I have a 30cm mid cut which has started throwing roots from the base over the last week. I think i sold my last tip cutting not long back. though i would expect this cut to have a fresh pup within a month. Not too sure of a price send me a PM if your keen.

So i have had a couple of people express interest in joining me and a few other members for a casual lunch or something similar whilst i am visiting the Gold Coast. Not 100% sure on a location however there are plenty available both public and private. I know it is short notice and i don't expect people to try and make time for this but if you are free and want to catch up for a BBQ and swap meet let me know. Mine got attacked by bugs and have stayed at around 15-25cm tall. A bloom is opening today i will go take some photos.

Bastards, i can see how they 'justify' it, whilst not a true justification it works for them and thats all that matters in the governments eyes. hey stillman i thiink i got my chilli seeds off you originally a season or two ago now i accidentally dropped my seedling trays and they all got jumbled i could never ID this one can you please help out. It ripens red and has the appearance of a bell pepper kind of. Any suggestions?

cool good to know, yeah i found the choc habaneros to be a very high yield fruit and normally quite hot maybe i should dedicate more of my crop land to chillis. I have approximately 70 plants at the moment. Roughly 40 Choc habaneros and 30 yellow scotch bonnetts. Good to know there is a market that was all that was holding me back from growing large scale chillis was that i doubt i could sell enough locally. I will be oing heaps of onons etc as well so i should have all the ingredients for sauces hmoegrown Cool, the packaging looks great. I might send you a private message to get a bit of extra info out of you stillman. I have the space and just need the inside knowlege ;) After watching a show about the boutique crops around sunny coast i had to do something for myself.

hey all yay what a fun day was had. Glad that pretty much everyone could make it was a little unsure for a while there that maybe me and 2deep were going to be the only ones there Funny how i thought i had brought down aheap of goodies for trade and giveaway and yet i still feel like everyone else outdid me. Some nice new plants making their way into my garden and yours! Gem and Andy, was nice to meet you you are always welcome to stop off at my place on the way though for a bit of a breather. MAryborough may not have much else to visit but i am here Gollum, was great to see you there mate and even better to see you, like me coming out of your shell later in the day. The environment was just so welcoming i really felt for the first time in awhile like people actually understood what i was talking about and it was great to share knowlege and learn tips/tricks from each other. It wouldn't surprise me what a spin out that pretty much all of us knew some of the local nerang boys way back in the day. those cacti seedlings have gone to agood home cant wait to get them bigger! Stillman what type of chillis I have looked at growing large scale chillis but wondering if it is worth growing the unique cultivars or if i should just go for standard harbaneros etc and other high yield varieties.

Yeah sounds ok. so for a 1l bottle the measurements would be Ferns 1ml/L Trees 10ml/L I would stick right down the fern end of the scale as you have. And never go over say 3-5ml/L. My psychotrias get no nutes and go berko so just keep it low as you are and they should bless you for it with abundant growth.

Hey i actually found some seeds at a local ladies house when i went to pick up some brugs not long ago. but keep in touch. mine have just started growing again as well which is good. She calls all of her brugs Datura, i tried to correct her but she wouldn't have a bar of it. PH do you mean they had already bread a purple brugmansia :'( that was going to be my dream to attempt PH altering on a brug flower to pollenate with a D. Metel and vice versa but if someone else has already it defeats the purpose :'( oh wait no i get it you mean that people are confusing it due to their impropper naming. In that case full steam ahead with breeding a purple brug

As far as i am aware you need to apply for the certification for a specific site and specific plants. You need to have a few things including a list of the plants you intend to remove, as well as those you would like to take cuttings and seeds from. There is a limit to the amount of plants, seeds and cuttings you can take per month i believe however i think that in the case of salvage this may be a bit flexible. Better hope you have your commercial harvesting of protected plants certification. As far as i am aware you wrent able to grow and sell Xanthorrhoea will likely require this. As they are natives, however getting this certification and getting natives tagged is a great way to make money. Also rather than seeds another way to make good money quick is to loo karound your local area for large developments of housing estates. Have a search through the bushland on the site and log any natives that are of interest (gingers, grass trees, acacias etc. Then apply for your commercial harvesting licence as a plants 'salvager' you can then go through the area and dig ou, take cuttings or harvest virtually anything you want. On the gold coast near the new hospital i think they got something like 135 grass trees from in there. Another one is rather than stealing frangipanis put up aflyer offering free garden maintenance and tidy ups. Prune the shit out of any valuables such as agaves and the like take them home and plant them. For a days work you can often get a few hundred new plants.
