    kava extract???

i once had the unpleasure of being sucked into buying bulk kava and 'kratom' off a disreputable seller by the name of 'kavaman'. He had great kavalactone powder, it was the only time i found kava 'easy' to work with (cept for torstens ega honey). The powder was sort of like instant milkpowder but creamy orange/yellow 4 or 5g was absolutely blissfull... we combined it with some of the (real) kratom powder and had a very very euphoric, blissfull and sensual couple of weeks (that was legal in those days). Too bad he stiffed so many of us with fake kratom... otherwise iw ould have loved ot have continued buying the kavalactone powder.

(like lower then the lowest branch on the above photo?) would be good to see a photo of that and the bi-pinnate leaves. Also, whats the link to mulgas cultivation tek for phleb? i havent seen that one!

Happy 4 to my dear A.phlebophylla

Its been more then a year now.. is it still doing good? Its by far the largest specimen ive seen in cultivation within the community, and also in a pot! Id suggest carefully getting it in the ground sometime soon!

    wanted phleb seed

i made some comments in regard to the hobby cultivation of phlebophylla in my recent update of the phleb threadHERE As such, i would hope that people would try to supress their desire to grow this plant for a few years until the plant has replenished its natural seedbank. Its best not to encourage commercial collection of this seed, and buying/trading with anyone that has collected phlebophylla seed should be discouraged on ethical grounds. At present there is only pre-fire seed available which is few and far between, however in the coming years the plant is bound to set seed (lets hope it does... its flowering cycle has been very irregular the past 3 years, with no known seeding since pre fire). Until the TC project is successfull, i just dont think it is cool to 'try' to grow this plant on the whim that it 'may' be possible. Unless your living somewhere where you have the time, energy, and natural environment, to ENSURE the survival of these plants, leave it to mother nature and TC!

    Preparing Psilocybine Tampanensis

first of all, u probably want to edit your post in order to remove/change any incriminating statements. I've hear that if you swallow them whole on an empty stomach then you get a nice long slow building experience due to the slow release of goodies internally.

    Hardy Edible Garden

Awesome thread Apothecary! How good is it growing your own food! I cant wait till we have some property to crank out a massive permaculture garden on. Subsistence living is my dream! Id like to throw some of my own favourites into this here virtual garden: 'Grandmas compost hybrid' pumpkin A giant pumpkin vine that rose out of the 25yr old compost heap down the back of my grandparents last year... The vine monstered the majority of the chookyard, producing about fifty or so giant ultra tasty pumpkins. (a cross between japanese, and queensland big blue) 'Eden seeds-Giant Russian' cucumber Bloody beautiful fresh cuies for ya salads... cant go wrong! Artichoke Garlic We have a friend who grows the tastiest organic garlic ever. We eat it by the ounce! (roasted then marinated in a mixture of home grown honey, lime rinds, and small sections of wild fig mmmm) Celery! Basil

    Ayahuasca admixtures.

Iv'e been interested in sourcing out and learning about the use of other less known admixtures in the preperation of ayahuasca. Whilst ive been in europe ive had the opportunity to access amazonian medicinal plants that just arent available in australia. To me it is a real shame that such plants are limited to unavailable in australia, and i have found some of the common south american medicinals to be very potent, and they have helped me considerably with my own healing journey. (although i cannot drink ayahuasca for health reasons as yet). Despite their unavailability, i would still some day like to establish an ayahuasca garden complete with many different admixture plants (in a place/country where law permits it). I find it really interesting how many different plants can be used in the one brew, and how a curandero will utilise different plants depending on the focus and context of the particular brew. Anyway, im jsut curious as to whether anyone in australia has any ayahuasca plants other then the key components. I found this list very helpfull in starting to establish some plants to look out for (thanx for the killer links tripitaka) link!

    propagator droolllllllll

looks pretty cool, but its pretty unrealistic in terms of cost efficiency compared to the size of propagation area. I can imagine it would be good for other ventures of the mycelial variety however.. (is that a thermostate display on the side? or does it do humidity too?)

Well i promised some photos, and its about the time of the year for going through and organising all the piccies from the road.. In no particular order, hope u enjoy!
  21. We thought we would put up some of the photos we have taken this year. Where possible we will put location (mostly melbourne) and most of the id's speak for themselves, or are unknown to us! I will continue adding photos and comments till all this years photos are up, and relevent comments accompanying. hope u enjoy as i have and continue to do.. And remember, its possible if u put ur mind to it Cacti we sold this year- Bridgesii, pach & peruvianoid Melbourne Botanic Gardens, Peruvian, cereus fruit, flowers et al. Private and well guarded collection... A lifetime of collecting.. many field collected specimens. I have been very lucky to arrive during multiple flowerings both times i have visited this stunning collection. Harvest from above collection. Multiple forms of bridgesii, plenty of pachanoi, and an un i'd possibly macro. Sacred fire and ritual space.
  22. yep... this is what we like to see! those plants need some heavy manicuring... no one better for the job i say! probe deeper into rural australia and you will continue to find such specimens! Great work
  23. howdy all... the topic says it all really... im looking for bulk pereskiopsis cuttings, plants, whatever... Same goes with Caapi. Will have a bunch of ario, loph and echinopsis seed for trade. When i say bulk, it doesn't have to be hundreds of plants/cuttings, (although it would be nice to get them all in the same place) But more then 20-25 of one or the other (or both) per trade would be nice. if u can fulfill an order please let me know. I wouldnt really want them until mid to late january. Thanx e
  24. im pretty sure ive already asked this, but i cant quite remember. I think the general consensus was that this one was a macrogonus: But what is this? photos taken from this thread Thanks. e
