Warning labels on foods, herbal remedies or pharmaceuticals is a highly contentious area, where would it satisfactorily end...loaf of bread with warning on it saying..."do not use real butter on this bread as prolonged use could cause you to get fat"...there are an infinite amount of mixtures people can come up with, not even 1% could be covered in warnings on labels. Perhaps the best generic warning label would be.."don't be a dickhead with our product"

A lot of pharmacies sell out of psuedo on purpose, this is two fold in their favor.. 1- They don't have worry about break ins as 99 percent of pharmacy break ins involve pseudo. 2- They no longer have to maintain the tedious and frustrating pseudo watch program..(obtaining signatures and updating live data base)...you can't blame them, as this is no use to the pharmacist, he is in the business of selling drugs, not in the business of not selling them, and writing down every person who tries to come and buy said drugs, not to mention it's time wasting, nor are they getting paid for any of this extra work. The pharmacist guild is under constant pressure from religious lobbyists, meanwhile your local pharmacist is bitter and twisted about the ordeal and turns to just saying fuck it, I won't sell any pseudo containing products at all then and rid myself of the shoddy whole mess. There are still friendly caring pharmacists that will sell you the real deal with no issues or writing up all, they know you well, and by first name, know your family and friends, know that you are not a criminal or drug dealer and sell you the appropriate medication for the relief of your condition. Then there are paranoid to bones freaks who don't know you and refuse point blank to sell you a pseudo containing medicine. I once left mine at home and didn't realize till I was almost at work when i went to take a couple of daytime tabs, so I parked and went into the last known chemist before work, explained my situation to her, she showed me a dozen PE containing substitutes, I then told her that I'm not here to buy any PE cold and flu medications and said I'm aware they do not work and need the psudeo containing one. She went back to a shelf behind the counter found a brand that had psudeo in them and asked me to show my license and sign some paperwork, Whilst I was signing up she had packaged the tablets up in a bag and sticky taped the bag, I finished signing up and had already paid. I get in the car get to work and find she had indeed whilst i was busy signing, put the PE containing brand in the bag and tricked me all up....I was furious but did not have the energy or time to go back and give her shit...it does however tell a tale on this dire situation that customers and pharmacists face with these ridiculous regulations.
  3. reports that batches of ecstasy laced with the pesticide levamisole have arrived on Australian shores following a worldwide shortage of MDMA. The claims surfaced in Zurich at an international drug conference recently where it was also asserted cocaine is being cut with the chemical MCPP. Levamisole is commonly used to treat worm infestations in cattle, pigs and sheep, although Wikipedia states it has also been used to treat human in the past. It has long been a common cutting agent in cocaine and ecstasy, with a 2008-2009 report by the US Drug Enforcement Administration finding 69% of cocaine samples tested positive for the substance. Toxicology reports following the death of DJ AM showed levamisole in his system. MCPP – meta-Chlorophenylpiperazine – has been around since the 1970s, and in the mid 2000s gained popularity as a ‘designer drug’. It is commonly found in pills claimed to be ecstasy. News.com.au report that these ‘highly dangerous’ batches of cocaine and ecstasy are already on Australian streets. “It is very, very dangerous because people don’t know what’s in the drugs,” said Detective Superintendent Nick Bingham. “We have certainly seen a spike in seizures and arrests of cocaine,” he continued. “It’s the first time we have seen cocaine seizures significantly overtake heroin, although it is still a small population of the overall drug seizures. Yeah absolutely, whats ironic is that you see millions of people gulping and sculling stimulant based drinks like red bull, V or double shot lattes, trying desperately to beat the drowsiness or get through their tedious work on caffeine. DEA and govt's world wide have a huge hard on for eliminating street stimulants, the desire and demand for these chemicals is so high world wide that it would absolutely blow your mind to know the real facts & figures of who uses, yet this philosophy flies directly in the face of the machine, the mans desire to pump out more crap, faster and for longer. A pharmaceutical pure stimulant, at correct dosage, placed into the worker before each shift would push those bar graphs to the sky within months...fighter pilots have been allowed to use it but they are protecting us from the enemy. Said it a million times before, there a hundreds of thousands of functioning stim users, they are the people that can actually do jobs most couldn't even fathom, then there are people with chronic fatigue, these people can now actually take part in life and make a go due to the availability of pharmaceutical pure dextro. The majority of the problems world wide arise from these drugs when the poor and bored use them to create something in their life that doesn't exist, to fill voids, they keep dosing and keep dosing until a spiral of darkness opens up and takes them and few possible innocents with them.

