  1. just to clear up things, surly I meant the word nigga in a good context! :)

I liked how he used this word, compared to other artists, as it's still powerfull, but somehow, not as much into your face, as with other singers.

although he used it often, it didn't feel to me like he used it to, get attention or strength for the lyrics.

halif, if I were you, I would be so proud of myself, that dali corroberated with you!

I think music is still the most powerfull tool on the forefront of the struggle to cast aside, questions of color, political views, religious views, hierarchy and sexuall preferances.

  2. just a quick one...

this "invention" is a movable irrigation system, which takes, 30sec to build, but can solve some issues we face everyday in our gardens.

    "the bucket irrigator"

drill a small hole into a bucket or container, and place it close to your plant which needs water, than fill up with water.

    post-70-0-95602300-1380847689_thumb.jpg

the problem with ordinary watering can be that a lot of the water will just run off, and if you want to avoid this from happening, one has to water often, but in small amounts.

the bucket irrigator solves this problem!

to be the most effective, water the area to be irrigated, a while before, and than place the bucket irrigator, into the spot you want watered. this will minimize runoff and maximise absorbtion.

  4. for the agents 86 the likes of Maxwell smart (I am one of them) here is what he said at the news forum (I double post this here, as some people might not read the news section, and I don't want to lose them because of this):

    http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=36566

    tort, our admin said:

This is primarily an ethnobotany forum which means climate or location are essential for other members to put your contributions and questions into context. From our posting rules:

    6) Provide a valid and accurate climate, or a location from which climate can be deduced.

Anyone failing to do so will risk being deleted. without warning.

You do not need to divulge anything that identifies where you live. You can simply use australian or USDA zones with rainfall. There are a number of threads explaining this in detail

  5. the guy in the link, seems to know his stuff, but I wonder how, it doesn't cause problems, to leave the peres stump on the arios...

in my experience the peres will rot and can kill even the scion.

as well, that guy grows them too fast maybe, and that's why he claims peres is only good for 2 years, when in fact peres can last for 10 or more years.

goonthen gave good advice and a good link!

so, recut the peres, and re root.

take off pup and graft onto pedro.

if pedro graft fails, you can either try again, or re root the pup on own roots.

  6. here is an other one...

I feel sick, if people say, peoples, and it seems to get more common, specialy with the trivial people of channel 7 and American news casts.

btw, I might be featured in ch 7 local (Capricornia) news 18 00, in a report about the giant aircraft, antonov...

  7. slightly yellow, means the vendor gave you a crappy leaf.

complain to him, and ask for a replacement, which is deep green, very succulent, and "fat"!

i have no doubts believing, he gave you a leaf from the bottom of the plant, or even a fallen one.

those can still root, but are crap compared to leaves, taken from 1/3 down from the growing tip.

  8. whoami :

    then they should buy them

fuck freebers , fuck them those who come here only to get free plants - oh and fuck you.

hey whoami, this is a peaceful community, strangly it's tolerating with me. Troll me if you (can) want so much some fucking action and let PH alone.

Hey PH, nice plants mate, sad you had to have them go....

    thx 4 your support mutant.

let me add a few things:

I am convinced my two trolls (or 3 if you want to include the guy who trolled me by calling me a troll,... forgot his unimportant name already) have a bit a personality disorder, so I hope that one time they get on top of there disorders.

there is a troll in all of us, but for non trolling people, this part of our personalities, stays mostly in the back round...

I am convinced to know who my youtube troll is (IT'S NOT WHOAMI!!), because the writing style matches, with who I think it is.

I have never done this person wrong, and others agreed with this statement, but he now stalks me on the net, 1 year after, he fucked up!!! I pitty you, and I know you still read here @ sab.

a strong dose of aya could fix those troll's up! :)

feelings of anger and hate, will only bring you a life of misery. I know the troll, has shady characters as friends, and those people believe in revenge, but as said I have never done him wrong, this is all just in his head.

  9. I tend to believe the majority of people have the basic mental capacity to realise that the spiritual awakening that can be experienced from taking psychedelics, is just simply a chemical reaction within the brain and has no real higher purpose. It’s simply just one of many ways of obtaining a different perception of reality, which can clearly be enlightening. But like I said, taking it to seriously can create issues in vulnerable people.

Let me put it another way, the fact that you so confidently claimed that just ingesting a psychedelic substance gives you the power to tap into a higher power, indicates to me that you are an easily manipulated person. The type of person who could easily be brain washed and convinced into believing that blowing yourself up would give you a infinite bliss in heaven, if you where raised in a highly religious and war torn part of the world.

Imo, we’re just star waste that has evolved with an overwhelming ability to comprehend our own existence, yet we have not yet developed the tools to be able to explain it, so we just fill in the empty spaces with simple explanations, which really have no basis to the reality of it.

