Mantis shrimp or stomatopods are marine crustaceans, the members of the order Stomatopoda. They are neither shrimp nor mantids, but receive their name purely from the physical resemblance to both the terrestrial praying mantis . Really psychedelic aren't they !

Hey Toast. Tonight i tried some of that Chili that you sent me , WOW MAN. I put a tiny piece on some veg' pizza ,i am talking about 2mm square , two chews and i had to spit it out. Through out the day i have been thinking about this topic that i started. Maybe it was not my place to raise such an issue ,you know, being a very new member and all. Excuse my manners. They regenerate limbs and tails whilst they are in their larval form. Sometimes you might see an Axolotl with two feet on one leg . Those Mantis shrimp are Bizarre aren't they. I didn't know that they existed.

I was once a keen Walking Fish keeper. I bred them a few times. They are indeed funky creatures. Once they turn into a salamander, they are not so exciting. Yeah, they look great like that but like to hide in a dark moist place on land under moss. There are a few ways to induce them to metamorphose but i personally prefer the larval form. In the wild they 'morph naturally quite commonly. The most interesting fact i found about these guys is that they breed in their larval and adult form. Cool huh! Any other interesting creatures ,well where do i start??? Below is a pic from Google. They come in many colors, black, albino, gold, white ,rare Harlequin.

Isn't it great that we are all unique and see things differently . Some people just try to make serious things light hearted. I don't want to star a feud. I understand Auxin. Looking at it from that perspective it can be a good thing. As i am pretty new here i am still working things out. Through my eyes it is being abused.

Those people you have mentioned would have to deal with the same pain if something happened to you. Yeh life can suck sometimes. There is no easy way to deal with the death of a loved one. Try to remember the good times you had together . Keep your chin up . Deepest Condolences.

The brand 'Always Fresh' has some really tasty stuff. I love the Greek kalamata olives mmm. So it can be a bonus...get something nice to eat and then have a Jar to re-use. Good stuff.

Are you feeling any better Chiral? What is actually wrong with your lower back,is it sciatica or a slipped disc or?? A herbal spa bath (if you can get into it) and a loving massage might help temporarily. You can't keep numbing the pain. Can the condition be fixed either surgically or by manipulation. ( rather the latter).Good Health vibes being sent your way.

I wasn't overly wrapped in this book. Although it is a good one to have, i was a Little disappointed in the amount of pictures there was for each variety. There is only 1 pic of subs and that is not overly great. So i reckon Googling images over and over again to see the variations and become familiar. And just get out there and have a look around. good luck.
