Even organic doesn't equate to better taste. The organic crops grown comercially must be grown with shelf life , appearence , resistance to insects/fungi etc..... I had some 'organic' brocolli sit in my fridge for over 6 weeks and only went a little yellow ! The brocolli i grow doesn't last half as long, so it seems to me that 'super' vegies are being bred for the organic markets. Kinda like the tomato , which has been selectivly bred for self serve supermarket buyers , they just couldn't sell the soft ripe good tasting varietys as they would have to throw out a fair amount as the customers rough handled them looking for the perfect fruit.Mind you this was not an issue when we had people who know how to handle fruit working in fruit and veg shops , they could sell the soft ripe good tasting varietys as they were the only ones handling the fruit , and they knew how to look after it. Seems like in another decade they probably will have bred all the 'right' consumer properties into the plant so organic won't look , taste,feel , smell any better than what is in the mainstream today.

We get a type of fungus/caterpillar out here , they had an article in the local paper with photos of a few that had been found near the Grampians last month . (This months article they had found some cool 'stinkhorns' and a caged ball type fungus )

I could swear i read a report on phone taps in Australia last year and they had gone up from 50 to 60 or something pathetic like that. Lets face it sites like this are mainly being used by beginners making sub ounce quantities of meth ,hardly the sort of crime to involve phone taps and crap. Just out of curiosity have they worked out how to tap digital mobile phones yet ?In this age terrorism i think the powers that be have got much more important issues to spend their energies on. Sounds a bit suss to me ,not sure that they actually tap as many phones as people think ,but who knows ? Synthetikal is still up and runing and i was under the impression that the 'hive' went down after a change of owners of the server they used , it seems the site didn't suit their new image. Just a point to keep in mind , synthetical mainly appeals to meth cooks and meth users can tend to get paranoid.
