    Farewell Incognito

    When i first joined SAB, incognito had the gender set as 'female' , swore like a trouper and had a weird avatar that looked like the silhouette of someone plumpish. I had this image in my head of incognito being a rough, large, toothless, tattooed truck driver woman (not that theres any thing wrong with that, lol). It was ages before that image left my mind when reading his posts.

    Give it time, i reckon he will miss us too much and come back with many a story to tell. In the mean time... happy travels nito.

    I know what you are saying gem. I love both my dogs, but there's something about my Jack Russel, Buddy, i dunno, he and i have a special bond for sure. It worries me how attached i am to him, because if any thing ever happened to him, i dont think i could cope. Hes the smartest dog I've ever encountered hey. We started having code words for things like 'walk' 'laser' 'bone' 'car' , but he soon learned those, so we started spelling them, but he learned those too, lol. If i am about to share some food with him, and hes not sure he will like it (going by the smell), he signals he wants me to put the morsel of food on the floor instead of in his mouth. He looks down at the ground, like nods a few times , looking at me and then the ground. Hes a little shit though, and he'll growl at me if i am annoying him. Hes got issues thats for sure, but his pluses out weigh the minuses.

    Takoda the border collie is so loyal, such a good girl (well, a bit naughty, lol), but shes a dumb dumb, lol. (yes i know....border collies are meant to be the smartest dogs). She has a bit of a bladder problem at the moment and wees while shes asleep. Shes off to the vet this arvo, so i hope its easily treatable. Some one at work was telling me her border collie leaked wee and ended up being diabetic. eeeeek.

    Gee I dunno niggles, I wouldn't risk it. Chickens are pretty inquisitive and will try anything, and also peck at shit just for fun. I had a chook that enjoyed destroying styrofoam worm farm boxes, lol. Chooks are great, but they are a bit like feathered goats in my experience. <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_smile.png

    EDIT: I might add that you would be thinking the chook destroyed the foam box looking for worms, but she also picked at the foam that cushioned fish tanks, the foam insulation in a shed.... she was a foam addict. Lol. But yeah, chooks make good additions to the yard. I would like to get some quail. Newly hatched quail are so cute. Tiny little things...But there are too many cats in the neighbourhood to have free ranging quail.

    I'm more excited about the location / scenery than i am about the plants...Seriously bogfrog, that looks like an awesome place to be living. The house looks great too. I bet it all has a really nice feeling to it. <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_smile.png

    Finally building my greenhouse!

    Hi Guys, the whole week was like a ride on a rollercoaster. I was putting together the greenhouse in the pouring rain and when I finally got everything together, a storm came up and blew it over. I am literally writing this after finding my greenhouse collapsed and some of the PVC sheets were bent or partially broken. l´ll probably spend the whole day trying to get it more stable but I am not sure if I´ll succeed with that. I am really not an expert in building greenhouses but a large part of the blame goes to this totally instable greenhouse model, which is overpriced and now forces me to buy an additional windset for 90 bucks that should have been part of the whole shithouse to begin with. I´ll also glue the PVC sheets into the frame because that´s probably the only way I can get them to stay inside when there´s wind. If the greenhouse falls apart at slow winds like the ones we had yesterday, there is no way in the world it will survive the winter. This is ridiculous and I am really pissed about the low quality of the whole thing. Spent like 600 Euros and for that money it should fucking stand.

    Just a little hurdle EG. <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_newimprovedwinkonclear.gif Think of how useful it will be once it's sorted. Don't give up. <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_smile.png . I really hope it isn't as crap as you make it sound in your frustrated post, lol.

    On a few occasions I also thought the same thing hey, but taking a second look, it was a member by the name of 'planthunter'...very similar huh?! Should be a law against that....     As I pulled up to the service station the other day and it was pouring with rain, I remembered back when there were service station attendants. You wouldn't even have to get out of your car, they would put fuel in, check your water and oil and wash your windscreen , then take your payment and bring you back the change. I think they should bring that service back, it would reduce unemployment a bit. Lol.

    While I'm at it, .... I remember forever ago when you had to pay 2 cents to use the toilet at Flinders Street Station in Melbourne. It had a coin slot similar to a gum ball machine, put the coin in and turn. I know right, paying to use a public toilet, at least parking was free back then. Lol.

    I bet many of you use to watch Kung Fu with David Carradine? I loved that show. Yes Grasshopper .... How cool was that old guy. Lol.
