i usually go hard on echinacea, fresh garlic, horseradish, cats claw, and OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT (surprised no ones mentioned it) theres heaps of herbal and 'essential oil' inhalation recipes online... u know the good old pot of boiling water + remedies and towel over ya head and breathe deep. coltsfoot tincture is good and chewing some ellercampane(spp) wil flush out all the mucus .

is there a pile of plant material amidst the ruins or has it been removed from the site?

some of the most sense ive been able to make from your sphere in a while dude.. . wholeheartedly agree. (although i dont think it is just 'australia') i have a lot of thoughts and input into this discussion, however i dont know if i will put the time and energy into it just at present... might take me a good month to properly digest and integrate what ive read/heard/thought over the past few years on this topic... and then coherently communicate it through this medium. its a 'busy' space thats for sure!

maybe now is a good time for me to remind folks that the flowers are in fact some of the best smoke ive ever had. and resin xtract is well, the lushest stuff ever... by far my most favourite way of intacting with these plants. Also, of anyone was inclined to do so, i would love to try an essence!. (just pull off the green/hairy bits, its the petels, stamen and pollen your after, like with lillies, only better )

it seems the source of my information (and plants) may well have had it all back to front.. (or vice versa) what made me think that the roseii was the scop like chunky monster was that i saw some plants labelled roseii collected by a true cactophile and took it as conformation. the plant of which we speak that u have labelled roseii and i have been labelling 'true super ped' is in my opinion the most beautiful/majestic plant in australia that has come out of the old school australian collections. there are a few new strains springing into propagation alongside said plant that (i.m.h.o) are going to blow ppls minds once fully proppd out and made available. will get photos next time im near said plants.. somehow my phone and camera always slip my attention in said environs.

i did this for all my cousins and noce big show plants for uncles and aunties. until a year or so later mum informed them "they are drug plants" and without my knowing they were all destroyed/composted

ive never had any trouble with my method.. goes like this: leave fresh cut exposed to dry heat (i.e sun sitting on concrete) till nicely calloused, maybe a wek two at the max. put into fresh potting mix (whatever ur prefferred blend) and compact soil/mix as hard as possible. keep out of rain. after a few weeks sit pot in small amount of water occasionally to allow some moisture to wick into lower section of pot promoting root growth. within one month of putting in soil the plant should be well taken, u should be able to feel this by moving it slightly and feeling resistance. as long as there is good drainage and the plant isnt getting too muc water it is ready to go out into all weather/get watered. never had any rot and produces well taken plants within 1.5mths from taking original cut. i think in general people are over cautious/precious to the point of dehydrating plants and also slowng down development of plants.

my experience with said situation sis as such: find the land owner and approach them, get permission to either trim the plant out or take cuttings, or even in this situation remove the plant and buy off him. once u have permission, for the aesthetic approach u can remove one third of the plants maing arms low to the base and any diseased/calloused looking sections... or if u have permission just remove the whole plant, section into pieces towards the tips for straight into pots cutivation, then middle logs for callousing and trading, and older and diseased sections can be placed around orignal plant base for re-growth. usually if the plant is to remain only remove one third of it, however in this situation id say there is every likelihood the owner doesnt see any value or worth inthe plant and may well bulldoze/level the block at some stage, plant with it. any snooping round at night that is noticed will detract from possibility of accessing the plant on a larger official level. Id be more then happy to fly over and take care of it with you, big old pedro is a great plant, infact one of my favourites!!

yep my thoughts perzactly.... miss divinorum is being used as the only base in some situations, and shes weird enough for me without that on top, and have heard some stories of some very impressed and some very scared people. Theres also the mega maoi mix whereby people very accustomed to said smoke were struggling witht the space still after 7 hours!!!!

have heard of said occurrence, not as base but as admixture... im not sure about the interaction with maois, but i know mixes that contained small amounts of brug flower alongside usual potentiators were said to be very full on.

it really does depend on the does.. in low doses ive found really good clean stuff to highten my perceptions and awarenes, ALMOST to the point of coming up on mescalline. Some of the cacti experiences ive had have filled me with such clarity and strength and endurance that i was quite certain it would be comething i would take in a survival situation (however again it is dependent on strain and preperation and dose)

i thought they were already around?? i know some of them have made them ontot he blackmarket (i.e mugs brining them to doofs) but i also heard a story of someone being tasered once inside the back of a paddywagon.... to be honest i think capsicum spray is probably the best non fatal immobiliser, but if tasers were put in place for use ONLY againsnt people weilding weapons then i wouldnt have a problem with it. if per chance, i was french artist whom had a psychotic break after a nasty breakup, and was wondering around with a knife on a public beach threatening to kill myself id much prefer the two sleep deprived coke riddled police whom apprehended me to hit me with a taser then shoot me dead.

i stepped on a stray spine that id clipped from a plant, went at leadt 1-1.5inches into my foot.. looked and felt pretty gruesome but luckily ive built up a tollerence.. just ask T about my 'cacti hands'.. its like walking on fire, u get to a point wher eu can jsut thrwo and catch even the craziest bridg without pain/spiking...(its all about the angle of handling)

trust me when i say ive swum deep enough in the bath to know you can go in either direction.. jumping out feeling rebirthed and cleansed, or sucked down the dark wormhole with all the gunk that was washing off you in the process. as potentiators of will, when harnessed, psychedelics can promote a specific direction fo thought and intent.... yes quite often it can do the opposite, and this catharsis is what i personally find most rewarding, but being around people who continually take large amounts of very high quality lsd has proven to me that it has the capacity to narrow ones perception as well. i wouldnt be surprised if the whole thing is a joke, but i also know that acid can be taken with vile means, and often potentiate the 'dark side' of ones psyche.

uhuh! im sure some people could accomplish any manner of violent homicidal acts on whatever drug(s) they had become accustomed to using. one thing i found strange in india was the use of narco interrogation techniques, and also the lengths they went to to blame specific attrocities on drugs.... mumbai is a major import/export centre for commercial drugs, but it seems to bring a lot of money with it and flys under the radar, but as such they expose even the smallest substance related indiscretions of cellebraties e.t.c... i seem to remember there being a murder investigation where the source of the 'alleged cocaine' was given much much more attention then the actual murder itself. i think in small doses good lsd would be perfect for hightening senses, and in large doses im sure it would trigger the homicidal/murderous (in)sanity of those so inclined to chase blood and gore.

Will the real super ped please stand up. damien, cant see past the flowers to the plants behind them.. but: for reference, i dont know its been covered here as ive not been around, but there were actually two different plants being circulated as 'super ped'... the first which was initially made available to me in melbourne appeared more like a short spined peruvian/pach looking specimen.. i have been told this is the 'true super ped', in that it looks quite pachanoid however is a lot more potent and akin in personality/vigour to bridg. the second and more commonly circulated plant is actually E.roseii, which is like a spined scop... i had acquired two distinctive plants under the name super ped, the short spined scop being identified to me as E.roseii and the more peruvian looking specimen being identified by people active when the plant first surfaced in melbourne as being the 'real super ped'... ao i dont know how it happened but it perplexed me at the time and thought the roseii to be the real super ped as its what was being traded a lot on the forums... I amalso told that specimens of the original 'real super ped' are few and far between, so if ur lucky enough to have some then propagate like crazy plant lov.e
