This comment was made made from my own experience. I had some ibogas in ceramic pots & some in plastic pots (identical soil mix). The ones I had in ceramic were growing like unhealthy dwarves compared to the ones in plastic. Once they were re-potted they shot up & started branching out like crazy. Yes they had large root systems but apart from that there was very little appealing about them until recently. When trying to grow mother plants your after branches for propagation, no? Anyway worked out well for ME. I have found that boggy soil is OK when the plant is in the ground but for some reason not OK for pots. IME of course.

Being in north queensland myself I can confidently say that it is a combination of the afore mentioned. i.e. the ridiculous amount of rain we have been getting &the poor drainage associated with many ceramic pots. I have recently had to re-pot my iboga's into plastic pots & get them under cover. Iboga needs lots of nutrients = too much water will wash a lot of the goodies from your soil & poor drainage will drown the damn thing. I also find that dynamic lifter pellets are pretty handy when the monsoonal weather comes along (doesn't seem to deplete as fast IME). Happy planting Muskrat

You should tell you friend to give some serious thought into taking Dr. Red natural cordials. Independent studies have proven that it can actually attack & destroy 4 different types of prostate cancer. Worth a shot to see how it goes with testicular cancer. Can't remember which one of his cordials it was but shouldn't be hard to find out with a little research. Also as with most treatments of any kind success usually lies in the timing. I can't believe that Dr Red isn't a household name yet. I remember watching a report on the initial independent studies & every university that tested it hailed it as a real potential cure for prostate cancer. Then all of a sudden no one was covering this any more. Hmmmm? Good Luck Mate Muskrat

Thought I might post a strange phenomenon that I have been experiencing lately. I recently purchased some cashew seeds from a vendor in India. After waiting a several months for them to arrive just as I had assumed that quarantine had confiscated them they turned up completely tamper free. I planted them immediately in the correct soil medium that they require & began the waiting game. After a fairly lengthy wait I had assumed that they were no longer viable & I was not going get any seedlings at all. Then last night I had a dream that I was watching them grow in time lapse footage. Got up this morning & about 70% of my seeds have sprouted. I had this very same experience a little while ago with some myrrh seeds also. Maybe not a phenomenon but cool none the less.

I have about 6 Cissus plants which I sourced from www.beautanicals.com.au & they are growing really well. Chances are pretty good that they would send one over if you asked. I don't think being in the post internationally would damage them. Kind of a weird woody/succulent type plant that can handle mistreatment well. Just not too sure about US customs & quarantine though. Peace Muskrat

Have You tried Cissus Quadrangularis? It has been excellent in assisting my shoulder injury. There is a bodybuilding product available called super cissus (concentrated extraction) which is presumably better than the straight herbal material that I have been using. Worth a look into. Good luck Muskrat

I currently have a bottle top sized loph. Williamsii for trade. I am after either: 2 rooted iboga cuttings or seedlings. OR 2 rooted Ilex Paraguayensis cuttings or seedlings. OR 2 ephedra geradiana plants OR 2 ephedra Sinensis plants Listed in order of preference. I have tried to add a picture but it won't upload for some reason. My computer skills are sub-par. It is very healthy but the humidity here is building & I am worried that it won't survive once summer is in full swing. The sooner someone further south or further inland claims it the better I think. If any interested parties want to see the photo. You can send me an email address & I can send it to you that way. Not sure why it won't upload here I have given up trying. Cheers Muskrat

Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm pretty certain that B. Caapi 'Peru' as being sold by herbalistics is the 'white' strain. -
