  1. Nice article (the Stodge one)

Crowe sounds like he takes himself a lil too seriously. Who the fuck throws phonebooks at people anyway?. Threatened him with Mike Castellano guess thats Paul Castellano's grandkid? lol

A great actor. But he needs to learn how to act right and respect people.

There are too sides to every story. But it makes you wonder.

  2. Its really sad that the people problem is that bad over there (i say people coz drugs arent and never were the problem just the idiots mis-using them)

For sure. Philadelphia was nicknamed Killadelphia because over 400 people were killed in 2007. Blacks killing blacks mostly. Funny thing is living there it didn't seem that dangerous as long as you don't venture into the bad parts. Talked to a doctor who had worked in an emergency room in philadelphia University of Pennsylvania (good school) who said 4 girls would be raped over a weekend and it wouldn't even make the news, that Philly isn't safe, young people who live there and say this are naive. Used to hear them shooting at night far off in the distance from my brothers porch. Sydney and Canberra are safe as shit from my limited experience. You never really know thought, difficult to measure unsafeness lol.

Louie Theroux did a thing on Philadelphia. The puertorican drug dealer he interviews in the video is from the #2 spot 3rd and Indiana.

The U.S. has serious problems. Hopefully Australia won't reach the level of fuckedupness It is nice to be able to use the cities freely without no go areas.

    P.S.

When in Las Vegas becareful around the corner of W Sahara Ave / Las Vegas Blvd S it is apparently owned by this gentleman. Just an FYI

  3. At least Australia still has YouTube. Think of the brightside

Some Youtube links will be blocked according to this article

"But not all the sites are offensive, and include links to rank-and-file pornography, YouTube videos, poker sites, WikiLeaks entries and even URLs to a Queensland dentist and dog-boarding kennel. "

"History shows that secret censorship systems, whatever their original intent, are invariably corrupted into anti-democratic behavior," WikiLeaks said in a statement. "This week saw Australia joining China and the United Arab Emirates as the only countries censoring WikiLeaks."

    Link

  4. See this article written before the proposed $20 tax scam.

It discusses how smoking is already heavily taxed in Australia but ALCOHOL isn't but should be lol. Fucking Goodie Goodie politicians trying to trick us into thinking the government should be running your life for you and taxing the shit out of ya (to keep you safe)

    Link

"Australia taxes smoking heavily, with the average $5.08 in tax per pack of 20 higher than taxes imposed in Germany, Sweden, Italy or the US, but lower than in France (equivalent to $6) or Britain ($8). "

"One estimate puts the net cost of smoking in Australia at $318million -- not including the costs of passive smoking.

The government raises about $5.6bn from tobacco excise. Although it would be possible to raise more, this would increase the level of smuggling and evasion. "

  5. Some people have adverse health effects for use/misues of ethnobotanicals should they ban the whole lot, including this forum or just levy a $15 tax per woodrose seed or thornapple lol See how ridiculous it could get?

The issue is weather or not you want the govenment making decisions for you to keep you safe?

What you can and cannot safetly read, what movies you can watch, what kind of video games are safe for you play and paying $20 for a pack of cigarettes during a recession lol

    Where does it end?

  6. I think it is a good thing. And I think it will be a good incentive to quit.

People certainly have the right to smoke, but the non-smoking community should not have to pay for health problems arising from it.

And yes, I am a smoker.

What about alcohol it kills people too? Where does the nanny state stop?, $20 for a schooner would reduce drunk driving ,If gasoline was $20 dollars a liter the "road toll" would drop?

  7. "No other Western democracy operates a system such as the one proposed by the Australian Government. When the Government refers to other nations having such systems, it omits the fact that elsewhere the involvement of the ISPs is completely voluntary and take-up is very low. In those other countries, the ISP has a choice and so, therefore, does the Internet user. The Australian proposal effectively makes the Internet Service Provider a tool of censorship and would decide for each Internet user what they can or cannot read and discuss online." - Amnesty International

Unfucking belivable! It's Amazing that Australians have quietly allowed their government to evolve into a police state. Paintballguns banned, Racy Video Games banned, Laser pointers banned, pepper spray banned, blowguns? yes thats right blowguns banned lol, Books banned. Pictures of dead babies on a pack of cigarettes -check lol we are all safer

It would be nice to see some politicians in australia who trust the australian public enough to allow them to read any book they fucking want to full stop.

    Civil liberties don't exist here.

The Prime minister supports the shit.... it's almost comical if it wasn't so disturbing. There would be riots in the street if they tried this in any other 1st world country.

The UK has a bill of rights you think Australia would.

Doesn't seem the Australian government trusts it's people at all. Moved out here recently, think Australia is cool as shit , it pisses me off to see the place run like a penal colony nanny state.

    Hopefully this changes.

  8. You obvisouly smoked Salvia divinorum and it would seem you have never tried the "quid method". Try chewing some fresh leafs, it a totally different experience.

Yes I Never tried chewing it. could you compare it to anything else? or is it apples and oranges

  9. Can you provide a reference for that? The plant is not mentioned in any federal US legal documents, only Cathinone is banned, and just as with san pedro, morning glory, phalaris, barley, etc. unlisted plants containing regulated substances are only illegal if there is evidence of intent of human use.

    I stand corrected Auxin!

