  1. interesting concept with the auction, :)

    when does it end?

for the T.Bridgesii starting the bidding at $15.

depending how high they go for I wouldn't mind all of them but don't want to be greedy just have nothing in my garden yet :)

  2. Start with the cacti (assuming they are seed) as they will take the longest, make sure you check out the propogation methods around forums and search engines, as theu take the longest (a couple of months till you replant them) and require a bit of setting up. Then in one night boil your desmanth and put your MG in water to sit over night and plant in the next few days.

The Cacti are a long and patient process of trial and error until you find what works. Ipomoea will go crazy as long as yoou give them something to climb on and in my experience, desmanth seem to die around 1 inch tall but persistance is important.

Ive heard of someone who is starting/continuing some:

    Tabernanthe orientalis

    Tabernaemontana pandacaqui

    Acacia maidenii

    acacia cultiformis

    acacia complanata

    acacia floribunda

    acacia acuminata

    acacia longifolia

    Acacia leichhardtii

    desmanthus illinoensis

    psychotria daphnoides

    artemisia absinthium

    mimosa pudica

    Chillis

    and maybe others

Such an exciting time of the year!!!!

Thanks Heffa, Ill take your advice.

One question you may be able to answer is would you bother with a heat mat?

  3. Hi guys,

I was thinking I would like to plant some:

    trichocereas pachanio

    trichocereas macrogonas

    ipomea volacea

    phalaris aquatica

    desmanthus illnoensis

    echinopsis peruviana KK2152

But the problem is I am no green thumb, yet (although I grew a mean tomato plant in high school) I assume the cacti are relatively easy to germinate and look after, correct me if I am wrong please, but would it be worth while doing all this at once or should I pace myself?

Just worried about seed shelf life.

I still need to google the right time for the non cacti.

    any advice welcome, thanks

  5. Hi all,

Virgin poster, been a member a while, just wasn't ready to commit to a garden till now.

I would like to start my own spiritual garden and can't seem to find any where in aus to buy any P. viridis. I did manage to buy the last D. cooperi from shamanis though.

I have nothing to trade as yet but would be willing to buy some plants if anyone is willing to part with any, I did buy some seeds and will try to germinate but would love to have some actual plants as well.

    Thanks for any help guys.
