I agree that we should be more tolerant after all being annoying is subjective to the person. As for being banned , well i can think of a mod here (he wasn't a mod at the time) that was 'turned away' until he settled down a bit and started posting things that made sense.

  9. By Washington correspondent Kim Landers Posted 1 hour 25 minutes ago Updated 1 hour 26 minutes ago US President George W Bush and his top military adviser are being drawn into potentially dangerous speculation that Israel is preparing to launch a military strike against Iran. Mr Bush is doing his best to play down the chances of that happening before he leaves office, but America's most senior military officer, Admiral Mike Mullen, is being far blunter, warning that an Israeli strike inside Iran would be a high risk move that could destabilise the Middle East. Admiral Mullen has just returned from Israel and is refusing to reveal what the country's leadership has told him about any intentions for a military strike on the Islamic republic. "I won't discuss the details of the concerns they expressed nor will I comment one way or another about the speculation surrounding Israeli intentions," he said upon his return. He has made it very clear though what he would not like to see happen. "From the United States's perspective, the United States' military perspective in particular, opening up a third front right now would be extremely stressful on us," he said. "That doesn't mean we don't have capacity or reserve, but that would really be very challenging and also the consequences of that sometimes are very difficult to predict." Asked if he has strongly discouraged Israel from launching a military attack on Iran, President George W Bush is stressing his first option in dealing with Iran's nuclear ambitions is diplomacy. "The best way to solve it diplomatically is for the United States to work with other nations to send a focused message, and that is that you will be isolated and you will have economic hardship if you continue trying to enrich." As for whether the US will launch an attack, Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki has told reporters in New York that he does not believe the US will "resort to such craziness". He says with America bogged down in Iraq and Afghanistan, it is not in a position to "take another risk in the region". He also says Israel has too much political turmoil to launch an attack of its own. Iran insists its nuclear program is only aimed at generating electricity. Mr Mottaki expects Tehran will respond in less than a fortnight to an international package of incentives seeking to end Iran's nuclear enrichment program. US ambassador to the United Nations Zalmay Khalilzad has said he is optimistic Iran will respond to the incentives, but the White House remains sceptical. What was the food of the gods?

I can remember reading an article about chocolate and the cravings it produces. If you are worried about your weight they advised to eat the best quality dark chocolate you could buy. If you try to save money and buy the cheap chocolate you have to eat the whole block just to satisfy the craving because the body is craving the cocao, not the milk and sugar. Thus if you buy the expensive 70/90% cocao dark chocolate your craving will be satisfied quicker and you won't need to take on all the extra kilojoules you would of if you had to eat the whole block of the cheap stuff. So if you can develop a craving for cocao (not the milk and sugar) it seems entirely resonable that you could think cocoa had mystical properties , thus opening up the next step that is to think it sent by a god.

    Heavy Metal

WOW ! That's pretty exciting news. I was under the impression that they had a falling out, it had something to do with wives and girlfriends not getting along. Sepultura , was (and still is ) one of the greatest experiences i have had. 'Roots' is still on high rotation in my car even after all this time , it has to be one of the most powerful albums of all times, bar none. Once Max left the band it was all over , but that album is timeless. It has always intrigued me as to why i like powerfull metal type stuff , when i try to explain it all i can only say that the sound is felt, not so much listened too. The really cool thing is that i was meant to get over this kinda stuff as i got older. Wrong !!!!! I turn 40 next year I wear a suit to work and work in management have a wife a mortgage and two kids , and i love powerfull music I guess somethings come from deep inside................

    2012

Back to those pics of a weeks food. It seems that the people spending less on there food are actually still getting a good feed , it just seems that their food has cut out the middle man and the companies. By spending more it doesn't seem that they are getting more, granted there is some excess . It would be an interesting exercise to have all those goods from those who spend less purchased from a retail chain super market here in the west and see how much it would cost then.

    IMPORTANT LEGAL INFO

I once saw a documentary on one of these funky peyote churchs in the US. This mob grew all there own peyote, they showed footage of thier property and they had a huge amount growing in plastic pots. As for eating them to extinction , it's just plain stupid.
  18. Wheelchair drink-driver 'six times over limit' A man has been charged with drink driving after police found him slumped in his motorised wheelchair near a major highway in Cairns in far north Queensland. Police allege the man's wheelchair had come to a stop in an exit lane, forcing motorists to drive around him. After they roused the 64-year-old man, he recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.301 - more than six times the legal limit. Inspector Bob Waters says motorised wheelchairs are classed as vehicles. "The vehicles that we normally hear about with drink driving are the family car, the truck, the motorbike," he said. "But there are also other classes of vehicles that are subject to drink-driving laws." http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/06...?section=justin

    Car accident damage.

As a general rule of thumb. Walk around the car and allow 350 for every panel that needs to be painted (scratches included) and you won't be far off.
  21. Sorry to jump in but... Just a quick observation. A 'phobia' would sugest to me something you have very little personal control over (eg: arachnephobia, agrophobia, xenophobia ,etc.......) so in asking is it wrong to have i phobia , i would argue that you have little choice. Most phobias are real medically recognised conditions. Okay you can go back to it now

    Car accident damage.

You can't get blood out of a stone , if he can't pay then the other parties insurance steps in pays the repair. The insurance company then commences recovery procedures for the monies owing. But as i said you can't get blood out of a stone.....
  23. http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/06...?section=justin A stockpile of safrole-rich oil is burned in Cambodia (Australian Federal Police) A joint operation between Australian Federal Police (AFP) and Cambodian authorities has destroyed one of the world's largest illegal stockpiles of the oil used as a precursor to manufacture ecstasy. AFP members travelled to Pursat in western Cambodia to help destroy a stockpile of safrole-rich oil which could have been used to produce 245 million MDMA (ecstasy) tablets with an estimated street value in Australia of $7.6 billion. The team of four technicians and two forensic chemists from the AFP's Specialist Response Amphetamine Type Stimulants (SRATS) team began burning the 33-tonne stockpile of oil this week. The burns of the 1,278 oil barrels took several days and were conducted in the early morning and evening because of the sweltering conditions in Cambodia at this time of year. Cambodian authorities have been working since 2002 to stem the distillation of safrole-rich oil and since that time have succeeded in detecting and dismantling more than 50 clandestine laboratories capable of producing up to 60 litres a day. The AFP's Tim Morris congratulated says the destruction of the oil was a significant blow to the trade of illicit drugs in the region. "I commend the coordinated effort by Cambodian authorities to seize the oil, break the production chain and reduce the dependency on income from illegal drug manufacture," he said. "This oil is not only a precursor in ecstasy production, it also has considerable social and ecological ramifications for Cambodia's people and environment. "This oil is known to be carcinogenic and mutagenic and the people working in these clan labs are often Cambodia's poorest farmers."