    Erowid Khat Legal Status

“The DEA considers khat "an illegal plant", but the DEA's views are not law and do not have the force of law. See DEA's 2002 Briefing on Khat for more information on their view of khat. In two entries in the Federal Register, the DEA mentions khat and their view of its legal status, but in the scheduling of cathine and cathinone, the DEA chose both times not to list the plant itself and thus the plant remains in a legal grey area.”

I remember buying the plant years ago from the now defunct outfit JLF poisonous non-consumables. There was also a place out of Florida selling it but as far as I know no online vendors in the U.S. sell it?Despite it being legal Do you know of any that do?

When I visited Australia for a year a few years ago I ordering a few rooted cuttings from SAB since I had no source for it in the U.S. especially the narrow leaf type, gave them to a relative to tend for me.

  10. Hey Teo have you ever smoked sally....?

What is your impression of it...?

    H.

Can't speak for Teo but I ordered some strong 15X or 20X? extract from Seibert site(when it first came out late 1990's) as well as some 15X's from Pure land ethnobotanicals (in the U.S) . The extract was strong enough that after smoking one hit you forgot you were smoking it (to the point the person next to you needed to take the pipe out of your hand) and my oriental rug melted into the ceiling but not in a good way my vision was crossed to one side and it was more of a disorienting trip with no euphoric qualities. After doing it a couple times I was given free samples of it but wasn't interested in using it again.

Can't say what it does for other people but for me Sally D is overrated and more of a weird disorienting high than anything else. I don't think it should be illegal in oz, but honestly if it was legal I wouldn't buy it. To each their own?.... back in the U.S. all of the people I know who have used the more powerful extracts aren’t overly enthusiastic to extol the benefits.

    Just my 2 cent's

  11. I know a few poms who came over and drive on their UK license and for some reason they have this smarmy attitude and think that they are exempt from losing points... one douchebag told me he couldnt even be booked when holding a uk license lol... you may not have points deducted but you won't be able to apply for an AU license if you mess up bad enough.

I am living here now, and as such I plan to conduct myself well within the confines of all federal, state and local ordinances. I adopt the attitude that any attempt by myself to transcend such legislative confines shall result in my immediate incarceration in the bootyhouse, regardless of weather on not that may be the case. I appreciate the helpful suggestions and assure you that I will be motoring at a safe and responsible fashion keeping an keen eye peeled for any unforeseen road hazards that may arise during my commute. The only attitude I possess is one of respect for the law and more importantly one of respect for the well being of my fellow Australian motorists.

    Thanks guys

  12. Actually its pretty easy to keep your licence here in Australia. Just follow this simple rule: DONT SPEED YOU FUCKING WANKER.

I hope the next time you drive at 170 you drive straight off a bridge so that your no longer selfishly endangering the lives of every other driver or pedestrian around you.

Jesus saw a crowd chasing down a woman to stone her and approached them. "What's going on here, anyway?" he asked.

"This woman was found committing adultery and the law says we should stone her!" one of the crowd responded.

"Wait," yelled Jesus, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

Suddenly, a huge stone was thrown from out of the sky, and knocked the woman on the side of her head,a river of blood poured from her shattered skull.

The crowd parted revealing the Virgin Mary

" Jesus Mom your always budgeing in!"

  13. Moved over here recently (round the ACT) and I can drive on my U.S. license but eventually I will have to get an Australia drivers licence (am a citizen of both) My aunt always complains about how many points she has on her license and seems pretty obsessed about speed cameras and not speeding, the funny thing is she drives like a snail compared to the way I am used to driving back around philadelphia where there are no speed cameras and it's relatively easy not to lose your license due to speeding ie in Pennsylvania the points are cleared after 6 months. One time I got pulled over doing 107 mph ( 172 kph) I could have easily lost my license on the spot but the cop was nice and wrote me up for 80 mph (128 k) the ticket was for 240 ish I was lucky to drive away. Usually I don't drive nearly as fast that was a one off but seeing my aunt drive so cautiously and hearing how she gets busted by the speed cameras worries me. The car will be registered in my name. Would it be better to use the U.S. license until i get used to driving around these parts? Wonder if the points still could be added to my name even without having a aussie license. Is is this strict or is my aunt crazy. I want to avoid driving a bike. What would you do?

  14. Hundreds of people have died as a result of Muslims being offended over cartoons.

While the media is afraid to even mention the existance of far more offensive activities being practiced by Muslims as it is politically incorrect

Calling it FGM as it is culturally insensitive to call cutting off the clit Mutilation

"FGM is so politically and culturally sensitive that even the terminology used to talk about it is fraught.

RANZCOG recommends that the terms "female circumcision" be used when dealing with local communities.

Western countries, including Australia, tend to use the term FGM, but the reference to "mutilation" can be offensive to communities where the practice is not only accepted but considered sacred and aesthetically pleasing.

However, RANZCOG guidelines advise doctors against using the Islamic term Sunna, which implies religious obligation and could be seen as endorsing the practice. "

You wonder what sick bastard invented this tradition

  15. My post was completely hypocritical

    It translates out to-

The Australians are being unfairly blamed as racists. But I am 100% certain it is really the Africans fault. Let me cite a nonexistent policy.

It is easy to blame people who are different than you. I recently saw the video of the Sunshine Attack in Melbourne. Pretty disturbing shit. Like religion, politics only serves to divide people. I apologize for posting my shit stirring post . Was in a funny space when I wrote it. Sorry for creating negativity in the chill space.
