for years!

    elephant mammoth clone for you?

Let's bring back extinct species so we can not mind that we're not doing much for the currently endangered ones! I don't see the point of this. We have enough animals on this planet dying out. We don't need to bring dead ones back just so they can die out again.

Well that is what happens in all the guild lines isn't it? At least that's the trend. I remember in Morrowind being the head of Fighters, Thieves, and Mages guild all at once... The same was possible in Oblivion. You could become a VERY important person, barring that you also save the world. I wonder if they'll ever make a game with not-so-high aspirations. I thought the mages guild quest was a bit slapdash. By the end of it perhaps one in-game fortnight had passed, and everyone was like "you're the obvious choice blah blah" and I was like "Whut? I've been here like a week! What about that dude who's been here for years?"

New food bill in New Zealand

This makes my bullshit alarms SCREAM. Immunity from criminal persecution? Oh no, you killed your wife and kids, but it's okay because you're a food safety officer? This makes more sense when the next bit is added (still bad though) An increase of Genetically Engineered foods? I didn't know you could go above 100%. As is, all vegetables and fruits grown for consumption are "genetically engineered" I agree that this would be awful in the event that it passed, but some of this stuff seems sensational rather than factual. The definition of "food" is stated here, and I do not think that covers seeds unless the seeds are meant for consumption or preparation (as in wheat or corn). The specifications in this clause mention "constituents" and "ingredients" of a food or drink, but seeds are precursors for a plant, of which the food may emerge. Though, on further reading, the definition of "food business" may cover trade of seeds. I cannot be sure. Part4, subpart 6 indicates that a search warrant is required, as it is the requirements of the search warrant content.

Those that I have found have been pretty random. I've found 2 through quests that you get on entering the dungeon, 1 from main storyline, and one from another quest, and one completely out of the blue at a certain place. I'm finding the game is getting too easy, the stagger effect on destruction spells is very powerful, and I rarely have to do anything other than Lightning Cloak, then Lightning bolt them periodically to stagger. Think I will reroll a warrior next run, and turn the difficulty up to master, and play only hand-to-hand (it could actually get strong as a khajiit with heavy armour perks and enchanted gloves/ring. Maybe) I just don't know what to do with myself now that the (rather short) main quest line is done with. I'm head of the mages guild, not really feeling the flavour of a mage-thief or warrior or assassin, so I have no part in the other guilds, and after the stuff I've done the other little side quests seem a tad pointless.

Nothing suss there haha. Good mesh, bar a couple of things. The toes look horrifying. The belly button seemed too high, but now that I think about it, it's probably accurate. Looking forward to the final skin.

I think the bounty will say "added to the Reach" or somesuch, and is regional (ie each Jarl has his own jurisdiction). I'm trying to find all 8 dragon priest masks without using any guides or walkthroughs. Got really excited when I found one last night, now I have 4, including the one you get in the main quest line. Really would like to know if anything special comes from having them all. SPOILER: And bringing them all to Labyrinthian to make my altar complete.

If you're in Markarth, the quest in the prison is the only way out. Nobody escapes Cidhna Mine - except you when you escape. In all other prisons you keep 1 lockpick and there are secret exits if you can find them, though you still would need to get your confiscated gear. Do you not quicksave often? I hit F5 pretty much every time I attack someone I think could be important (read: unkillable), but yeah, the Morrowind approach to this was much better. If you kill a main character, they die, and you get a message saying you've doomed the world, but you can continue playing as that character.

    Anyone else into knives?

I saw a book while in Caloundra called 500 knives. Had some beasts, and some really amazing pieces of craftsmanship. I could hardly turn a page without wanting each knife that I saw. The longest was over 20 inches I think. Didn't pay a great deal of attn to the specs. EDIT: Here it is on amazon.

Looking pretty good so far. How many hours have gone into it? Looks like a pretty long piece of work, but that's alright if it's partly practice to see how good you can get. Looking forward to seeing the finished result

    Has love/sex become comodatiesed

Thunder said that the women outnumber the men Folias. I think, personally, that you've just romanticised a culture and are going to love it whatever you find, but here is a pdf file that apparently is a study (survey elements too?) of female empowerment globally, and it ranks Russian Federation to be 31st overall. They are, according to this study, less empowered in Russia than in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Sweden, Norway, Germany, France etc. So I don't think your statement that they are often more empowered is quite correct. I'm not sure of the viability of the study, if it's got survey elements or whatnot, but I'll take its word over yours for now. As for pure relationships, I've yet to be in a sexual relationship that I do not have strong emotional ties through first. You're just not looking in the same places, go to some russian nightclubs and pick up chicks there and see how much they're not part of the "fuck and get fucked" culture. I think you are making a great many extremely broad generalisations and false assumptions here.
  19. They also have to compete with other trees. The shortest ones get less sun than the taller ones. I think the solar panel equivalent of the natural world would be ground cover or algae. I've yet to see a funky solar tree be built. If the tech is so revolutionary the big corps would have started rolling it out and there would be advertising and so forth.

    an attempt at a poem

I wrote this just then, don't know if it deserves its own thread, so I'll stash it here I think. The thread title seems oddly appropriate. It's not in verse or anything, but here goes I guess. Angry child with issues, raging, argues with a worn out old man. The man, tired and put upon, who has worked his whole life, and raised said child, steps lightly, lest the muscular youth's aggression turn physical. The altercation goes on for some time, neither party truly listening to the other, constant soliloquy rationalising their faults. Perhaps both parties will learn from their encounter, but suspicion lies that just one will. It is a terrible shame, to see such dispute, and to know that somehow one participant will never recover from the verbal lashing they have recieved; that which was not their due. I now fear, with what I think is good reason, for the spark of life in a man. For that which makes him more than an automaton, a husk of the old self, dejected into everyday tasks. I am terrified, and terribly saddened at this, perhaps driven to the brink of despair, for what point of it all, if we are to end in such a manner? EDIT: To clarify - the resultant monologue after an argument between my brother and my father.

I like your plan. At the moment I don't really have money to invest in protein shakes etc, hopefully I will have a job soon and can get some stuff then. As is, the meal plan looks cool, and I was planning on doing 3 different work-out days, twice a week, with sundays off. I'd alternate upper body, legs, and core, though obviously there will be some overlap in exercises. As far as I know this will give me enough time for my muscles to heal, but not so much that I will be wasting it sitting around like an idiot. Oh, and I probably wouldn't go for boiled chicken breast. If anything it's less nutritious than frying. I think I'm fortunate in that I have the kind of body that is more prone to putting on muscle than fat. Humm perhaps I will be able to post results at the end. Would suck if I didn't stick to it, perhaps some pressure will help

Morrowind cheerleaders are better than all the other kinds. I agree with you on the redundant and difficult things making it loveable. Morrowind was by far my favourite game for quite a long time. Now I'm not sure what is.

I'm looking to put on maybe 10 kilos of muscle mass over the next three months, and after that, drop my body fat % a bit. If that's the wrong order of things then let me know It's going to be tough eating enough though. Gonna have to consume loads of food. (good food that is)
