The Philosophy Discussion Thread!
Jumpstarter replied to Bert&Ernie's topic in Creativity, Spirituality & Philosophy
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_will https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom Both can be one and the same. Pre-determination is just one theory which opposes free will, and if everything is pre-determined, then can you say that we have no freedom as well? -

Have a look here for information on known active species - http://www.erowid.org/plants/phalaris/phalaris_faq.shtml#6 Plenty of information on Erowid, couldn't see much/any info on P. Paradoxa though.

I have used these guys before when I made a purchase of 5 hard drives off newegg, so the box wasn't small, nor was it light, and from memory i paid about 80 dollars for shipping. As a bonus, they will often search for coupons for you to try and save you some money. Really friendly service. http://www.priceusa.com.au/

Composting options
Jumpstarter replied to Jumpstarter's topic in Sustainable Technologies & Ethical Living
Excellent! All this information will be put to good use in the coming weeks. Thank you for all the advice, it is appreciated. -
Hey, I'm looking for some different composting options; What type of container is the best, a tumbling one or still standing with open bottom? I am looking at some eBay auctions, but shipping can get expensive on some of the larger items. Any suggestions on what bin to get? Not looking for a massive bin, just standard size of maybe 100-150L. Also what additives would you recommend with kitchen scraps? Thanks, JS

Composting options
Jumpstarter replied to Jumpstarter's topic in Sustainable Technologies & Ethical Living
Some good info, thanks guys. There was some 'kiddies' wheelie bins for sale at our local 'Sam's Warehouse' which could be converted into a compost bin, just cut the bottom out. Otherwise i think i would make a purchase of the 'SWAG' composting unit. I'm still interested on collecting further suggestions on other composting solutions, recipes etc. Thanks again, JS -
Got mine, thanks mate!
