While I personally am a big proponent of Marijuana Law Reforms I advise that if you intend to join this organisation please proceed with caution, Having been privy to its inner workings there are a number of directions that I feel the organisation is heading that are not in the best interest of law reform and the image of the pro-cannabis group. In saying that I'm not saying that people shouldn't join , what I'm saying is if you join and you feel the organisation is not working in the best intrests of law reform then you need to write to them and address such issues an organisation such as NORML being active in Australia is great however we need to make sure it is a help and not a hinderance to real law reform

I like taht is the 2nd highest drug of corcern behind alcohol yet alcohol is still legal and cannabis is not isn't this an outright admission by the government thateither alcohol legislation or cannabis legislation is misguided and has not been made in a way that benefits the majority of the population Personally I think we would not have as many problems with cannabis if people could simply grow their own I've never really heard of anyone that smokes home grown outdoor having to many issues however I know plenty of people that IMO need mental help due to their abuse of hydroponic herb grown by greedy scum of the earth bikies and the like laced with god knows what and probably not even flushed properly not saying that the chemicals in cannbis don't contribute to the\se peoples issues however surely the other things are also a contributory factor I'vbe never really known anyone that has had issues with moderate use althoughi could see how stronger strains might have a negative effect on the unprepared mind

Yeah I enjoy them and i'll be happy to attend them when they are on just thinking someone else might have a better run organising things then what i've had I mean I don't mind doing it but I feel the way I'm doing it isn't really encouraging enough people to come that said it was great catching up with all you guys again

yeah it is kind of disappointing no ones fault but when you see the guys in brissy , melbourne and adelaide all seem to have decent turnouts consistantly and most of the NSW ones we are lucky to get 4-5 people it gets kind of disheartening not that I don't enjoy chatting to whoever turns up but it would nice just once to get a good turnout I'm just thinking along the lines that maybe someone else can organise things a bit better then i do so that it is more appealing anyway all good look forward to seeing whoever ends up turning up today

Excessive use of alcohol can cause mental problems also and actually to be honest with you to date i have seen more mental problems in people i know caused by cannabis and alcohol then I have from mdma once again its a hard arguement to justify because of our stupid drug laws but if you honestly believe alcohol is not as dangerous at least as the vast majority of psychadelic stims your really lying to yourself I can show you hundereds of articles with replicated results on mental illnesses caused by excessive alcohol consumption I'm not saying it should be looked at as an option to replace your few fdrinks after work but in comparison to going out on the weekend and binge drinking like many young people do I'd be extremely impressed if you could prove that mdma is worse then that
