well of the few times I've come into contact with the law, there have been mixed experiences. Both good and bad. It totally depends on the persons involved.
I hear a hell of alot of grose generalisation about cops, which I personally think is extremely narrow minded, the very last thing I would have expected in a place like this!!
I fucked up when I was younger, it could have ruined my life, stupidest thing I ever did. And it only took me to get into deep shit to realise what a fuck head I had been. In this instance, the seniour cops I dealt with could put aside there
position and looked at the situation from the eyes of sympathetic human beings. Saw that I was better than what my actions indicated, and gave me the benefit of the doubt, a extended chance as it were.
True, I have never had a gun held to my head, been threatened with death. But, I have the insight to see that all people are different, some bad, some good. Same with every group of people on the face of the earth, shock - horror, even "filthy pigfuckers". Some people generally want to help and do good, some will inevitably misdirect there actions to uphold often rediculous laws.
I might be way off here, but I feel it needed to be said. You can't just generalise and impune a whole group (work force, race, religion, whatever) for the actions of a few!!
