  1. Most probably possible depending on the state of the person etc- so many possibilities that I would like to explore there. For examples one can make the other give the person a keyword to regress to that psychedelic state at any time, or could make time seem longer for the person under the influence etc so much should do a brainstorming session some time and come up with some exercises to try ha ha
  2. Its true that hypnosis can be viewed in everyday life as its just stated by Mescalito. We are in differing states of trance all the time and hypnosis is basically another trance state - a deep state of relaxation as seen when we travel a regularly traveled path and on arrival wonder 'How we got here' or when we are looking for a pen that is sitting right in front of us (negative hallucination). Everyone can be hypnotised and as mescalito stated previously, everyone has been hypnotised (hypnosis is that state just before you wake up and go to sleep - where you are aware of things but not really there) People should have a look at the work of Milton Erikson who really developed modern hypnosis and has some really good works out.
  3. I agree educate, I also love NLP and that fact that one can achieve and help others achieve totally different outcomes through the changing of a few words, phrases, and tones etc pretty cool stuff. I'd like to take a look at that torrent but unfortunately my internet is pretty shit at the moment until I upgrade.

    Comedians?

Yeah Hedburg is classic goes without saying. Also like chappelle, old Eddie Murphy etc. Good comedy singer is Stephen Lynch, also really like Ricky Gervais and recently heard some stuff from Louis C K on youtube that was decent - search 'bag of dicks' and the like. Have recently been attending a local comedy night at a pub nearby and the headline last week was Simon Simons? apparently he had a abc show and was/is a host on triple J - seemed really experimental and was absolutely hilarious
  5. Sounds cool, I haven't read it is it a book or pdf?
  6. Yes Derren Brown combines a mixture of hypnosis, magic and mentalism for great effect. Most of the things he does I've seen are developed on hypnosis theories and routines etc. Derren Brown actually has a few books out and if you search around online, you can find a few PDF's of his books and explanations of some of his routines and stuff which are good, but unless you understand the basics of hypnosis and what it is it will probably pretty hard to learn so I suggest going to the library (Initailly reading some actual books will give you an understanding of hypnosis which will help you weed through alot of the shit on the internet to find the good stuff) or looking online. I found a PDF called 'Hypnosis for beginngers' online which was pretty good and gave some basic exercises etc. Also even if this is just for use with mates and stuff have a look at the other applications and history of hypnosis as it will help you open your eyes to the possibilities of what is possible with it. And remember the most important fact: Absolute confidence is the most important ingredient!
  7. G*P mentioned NLP - yay! Has anyone ever combined massage and hypnosis? (Im going to make an assumption that people are already in a near hypnotic state i.e. trance due to regular massage) so it wouldn't be hard to guide them into desired scenarios i.e. relaxing special place or to see visuals according to massage, to give them keywords for instant relaxation the next time they came in or additional healing by aid of hypnosis etc possibilities are endless
  8. Yeah I have always had a keen interest in animation and wanted to be a professional model maker for a long time still do! Love Ardman and what they did for claymation and animation but really animation of all types. I am a pretty big anime fan - love the complex layers they can have and the skill and work involved.
  9. I have a fair interest in design and creativity and love to see little bits and pieces that people design and build etc just general creativity. So I think you guys should post some of your works be it a creative way of fixing something, to a piece of furniture you crafted to the house you built ..... Ill get the ball rolling: I am attending TAFE at the moment and needed a bag for my studies etc. I wanted something different and unique and as I pondered this problem my eyes wandered to the carton of coronas in my room... the results are as follows:
  10. Cheers mate, love to see other people's creativity and talent, so you should shuck some stuff up

    Original Drawing Thread

I thought I would contribute. This pics I'm putting up are mostly old ones I did, and I'm still experimenting with styles and mediums. I find alot of inspiration in magazines and will see a picture I like that I feel captures something and draw it - I want to kinda soon find a style that I feel comfortable with and start experimenting alot more. Saw this chick in a magazine and wanted to kinda simplify her into highlights etc - I hate drawing faces something I'm working on lol I am quite a fan of tattoo art and felt inspired so tried to draw a dragon. Saw this in a magazine, it is an arm. Inspiration below as it is a weird position. meh just a doodle A shirt pattern I drew up for a comp - not really my style but I like tessellating patterns Doodle
  12. Yeah man pics are looking the tits, heaps love the guy next to beardface just lying there chilling - just really like the simplicity of his face both comical and human yet alien-like!
  13. Yeah corona bag is still going strong surprisingly - I really love recycling cardboard I think it's such an underestimated material. It's got a fair few scratches and a minor tear but considering it's been through rain, variety of other elements and my student life it's doing great. Oh and that last photo is like at 1 at night -really strange sky, I think it was night after dust storm in Sydney so that may have something to do with it?

    See what I see

Stunning photographs, I only hope that I can be as good as you one day
  16. I remember I had these from not long ago. These are a variety of shots taken whilst UrbEx (urban exploring - finding abandoned places, infiltrating new places - basically exploring our cityscapes etc). Some of the shots are from an derelict church, an abandoned motel, an old beer factory and a few other joints. Im new to photography and only have a small digital camera (not blaming camera though) so my shots aren't anything spectacular. Me and some mates on top of the world - that place I was eyeing off for ages and is prob bout 9 stories high a really beautiful view of the city too - too bad our cameras couldn't handle a night shot and im transparent for some reason?
  17. I think i replied on thread but unsure if it worked? anyways I was saying that in that hypnosis ebook I sent you (I think I did) there is a section on Chakras it just gives kinda basic explanation and then goes into his experience with working with them on his girlfriend, I'm not sure if I believe or have an understanding of them but Kept an open mind and it was really quite interesting - you should take a look when your not being Big Mr. Traveller. Did you really get to go to the morgue? mad as tits
