Sure it doesn't fully explain consciousness or answer any philosophical question, i don't expect it to. It is however very fascinating that concepts can be stored in a single neuron and dont need a series of them. I had no idea the brain could work that way. Anyway here's a snippet from 'Scientific American, MIND : The Chaos of Consciousness' I can't find a date or issue number anywhere but it's on page 10 I haven't read that other paper yet. Sure I'm interested in neurology / neuropsychology etc.. but not THAT interested. I like my information delivered to me in bite sized pieces ... yes i know ill never join the real scientist club... meh

Hey guys. About time I posted some of my reflections. it was fucking great! full stop, the end. It seems our group was cursed however, lots of badluck; from the weird hybrid killer ants attacking AndyAmide to Gomaos smashing his car window, me losing my phone and spilling a cup of precious brew all over my pants and other things like that. Then to top it off the car accident at the end. But these were all small doses of bad luck inbetween LARGE doses of fun and making friends and all that. About making friends. I may have been a bit introverted and depressed during the first few days. Im sorry if I bothered anybody but I think everyone had a great time. Just seemed that I didn't really have anything to add to such a large group really into their ethnobotanical discussions and whatnot (me = ethno-n00b). Having said that it was great fun to just listen. Planthelper you are the most animated funny guy i know! And you're not afraid to say what you're thinking and are very genuine. Gomaos, cheers for introducing me to jesus ;) Haha and just being a tops dude with unbelievable stories. Rev you're just a champ all together, Cheers for helping set up and everything else! Dodie, and everyone else who i only know by name (we dont use names here eh?), It's been great to meet you guys! really! AndyAmide, Amulte, Apothecary, Young Tripper, I love you guys! That tuesday night, or was it the wed?.. the one with the christian folks. That night was truly something special. AndyAmide I need a copy of those tunes man! I think Amulte said something about this bad shit happening being a way to bring us closer together as friends. Now if this is the result of god fucking with us so we become closer friends... well that's a somewhat warped god. But I suppose it worked. I truly feel we've all bonded and are friends for life. I don't see how anyone can have found everything they've been looking for. Well I can but I don't see how you can ever stop searching. I'm sure if these people took a psychedelic they'd instantly realise there's quite a bit going on behind the curtain of 'reallity' and definitely much worth exploring. and Qtan I like your innoculation analogy. I was once thinking the same. That it may in fact be a good thing that at a young age people start to experiment with drugs - altho it'd be nice if kids do their research 1st - as when the mind is still in a 'relatively' plastic state new concepts and pathways of thinking are opened and hopefully positive ways of thinking will be founded by these experiences. Instead of having problems related to normal ways of thinking like: "i need a better [insert material object], therefore i need more money and i need to slave away some more at work... i'm depressed"

Variations in size, sometimes head high ones! :D Weirdest dream: I was at a Coles service deli and they were selling big mushrooms looking a bit like lactarius deliciosus but a golden brown, caramelly sorta colour and blue stains, they were selling em by the kilo like meat That was a nice fantasy where you can go to your local grocery store and buy some fresh slabs of a weird hybrid edible / "poisonous" ;) mushroom

That's rediculous i think, if people are to rid themselves of naked photos of their children from fear of it being seein as child porn. I mean a photo of a naked child is not pornographic, doesn't mean sexual deviants won't get aroused by it. So if a customs fella sees said photographs and views it as child porno, then HE is the deviant! ...But on this issue, yeah that's a total invasion of privacy. Going through laptops and that, but in this day and age im not really expecting government agencies to respect my privacy - I'll just try to protect it as best i can. Guess that means you may want to delete those growlog pics, and anything else linking you to possibly wanting to think about considering the idea of maybe getting your gnome to do something illegal.
