Doesn't this defeat the purpose though. Why not just use very small stock height wise to begin with and bury it as stated above. Otherwise doing this isn't it likely to detach itself eventually anyway except this time it will be in the soil where you wont notice or be able to trat the rot? just a theory.

How can i tell you how much to put in when you havent told me what the specifications of the fertiliser are? I suggested to aim around halfway between the misting and medium level watering dose initially for watering and maybe 3/4 foliar strength. That is as accurate as i can give on that point without seeing the product specifications, even then i wouldn't really know hence i am offering advice on the strengths of other nutrients i personally used. This is meant to be as a comparison. I am saying i use x amount of miracle grow compared to y which is the amount it says on the label. This should at least help to give you an idea of what it can tolerate. My plants are likely able to redily absorb more nutrients too as they are in more ideal conditions most of the time. For a 50ml bottle i would use 1/20th of a small measuring cup (the ones they provide you with)of miracle grow. A 1L sprayer would be much easier to measure an accurate amount into as well. When making 50ml at a time its very easy to go dramatically over or under as it only requires a few specks on fertiliser. edit: edited capsule out and put measuring cup(provided) in which makes much more sense.

I keep my psychotrias in my hot house, which is now getting to much sun and getting shit hot. but plenty of humidity. Powerfeed is the miracle gro stuff isnt it? i use that(around 3/4 strength) and gogojuice myself. Maybe fortnightly they get a good soaking until water is gushing out the bottoms with this feed. I foliar spray inside the hothouse 2-3 times daily the morning and midday ones are plain water maybe some seasol(1l sprayer does the whole hot house nicely) and later in the day some season with trace amounts of powerfeed(half a little scoop) They just keep going beserk so i assume they like it, You will know if they get too much feed the leaves will start going all mutated and curled up. Back it off a bit at this point. What your psychotria would want is down to how vigorously its growing, how frequently you are watering, current weather and what sort of soil it is in. Its the same with growing cannabis, start low and let the plants tell you what they need. My nexus that have been put into a quality potting mix are growing incedibly fast. I think that if you continue to pot them out as they fill their pots they pretty much dont need nutes, but if you are hoping to keep them in the smaller pots you would probably want to water weekly with nutes and foliar spray with seasol and nutes every afternoon. As they won't be able to get much from a pot of that size, especially enough to sustain them through the growth season. The folar spray is the best thing for helping them grow! what are the ratios that it reccomends for those different plant types? Maybe start halfway between thr foliar mixture and the herbs one for your watering and use the foliar mix to do your foliar sprays. This is only a guess based on roughly the ratios i use of other nutes on mine. edit: one more quick tip, most people who think their psychotrias are dead can actually save them quite easily. If there is any green left in the stems whatsoever cut it right back down to the green and put it inside a very humid area and it will throw new leaves from the nodes and suckers. If you look closely at the nodes of old broken/dead branches you will see the tiny new leaves waiting for their chance to burst forth. I mean it grows from leaf cuttings! And with minimal care at that i have been progressively more lazy with my leaf cuttings and now just chuck them into a clip lock bag witha cm of water in the bottom no paper towel or anything and they still root very well. Or rammed in soil inside the hothouse. they shrivel and keel over for a week or two, look like they are going to die and then just as im about to throw them out i see signs of life :D

If you dont mind being a bit out of the city look around clevelnad, Russel island etc it is maybe half hour-1hr from the city. Trains link the two quite frequently. Much smaller community, and much less full on busy. prices go right down to $100 a week or less on the island.

it is possible. The bottom three are of the same plant. It may also have been an acid burn or something as i think my kids gave them a spray one time with the nutrient bottle. I will let it go and see what happens as time goes on. It stayed dormant with just the two 'hairs' poking out the top initially, then after a week or two these lifted up to reveal the bulge underneath, i would have expected that if it was a pup it would have grown out the side of these hairs rather than right under them though. So exciting i will just have to wait and see i guess. Needless to say i hope i am hoping for something strange. And three in particular have taken my interest as they are approximately 4 times the size of the rest, and also far more well established root systems. A bit off topic but wondering if using a more vigorous stock for grafting would make for more vigorous growth of the scion ? i.e. i wonder if a psycho0, or extremely vigorous hybrid could offer faster growth of a scion than a regular pach? So i grew around 100 ss02 x bridgesii seedlings out and ended up with around 40 left after some foolish descisions. I have ended up with this little cutie looking quite a bit different to the rest. It has formed a little globe on the top with spines coming out any which way whereas the rest have continued to grow in a columnar fashion from the get go. I will attach pics of a regular one and the freak for you to chec out. By the way the dome is swelling i am hoping it might actually crest or something as it isn't growing up but rather out or else maybe it got damaged on the tip or something? hoping one of the members on here might be able to help me figure it out. 5-HTP and b6 will help you to alleviate the symptoms of the 'Brainfriedness' but will not actually cure it as such. As the serotonin tolerance is temporary, low dose 5-HTP and B6 should keep you feeling at a relatively normal level, and tapering off the dose may theoretically leave your serotonin receptors without the tolerance, and your brain producing ideal amounts of serotonin on its own(not needing the 5-HTP) Essentially this would purely be masking the symptoms and hoping your body fixes itself underneath. I met Monica briefly at mardigrass this year just gone, seemed to be a genuine soul, i hope it wasn't a facade. If people are worried about your anonymity you can use a proxy to do the survey. I really do hope that you, monica, are actually working in an unbiased approach as you stated to us. As you say there are so many people using and growing for legitimate reasons. Mainly to avoid dealing with organised crime groups to get their medicine. I hope that your research, particularly this survey, will be able to demonstrate this to the wider community. It says to spray onto leafy plants for treatments of fungus and so forth. I had never planned to actually use it with water on my cacti as it seems stupid to spray water on it lol. The powder in mine is much finer than the granules in the other though so it would probs be a better option for future purchases in bunnings. I sprinkled some dry over a few of my cacti to see if there are any negative effects but as far as i can see it is just sulphur with 200mg/g of filler in there. I had originally bought it as i thought wettable meant i would be able to spray it and it wouldn't wash off easily, next time i am spending the money on something like this i may actually read the bottle. Either way i am sure it should work as a dusting sulphur it is the same consistency. note: After comparing ingredients with other sulphurs on the market it appears to be fine. We shall wait and see how the dusted cacti turn out. good to know about the tomato dust the only thing i thought may be an issue is that the other ingredients could possibly be harmful. The trouble is that they market so many products for specific purposes that its hard to know if it will work for me. Like most of the sulphurs have information on application to tomatoes and veggies which is obviously not going to help me.

Good question, some people would do anything for a buck, although killing off your clients doesn't seem like the mot effective way to go about it. iI gopt the same brand from bunnings the other day but it is slightly different and was going t o ask the same thing. Mine is the wettable sulphur 800g/kg Sulphur. also this seems to be in dust form not granules. Would it be ok to just sprinkle this on or should it be sprayed as per instructions I also have tomato dust which could probs do the same job as it has the following in it (corrent me if i am wrong) 400g/kg Sulphur, 40g/kg Copper, 0.5g/kg Spinosad

Some of the people on those sites(4chan etc) are not bastards, but everyone who participated in the direct abuse in this case, are. Why? russel island has gone up something like 500% in the last few years. I worked up near there not long ago and my boss lives there. I am pretty sure in 5 years his value has gone up 650% on his house / land so you would want to get in there quick. The ferry back and forth is a pain but for te price it is something you could deal with. The best part is being a small island there is a community of people that are willing to help each other out etc. I often did plastering work up there for nothing but meals and a place to stay a few days.
