im a chili lover too. long time ago i was amazed to find out that chilies are perenial even in canada or europe. same with physalis peruviana, just overwinters easy in a cellar, even without much light. this means no need for spring sowing. and waiting, till flowers emerge (so late till its allmost too late in the year anyway for fruiting)but fruits early summer allready. i remove most seeds if cooking for others... once i had a true chili expierience it felt like i was charged and i managed some of my wildest f***s whilst being on the chili high. some even mix chili in there mull mix. i naturaly love paprika the mild form, its for the beginners and allthough from suoth america its now called hungarian paprika, yummy stuff, said to aid protein digestion and anti clotting?

i can give you ephedra major and nevandensis but i want an arm and a leg for it... got sinensis aswell all risen from sab stock -------------------------------------------------- than i thought- wau this is better than anything...

hi, all two q: 1st, what (hopefully native)salvia is the one that grows at mt.warning and even a most of byron shires creeks...(took pics, but now have to wait) salvia ? dorias? got velvet, fury surface, minute blue flowers,some have a nice scent, bla,bla...square stem. 2 nd, because you talk natives here: once in central europe i grew some ozi solani seeds called something like solanum sodomgomorensis, it looked like a thornapple, a rather uninviting fruit to eat, protected with spikes everywhere. spikes to protect what for i reasoned, hmm... to protect the goodies and to safeguard from inproper use. the natives used solanis to abort... so the second latin name "the hint" tells me: either used as contraceptive or makes horny as goats. who knows? ------------------------------------------------- give this man a new, he deserves it!

the plant is erythrina spp. in english coral tree! and i allways wondered why its so popular in sa. my innervoice tells me this is the stuff all those brujos are on.a ozy native form excists. mostly though the use is strictly ornamental/religious. why its so common is easy explained: its in abandunce there. excuse me freudian/jung thing again, but they just like it there (in south america) because it looks like a phimotic penis or/and like a virgin vagina...

hi, all! thx to the white album i knew how to writte hapiness! torsten, you did well by sharing some of your seeds with me. i bet you knew allready 4 month ago allready that i (strikes eye brow with index finger)would succeed. in case that others out there have been /or are less successfull with these one, i say i did "things" to it. aswell i am greatfull to my late mother, green thumbs are genetic, and she tought me to be patient with seeds requiering long periods of stratification. her "thing" was growing ginko biloba from seed! that means chilling and a wait of up to 2 years! on the 14.09.02 i planted those seeds and on the 15.01.03 they emerged! surely by now you know what i am talking about. right away as a standard measurment i snail guarded those little beauties, nothing worse than after having overcome dormancy to see ones plantlets ending up as snailfood... bla, bla, bla, what am im talking about? ilex paraguariensis! others out there, pls tell me your mate story!

people told me that real coca leaves are still used for manufactoring cola, worse even they said the cocain taken out of those leaves is good pocket money for them(its sold elsewere). amatil dont kill me! but true they never use spp. coca, no only novogranatense!

good to hear we are still friends! i recieved a parcel that way and it was "say" 50% succsessfull. i am just very longterm sensitive! (is it against forum rules to call myselfe names?) i got it out now, this minute circumstance happening at eb 1. but i hate it when people lough at my expense, specialy if i try to help them. i respect you big times, just do the same! got no interrest in causing trouble!

lophs fruits are called chilitos (little chilis)and having many different gens certainly helps producing seeds(3 up to 4 in one red berry) lops are producing seeds and halus even if grown in canada or europe. so no reason to say it will not work!

g what you think of the one drop in the eye methode? i mean like cleopatras atropa but using brugs?