It’s actually really counter productive and short sighted if you think about it. Since when we just settle for simple fairy tale answers, it only holds us back from answering the real complex questions of which we all have the overwhelming desire to answer deep within ourselves.

Anyway, if you want my honest opinion (which you probably don’t, but anyway), we are just the beginning of the story. We are the ancestors of God like entities, which will have an infinite existence and will be able to manipulate there reality in whatever way they choose and have full control over the universe of which we inhabit.

this post comes across to me that, there are two opposing forces active inside you.

now all of us have those, but for most of us, we have a single direction we like more.

I say this because, stating on one hand that, halus have no deeper meaning, for me clashes with your believe that our ancestors were higher beings.

I believe you are a person who, comes back from a dmt trip, and than exclaims, so what, nothing really happened.

for me even if it feels, you contacted outside forces, or become god for a while, or have an audience with god, I still don't believ it was really god or what ever, but I still learn an awefull lot of it, and become a better person from it.

and I know that the god concept arose from drug and non drug induced halucinations.

but it's true for some people halus don't seem to make any difference, whilst most people improofe there lifes after taking halus, some people just continue to live there lives as they have done before. my heart goes out to those people, and I think you are one of them.

  10. I start on working, on a cactus man project right away tomorrow, if I have your blessing.

    what a brilliant idea.

I am such a boring old fart, that I noticed, i started saying the same things again and again, I hope I haven't said this to you.

you art is really good, and although the topic of those pictures is quite removed from, the human image (maybe the cactus man is a small exeption), one can detect, your (the artist) spirit, soul and being in those paintings.

I can't draw well, but I spent a lot of time in schools which featured many different drawing lessons, including technical drawings.

my coolest art teacher, for example knew, that I only liked to draw plants, and nothing else.

and guess what, he was such an alternative guy (although he was quite old), and he said, just draw plants than...

anyway, with all what I have learned of my masters and mentors, I think you could even improofe your art by,

drawing much faster at times, using strange new media (like chopstick painting), research what fracture means (improofe you fracture), and don't try to think when painting.

this is all meant well, and I hope you are not taken back, by those remarks.

you are talented, and could produce work that sells, I think you did those nice carvings as well, didn't you?

I picked up some old ebony from vinnis, I will send it to you, with some cow bone, in case you want it...

  11. 1, this thread, hopefully will get torts attention, and he could than inform us of, all the copyright issues, the admin right and so on.

2, my aim is not to create a mirror site, or to work on taking over the forum.

3, I know we are in good hands with tort, and his aim is to keep it going, and I remember how he proudly mentioned once, "sab is the second oldest ethno site on the web".

4, all I want to save guard for is, if new owners of sab, would give up on the forum (tort would never give up the forum me thinks)that we can keep it still running.

5, I don't know about the financial cost of the forum, but I am confident, this money could be raised.

all I say is, I can't imagen life without sab, and I have seen two forum die already. :(

handing on the knowledge is paramount in our aim.

  12. shameless, self promoting bump! :)

today, I feel, I got the biggest compliment possible, somebody told me, my song turned into an earworm for her! :)

this made we very happy, and i'm still riding the happy wave right now.

as well I know now who trolled me at youtube, so everything is primo.

I ask you though, in case you have an account which works at youtube to give me a thumbs up, and if you have the time, a short positive comment, as currently the troll is still, creating a bad impression, at this page, which I don't deserve.

I have done nothing wrong to this person, he just simply did blame me for his own mistakes, and now he even stalks me, so he can abuse me more.

if you read this "troll", I have no hard feelings against you anymore, I hope you will find peace in life soon.

  13. how did you wright the caption under the edit

most of the time you edit a post, a field comes up at the bottom, asking you, "reason for editing",

and what ever you write down in there, comes up as you see it.

the field shows up once you click edit.

but if you click full editor right away afterwards, you wasted your chance, as ther will be no such field using full editor.

if you want to use this field and you are in need of the full editor, you have to >click edit> than change the post >click save> than edit again>click full editor> change title or add pics > click save

more "small diy inventions", regarding gardening to come! :)

  14. watertrade & snowfella, you guy's are awesome cameramen!

looking at your pics, I will try even harder in the future, to get good pic's.

did you use an artificial light source?

next time shopping, I buy various pieces of fabric, so I got better backround.

apart from that, I want to experiment with polarised light, sidetrack over.

  15. Since yesterday Cheridopsis candidissima gives me the best effect out of all the mesembs, i'll write a report up tonight when I have time. Stinks terribly but has this amazing salty flavour also, could be used as a spice.

I only know sceletium, but it too has this salty flavour, thank god somebody mentioned this detail.

my guess is, if it stinks, it's good!

I once made a batch of sceletium, and it smelled like cheese, does your have a bit a cheesy scent?
