    Just the motivation I needed

I have been working in the homelessness sector for the better part of a decade after myself having been on & off the streets from age 13 to 18. However, despite my previous devotion to the cause I have found myself for the last 6 months or so planning my exit from the industry due to the lack of success story's these past couple of years. The whole job was starting to feel like an exercise in futility. But after seeing this documentary I have remembered why my job used to hold so much importance to me & I have a renewed sense of purpose in my chosen field. Please watch in it's entirety. Here's part 1:

    The Corroboree top 100

This is a young local Cairns metal band called Cold Hand of Malice that I have booked for several community concerts & seeing as I'm a fan of heavy music I thought I might advocate on their behalf. Pretty damn technical for a bunch of high school students.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-S8mHIFY3TE I'll leave it there. These songs are kind of bleak but that is my theme for the day. Peace.

    Climate Scientists Recieve Death Threats

George Carlin didn't need understanding of the scale of the problem he had true insight & a wisdom that is far beyond the reach of most human beings. Now here's some more insight & wisdom from my boy Doug Stanhope. I'm out.

    Climate Scientists Recieve Death Threats

Just think of the term opening the flood gate & meditate on it for a while. Political leaders are masters of manipulation. Hell even Jim Jones was able to convince nearly 1000 people he was on to a good idea. If people truly want to reduce emissions then people need to take it upon themselves to curb over breeding. It's overpopulation that fuels big industry & keeps our roads bumper to bumper with motor vehicles. All scientific evidence points to overpopulation as the main cause of climate change but I don't see anyone putting up their hand to pay a fucking tax. Because people only want what serves themselves not what truly serves the masses. Climate Scientists Recieve Death Threats

I for one am having trouble accepting that so few people seem to have identified that we live on a carbon based planet & all life that dwells upon it is also carbon based. Therefore a tax on carbon is essentially a tax on existence. Carbon is not carbon Dioxide or carbon monoxide. Carbon is carbon. People keep making the arguments that taxes are bad & pollution is bad, but a sneaky backdoor tax on people just for being alive is ideally the sort of event that could very well usher in "1984" or a situation very similar & should not have any support whatsoever. Just think of the term opening the flood gate & meditate on it for a while. Find another solution & support that! Please

If you are one of the few people like myself that can understand metal vocals then listen to these lyrics closely. Beautifully articulated.

    Positive trade list

I too think that this is the best way to do things. Basically what I was suggesting several posts back. I just wish I opened this whole damn thing with that as my first suggestion. But you know how it is every idea is the best one you've ever had when you're a number of beers deep.

    Positive trade list

Some good points there Santiago. Would it be possible for a moderator to move this to site & forum matters where this can be an open discussion rather than a work in practice? Maybe a trade status option attached to peoples files?

    Positive trade list

I get where your coming from Santiago but I'm failing to see how this list would have a greater negative impact than people putting up their trade & sales lists & photos of their entheogenic gardens? I have put this list under Seed & Plant Exchange not Meth & Smack exchange. I, like every one else who uses these threads are rare plant collectors/gardeners. I believe that police interest would more than likely revolve around things like extraction teks & what not. Even as a non member & without this list I could easily work out which active members have the biggest collections (not a hard task). For now at least this is a perfectly legal hobby we'll see how things end up in the next 18 months though i guess. But until then I think the police will have a hard time convicting people for having a legal garden. This is not a list for people to view over & say to themselves "Hey, Joe Blogs shit is the bomb". The intention is meant to be that a person/s with high votes - do what they say, others have had smooth transactions with them & chances are your not going to get ripped off. Plus if someone decides to try & harass another member for a trade they haven't advertised or are not happy with.... #1 It's probably going to happen anyway regardless of this list. #2 It's just someone sending a message. Let them know your not interested or ignore them. Freedom of choice dude. If an annoying PM is the worst thing that will happen in a persons day then I truly, truly envy them.
