    Anyone else that is interested still send a PM. People seem to often pike at last minute and not turn up so its good to have back up. Thats not directed at you dan, just too many times ive had that happen and its so noying

    Have the following to give away. I would prefer it if one person can take the lot as it saves time and the hassle of organising meet up

    Pick ASAP

    4 x brugmansia (3 are rooted cutting 1 is 60ish cm. White and apricot, cant remember which is which :rolleyes:

    1 x tulsi 1m tall

    1 x Pilosocerus azureus 80ish cm. Main stem has scale damage that seems to be under control. it has 2 small pups

    2 x ornamental pineapple. Meant to be pink fruit but im yet to see it set fruit. Also have 2 regular pineapple plants cultivated from the tops of commercial ones

    Around 10 small ornamental cacti/succulents

    1 x chilli plant 1m tall. Seeds were from peru. Called 'fish eye' over there and has small round fruits. Produces a shitload of them

    1 x Stapelia gigantea. Fills up a 30cm low depth pot

    1 cappi cutting, not sure if rooted yet but it was done around 3 weeks ago. Cutting was about 10cms but most of that is under soil

    1 x some random palmy thing. Only produces short stems/leaves about 50cms

    Thats about it I think

    Hey all

    Im looking for various Tricho seedlings or seed grown cuttings. Seedling need to be at least 10cms but preferably a touch bigger.

    Dont want any mixed species hybrids. I much prefer the variations in species rather than the named clones business.

    Can trade various tricho cuts or cash. Cant provide photos of my cacti for another week or so.

    I have reoccuring dreams about rats in my bed and sometimes snakes. I often wake up in the midst of trapping them under my blanket. Snakes scare me a bit when i see them fanging around but rats i dont have a problem with. Im not really convinced it means something but it sure makes for some good lolz for the person sleeping next to me

    Yeah I see your point and its fair enough.

    But I still dont understand why having talk about these things is so damaging. Free energy is talked about by all sorts of people, many of which dont take psychadelics and are not in anyway involved with this community, so why is it that the belief in the possibility of free energy would be seen as a fundamental part of the ethno community rather than simply an element of it? If the science community cant accept the variation in peoples interests are they really going to be that useful for helping out the ethno community?

    I would rather not have my hobbies recognised by the scientific community if it means I have to fit into some rigid mould so I look the part.

    But threads like this do nothing to improve the image of this community in the eyes of scientists.

     

    Self-censorship so we can fit in with the cool science kids? Surely any scientist with some worth is able to see that people have multiple interests and the idea of exploring/challenging accepted theories can be exciting? Is it really necessary to abandon all alternative thought in the hope of gaining allies?

    I think if you weeded out the non-science people form this community the numbers would drop significantly.

    No pics sorry. I do have them but i dont have the possiblity to post them before monday

    But its just like i described. caapi has heaps of new shoots with maybe 6 or so main stems. viridis has very few leaves but new shoots with also around 6 or so stems/branches. The viridis looks pretty bare ATM but in another few weeks it will be looking good, once the new shoots open up

    Cool demo, im not a big fan of that style of drumming (in general, not your actual drug programing). Some nice riffs in there

    I would be interested in hearing just the guitar tracks with whatever samples are in there if you are keen to post that.

    There used to be a fair few metal heads on here but seems like there is FA these days :(

    Most PM's said that they were unsure of the value of these and I dont have the time to reply to all so ill make it an auction.

    I think its best to have 2 separate auctions as not everyone wants or needs both.

    So far the best offer was $100 for both so make it $50 each.

    Auction ends at midnight on Sunday the 16th

    I wont have net access from tomorrow morning until monday morning so wont be able to answer any questions after that.

    Pick up is inner south side 5kms from the shitty

    I have no idea the worth of these so make an offer. If there is much interest in the next 24 hours I might turn it into an auction, time will tell.

    B. caapi is about 4 years old but has lived in a pot its whole time. Its base is about 1 inch thick. It was cut back each winter as it outgrows its pot fast so its not a long vine ATM but has tons of new shoots

    The P.viridis is about the same age, 80cms tall. Not many leaves on it as it was kept in NSW over winter so dropped alot of leaves. Lots of new shoots now that its warming up.

    Pick up in brissy within the next week or so

    I agree with what you have both said.

    I dont think people should be posting their issues with others in memorial threads at all. As an example, Will was brought up or mentioned relatively often here, with a thread a few weeks before his death in relation to his rants on AE. If these topics are being brought up and no one bothers to have their say there, then why bother to say nasty things in the memorial thread? It seems twisted and also like Ramon mentioned if the families come across it, it must be awful for them.

    And if someone doesnt like another or has whatever problems with their personality who gives a shit? The need for people to bitch and moan about others is a greater reflection of their personal issues and Im sure this board wasnt designed as a platform for people to complain about others. People need to learn to let go of their grudges IMO. We could all talk about the shit that makes us angry and annoyed but how miserable would that be.

    I know internet forums are famous for people saying things they wouldnt normally say face to face and we cant really stop that but I would support the idea of some set of guidelines being implemented for memorial threads. Or better still people could just learn to forgive and move on.

    Thanks for the feedback everyone :) I forgot to mention that numbers 3 and 9 were taken by my road trip buddy

    None of these photos have been edited in any way besides trimming the edges of a couple.

    Im not sure what the flower is but I probably have a picture of the plant somewhere. Its just a common succulent. Ill see if I can find a pic.

    Alice, yeah im pretty happy with this camera. There are times where I would like to have a bigger zoom but getting good quality photos from something that's so small is pretty handy.

    Photo 3 had stuff on the sides that I wanted to cut out so thats why is so small. I only have good old ms paint to do this with so i went the easiest way (resize first then trim) which made it so small.

    Credit has to also be given to the impressiveness of Australian landscapes and lifeforms. The thorny devil was one of the coolest things ive seen IRL
