    Awesome!

    I recall hearing something that I figured could not be from my mind, and it had a very strange time signature, seeing those patterns makes more sense.

    I also remember making music with odd time signatures based on kabbalah formulas and that resulted in visual phenomena like tracers when I woke up having fallen asleep to it. I have no idea what that was all about though.

    I gotta say i absolutely love the vibe from the parties held here. very close community, you always see the regulars :) and it's great. Haven't been to a more mainstream 'doof' type party but from my experience the more mainstream something is, the more bogan nobs or metro sexual wankers with ego's rock up for the sake of rocking up. ..and yeah the vibe is just totally ruined, and as I am sure with many doofers, the optimal vibrations are required in their preffered, altered state of cosnciousness ;)

    With the smaller parties it's more of a word of mouth kind of thing and it's just the people that are in it for the love of it that keep coming back. And there's really nothing like having that shared moment where everyone is in this same space reacting to the same beat, everyone tranced out.

    We have not and never will support an earthcore event.. Whilst sometimes they may have acts that we would love to see, their approach towards promoting and the unscrupulous behaviour in relation to other parties/promoter makes me sick! If u want the Mcdonalds of doof&Rave then here it is in all its (not)glory..

    I implore people who love the australian psyscene to avoid supporting earthcore in any way shape or form...

    But then again if ur girlfriend shops at supre and u have no problem eating mcdonalds then go for it!!!

    That said im sure it is all there for people who are jsut starting to egt into doof or are into the more commercial mainstream aspects of it.

    MY stance and many others is mostly based on appreciation of events that are done for reasons other then money and pin dick superiority complexes...Not to mention that they have done more for the deterioration of 'doof' freedom in australia then any single other group of people...

    I'm curious why you hate earthcore so much? How have they helped in the deterioration of 'doof' freedom?

    I'm not supporting the event or any of that, I'm just curious what the issue is exactly? Just that whole mainstream - just in it for the money leeching - no soul - sorta aspect to it?

    haha seems we're all in the same boat. I've got another 2 years (possibly more) of uni before im fucking off from adealaide. I don't really have much of an idea about nnsw, only what i experienced from the camp trip, but it seems that anywhere up north there is a world with people moving and doing stuff, and shit actually happens.

    I guess I'll see you guys up there in a few years then.

    um.. Everywhere would be a good place to start. woodchipped areas, parks, carparks etc... I'm not a local though so I'm not sure. Would be best to make friends with locals and get to know the best spots that way. Or just keep your eyes peeled and I'm sure you'll be lucky anyway. Having said that, spots probably get raped pretty quick so get in there early.

    I guess if the question was about specific locations then my reply is worthless ;) hehe

    Ah what a lively discussion.

    On the point of deserving death. No living thing really deserves death, a life sentence as eternal punishment would do the trick. and none of this 'goodfellas' living in paradise crap.

    By killing someone you are a hypocrite if you disagree with their killing. It only lowers you. And we are better than that yes? We dont need blood on our hands.

    Also... while we're sentencing saddam, i believe rumsfield and bush snr, his accomplices to the use of chemical agents against his own people should be on trial there with him. Hehe um lets not forget that recent AWB bribe scandal, yep saddam had lots of buddies, all our governments are hypocrites and deserve the worst punishment together with saddam.

    Anyhow, I believe change starts at a local level, we need to organise the fuck up as a country and get it sorted... haha, um should be piece of piss yeah. I don't really agree with any of this fucking up of the shit of other countries by means of war and that (disguised as bringing democracy whilst reaping all the benefits... aint war fantastic!)

    War and any thing perceived as righteous killing (ie: capital punishment) sickens me. So anyone on an ideological mission quoting a holy book or science fiction novel (some hollywood cult ;) ) as justifications for their righteous murder... Won't have any of that!

    At the same time I respect peoples' religious beliefs obviously but don't give me no shit about how you have the right to kill, your own god would think less of you, fucktard.

    ...I guess this ends my rant. And we are left nowhere.

    I don't believe any one here has any mal-intent or wishes to offend anyone. We all have a common enemy here. Dictatorial governments of the entire globe including our own leaders. The only question is how to rid ourselves of these parasites leaching off our energy. By believing the bullshit of one pack of liars and killing innocents in another country that we don't really know/care about - well us aussies dont anyway.

