    posting in the wrong topic i suppose, but to all u sa peeps there. Second Valley R.I.P? as in there is no forest there at all now to find shrooms? damn! already had another post b4 but where would u (sa) guys recomend i go looking, also anyone find anything yet? it shrrom season yet? :) i'll probly go for a little hunt this saturday.

    Hey cheers for the responses guys. So the Hills would be a good place to go looking then?

    I hope we get an extra wet winter pretty soon. :)

    So the two species in South Oz i know of so far:

    Psilocybe subaeruginosa

    Panaeolus cyanescens

    Haha! A Chaser affair right, them guys were funny. On triple J now.

    Funniest thing though about the portrayal of people on the dole, was when, i think Today Tonight did a story on the underground dole army. Where they did some interviews (anonymous) with people that were claiming to have an organisation that helps people cheat the system and be dole bludgers and all of that. The whole thing was a hoax and them stupid nob-heads fell for it. Ah good times,

    ...of course they didn't mention it in their next show(s) so i'm sure half of australia believed it was authentic.

    Yeh a.. ermm.. a Friend of mine wants to go pick some mushrooms (Psilocybe subaeruginosa probably, or if there's other prominent species in the area, that'll be the go). SO he wants to know if it's mushroom season yet, or will it be soon-ish - in South Australia that is, and wheres a good spot if anyone knows, Kuitpo maybe? (I got NFI??)

    ..Anyway if someone can help just reply here or pm me.
