Will Rekowski aka Gomaos has died.

RIP Will Thanks for the generosity and sharing your love of plants
  2. Most pictures of ones that people eat seem significantly larger than the regular pet shop ones. So i assume there is a breed that is better for eating rather than the little hand sized ones

    Miracle Fruit Leaf cutting

Very cool, thanks for sharing Can you say how long the leaf took to make that shoot? Did you mean you just sat them in plain water, no soil or anything?

    Bed wetting in children?

One of my nephews who is 10 is still regularly wetting the bed. This has ran in the fathers family with all the boys having some degree of problem with it. Its pretty rough being that age and still doing it as it stops him from going to friends houses overnight and things like that. So I ask does anyone have knowledge about this and what methods may help? I have read so many different ideas that its hard to know really whats going on. Ive read that it could be caused by food allergies, urinary tract infections, simple a weak bladder, sleeping so deeply that they dont wake up to pee, psychological problems and others that I cant think of. I guess trying various methods in an elimination process could work it out but I thought maybe someone here could either confirm or debunk some of the commonly talked about ideas. Lots of people seems to just wait for their children to outgrow it but that seems kinda cruel. Any help muchly appreciated

    Bed wetting in children?

Thanks everyone. Its cool to see all the different angles people have I know the boy drinks a fair amount of fizzy drink and sweet snacks so that could add to it. I cant remember 100% if he was actually diagnosed with ADHD but will looking into vasopressin either way. Ill pass all the information on and if something works out ill update the thread. Thanks again

    Bed wetting in children?

Thanks for the replies. Ill have to find out exactly what has been tried but i know stopping liquids and going to the toilet before bed has been tried (but maybe not the forced piss like you mentioned chnt) and i think waking him up during sleep has also been tried. I cant say if they have talked to a GP. Though it is a rural town where doctors arent of the greatest quality. Ill pass on the info about the alarm. Its interesting you mentioned ADHD, the docs suggested ADHD medicine for him when he was a bit younger but the mother chose not to go down that path. Something to look into Thanks again everyone. If anyone else has info im all ears, even if its contradicting to anything stated here

    best cacti/succulent ground covers?

Aptenia will climb up cacti and totally cover smaller ones so you have to be a bit careful and pull it back from time to time.

    Coleus blumei

Most of what you are selling on your site as psychoactive botanicals would not come close to doing this so why do you have the same expectation from Coleus?
  14. ^^ Not sure if thats the best idea on a public forum. People that are interested in the mass ringbarking of trees can read too

    which came first?

I think its dangerous ground when you start to compare your intelligence or whatever against others. Its not uncommon that frequent trippers see themselves as smarter or in someway elite to society. This often seems to be a result of the use pf psychs rather than an actual higher intelligence. Having said that there is also people you meet that consider psychs to have opened up their learning processes and increased their intelligence without a bulging ego. The other side is that there are lots of people that eat handfuls of these things and are still total knob heads without any thoughts of compassion or concern for others. These substances can give you insight into many things that you may not have otherwise considered but they also dont automatically raise you above society as a whole. Could it be that you see other trippers as smart because you relate to, or share their ideas more easily? Or maybe you are just lucky and have a brainy bunch of friends. I do think these things can raise intelligence if used with the intention of improving intelligence

    Messed up sleep

The last 6 months I have been working a job that requires me to get up at 5.30 when its still dark or just as the sun pops its head over the horizon. Because of this I have become very used to waking up when there is any light so it makes it really hard to sleep in on the weekends and catch up on sleep. Even if I go to sleep an hour earlier during the week I just seem to wake up an hour earlier. And weekends usually I go to sleep later than normal but still wake up at first light. So my question is what methods do people use to catch up on sleep and sleep out of their regular routine? I have no trouble going to sleep its just staying asleep that is hard. If I take opi ates or long lasting benz i can sleep for ages but its not a very sustainable method. My room is as dark as possible without completely blocking windows. House is quite and I am rarely woken up by noisy housemates etc.

    Chili Peppers

yeah there is a decent amount of reports from people eating super hots and spewing, losing taste for days and allergic reactions. People seem to not believe it just because its a natural plant

    Messed up sleep

Thanks for the replies. It seems that for most people the sleep issues is the going to sleep part whereas im the other way around. i had previously looked at sleep hygiene info but that too seems to be directed at not being able to go to sleep. My lifestyle already covers most of the sleep hygiene suggestions. They main one it doesnt is the only using your bed for sleep and sex. I live in a share house so my computer is in my room and i also watch stuff from my computer while im in my bed. This has never been a problem for me in the past so im not sure about that one. Besides I dont have an option to put my computer somewhere else ATM. I guess the best thing to do is to just make sure i go to sleep early enough so i get 8ish hours. Though that becomes very difficult when, as paradox said, life does not revolve around work. I dont have any tryptophan but will get around to trying that to see if it works.

It just look dehydrated to me. The black doesnt look like the evil black rot. Try to keep it in the sun and it should be fine. Ive had all sorts of colours on my cuts and they nearly always pull through. i dont know what temp you have over there but I dont water mine or fertilise at all at this time of year. Id wait till it swells back up and active growth is starting

    Queensland Blue Squash heat tolerant?

My family grows various pumpkins (QLD blue, jap, butternut) in western NSW which gets to 45 most years. They grow in full sun with little water compared to the other veges. They are stored on wire racks under the porch (probably gets as hot as outside temps) and they keep for 6 months easy and often longer. I remember there still being good eating ones when the next season seeds were being planted. I never ate the leaves so cant comment on that but from memory the jap always performed better and kept longer but i would have to confirm this. The butternuts were the worst performers in those conditions but still worth it considering the minal effort needed.