    In comes the media pushing this hate-mongering and things dont get pretty. I don't believe in the acts of the Iranian govt. But I hate this bullshit farce our govt. does, turning a blind eye to every atrocity all over the world until it suits them economically/politically to invade a certain country. It's state terrorism, no question about it.

    too valuable for drug users yes.     I've always said 'sub-a-ri-jin-oh-sa' I dont know how latin works but in italian a g followed by an I makes a 'ji' sound. And I've been saying 'sill-oh-sy-bee' But then 'c' wouldn't be pronounced as 's' in latin i'm sure. I think most scientific names are appropriated into our way of speaking anyway. I mean all other foreign words are.

    I mean.. mount ko-zi-os-ko ... wtf is that? sorry my polish pride gettin the better of me :P

When you're afraid of 'illegals' sneaking in and stealing your jobs or worse, being terrorists then howards hardline policy is a sure ticket for winning the elections. Or if those artificially inflated property prices mean you got a nice big mortgage to pay then high interest rates are mighty scary. Next election howard will protect us from birdfllu or aliens or global warming, who knows. As long as he's got you scared he's got you by the balls and you believe what the fucker says.

    The only offensiveness comes from the Title 'dog food' had it been called 'powderised meat and garlic n stuff' would there have been any fuss? Then there is also the question of whether it is of a standard for human consumption. True the nz-er may eat it with her kids but it's possible the food would be harmful to kenyans who have a different diet. But really I don't know. If it's healthy then why the hell not. Don't let pride get in the way of surviving!

    Very interesting discussion. Here's a quick question, are these entities creations of our own minds or indeed something outside of our mind. Obviously it will be impossible to prove/disprove, but what are people's beliefs?

    I cannot really comment as i've never experienced outside entities. I've seen a transforming machine though (minus the elf part). Just another one of those 'how the fuck does my mind come up with that?' moments. Ah I could try to describe this but... y'know what, I gotta get down to animating this thing then I'll show you, I'll show you all!

    the plain fact is that ultra-microscopic theories do nothing to answer philosophical questions. what IS this MORONICISM that thinks the smaller one derives the BASIC element the more COGENT the result of consciousness?

    I can see no clarification in such exercises, only sophistication.

    Sure it doesn't fully explain consciousness or answer any philosophical question, i don't expect it to. It is however very fascinating that concepts can be stored in a single neuron and dont need a series of them. I had no idea the brain could work that way.

    Anyway here's a snippet from 'Scientific American, MIND : The Chaos of Consciousness' I can't find a date or issue number anywhere but it's on page 10

    Hey guys.

    About time I posted some of my reflections.

    it was fucking great! full stop, the end.

    It seems our group was cursed however, lots of badluck; from the weird hybrid killer ants attacking AndyAmide to Gomaos smashing his car window, me losing my phone and spilling a cup of precious brew all over my pants and other things like that. Then to top it off the car accident at the end. But these were all small doses of bad luck inbetween LARGE doses of fun and making friends and all that.

    About making friends. I may have been a bit introverted and depressed during the first few days. Im sorry if I bothered anybody but I think everyone had a great time. Just seemed that I didn't really have anything to add to such a large group really into their ethnobotanical discussions and whatnot (me = ethno-n00b). Having said that it was great fun to just listen. Planthelper you are the most animated funny guy i know! And you're not afraid to say what you're thinking and are very genuine. Gomaos, cheers for introducing me to jesus ;) Haha and just being a tops dude with unbelievable stories. Rev you're just a champ all together, Cheers for helping set up and everything else! Dodie, and everyone else who i only know by name (we dont use names here eh?), It's been great to meet you guys! really!

    That tuesday night, or was it the wed?.. the one with the christian folks. That night was truly something special. AndyAmide I need a copy of those tunes man!

    I think Amulte said something about this bad shit happening being a way to bring us closer together as friends. Now if this is the result of god fucking with us so we become closer friends... well that's a somewhat warped god. But I suppose it worked. I truly feel we've all bonded and are friends for life. I really look forward to meeting you all again.

    ergoamide - it was great to meet you too. I take it you had plenty of fun at the bdo as did I. We'll do it again next year if I'm up here again :D and You, come to the camp next time!
