  1. That is a fantastic sight! Beautiful collection. Never think about laying cuttings down like that to root, but it's not a bad idea. With the way they've all just rooted at one end, you could cut the majority of the original cutting away to root separate without affecting the offsets and then eventually bury the remaining piece so that it doesn't even look like the plant was grown from a cutting.

    That Cereus peruvianus monstrose is a bit of a beast.

    It's a variegated J1 open pollination seedling. It wasn't that colour when I grafted it and I doubt the colour will persist. Not the best graft unfortunately. Others that were grafted at the same time have grown much more. Would have been a month or two old.
