bluemeanie, i just did a little search for Baeocystin on Erowid and found http://www.erowid.org/plants/mushrooms/mus...hemistry1.shtml which says "Baeocystin and norbaeocystin is a mild respitory inhibitor". Supposedly a 7 year old died from Baeocystin overdose. Would be good to get some real information on this chemical tho. Anyone eating subs maybe realise any sort of breathing trouble? [ 10. It also explains why animals like insects, fish and birds interact with each other in a team-like fashion without (regular) communication. Like when there is a huge school of fish swimming around in one group, randomly changing direction, dispersing and joining again. How do they coordinate all these moves without smacking into each other? To me this is exactly what a group consciousness is! They are all moving together as one with one shared consciousness. Exact same thing with birds and insects! To me, when i apply it to animal movement the theory makes perfect sense... Looking at it this way it seems that we as humans have evolved into lesser communicators. Our language seems by comparison a more primitive one. Telepathy seems so much cooler.. i wanna do it! of course my thoughts now are based on reading a lot of Terrence McKennas "ramblings" and some Carl Jung theories recently so...

If you read it and give them the benefit of the doubt and believe all the mumbo jumbo, it makes some sense. It is all a bit wacky but that's exactly what interests me. Wormholes are a pretty weird concept to me and really exciting! Lets create a few and travel through space and time! (like Donnie Darko! love that movie The article tries to explain the ufo phenomenon and the collective unconsious and sincronisity(sp?). The latter i seem to experience ALL THE TIME!! (probly just a matter of suggestion) Of course i have no idea about the validity but any sort of scientific experiments that claim to prove and explain these phenomena is exciting to me.

Yeh a.. ermm.. a Friend of mine wants to go pick some mushrooms (Psilocybe subaeruginosa probably, or if there's other prominent species in the area, that'll be the go). SO he wants to know if it's mushroom season yet, or will it be soon-ish - in South Australia that is, and wheres a good spot if anyone knows, Kuitpo maybe? Funniest thing though about the portrayal of people on the dole, was when, i think Today Tonight did a story on the underground dole army. Where they did some interviews (anonymous) with people that were claiming to have an organisation that helps people cheat the system and be dole bludgers and all of that. The whole thing was a hoax and them stupid nob-heads fell for it. Ah good times, ...of course they didn't mention it in their next show(s) so i'm sure half of australia believed it was authentic.