No you are getting it mixed up...disregard my amphetamine post and alkalinity, grapefruit juice is highly acidic not alkaline. I don't fully understand the mechanics of added acidic substances to the gut and faster onset, though I tend to think that there is some sort of reaction in the stomach when another type of strong acid is introduced, possibly the reaction is creating a lot of extra oxygen and passes the active to blood faster in larger amounts before it gets a chance to be metabolized. My Mum used to break out in a rash and spots quite soon after drinking any type of acidic fruit juice, it was quite remarkable how fast this process was, it shows you just how fast this stuff happens from ingestion-reaction-passing on to extremities and brain.

Pharmacokinetics On average, about one half of a given dose is eliminated unchanged in the urine, while the other half is broken down into various metabolites (mostly benzoic acid).[50] However, the drug's half-life is highly variable because the rate of excretion is very sensitive to urinary pH. Under alkaline conditions, direct excretion is negligible and 95%+ of the dose is metabolized. Having an alkaline stomach will cause the drug to be absorbed faster through the stomach resulting in a higher blood level concentration of amphetamine. Having an alkaline bladder causes the drug to be excreted very slowly. The main metabolic pathway is: dextroamphetamine \rightarrow \; phenylacetone \rightarrow \; benzoic acid \rightarrow \; hippuric acid. Another pathway, mediated by enzyme CYP2D6, is: dextroamphetamine \rightarrow \; p-hydroxyamphetamine \rightarrow \; p-hydroxynorephedrine. Although p-hydroxyamphetamine is a minor metabolite (~5% of the dose), it may have significant physiological effects as a norepinephrine analogue.[51] Subjective effects are increased by larger doses, however, over the course of a given dose there is a noticeable divergence between such effects and drug concentration in the blood.[52] In particular, mental effects peak before maximal blood levels are reached, and decline as blood levels remain stable or even continue to increase.[53][54][55] This indicates a mechanism for development of acute tolerance, perhaps distinct from that seen in chronic use.[56] WIKI DEXTRO PAGE sorry for slight sidetrack powdered toast man... This is such an interesting area of stimulants, I wish i was more versed on chem so I could decipher whats actually going on...I think it's in the reduction, not so much what reduction is being used rather whats actually happening right there in the reduction, time, ratios, heat etc...some batches can make you incredibly horny and euphoric, then say another will make you grow tiny cock and want to clean the house from top to bottom, another batch will have short legs and have a completely unique feel, another will make your eyes itchy after two days, another will make you pull strange faces for extended peroids without you knowing...I mean there are way way a lot of subtitles between batches, it's almost like different wines...the only obvious regular "you can count" on feel is the Dextro isomer pharmaceuticals obviously are bound to be. Some people say it is due to the type of reduction used but I can't get my head around that...if the same pure alkaloid is being reduced by a salvated free electron then you would think that the outcome would or should be the same, seems it never is due to clandestine manufacture I'm assuming and so you end up with a product that can be over reduced or partially under reduced with many contaminants. I've always wondered what pharmaceutical made pure D meth would be like, as I think the L isomer is all but inactive is it not. Thanks for your post Alchemica, really interesting stuff there. I'd like to add that people have given a chemical a bad name due to over use and short term heavy abuse, once again in moderation and correct dosage levels coupled with knowledge and appropriate fluid and food intake and an individual can live a relatively normal life and never have to look bad and say wow that stuff is bad and evil man. Sure if you try it and want to get fucked up and high then you are bound to crash and burn and feel the street coming up beneath you fast, also when taking these substances, the whole point is to remain active and awake for extended periods isn't it, so if yo don't have plans to occupy that time with something worthwhile etc then don't do it, planning and knowing your time frames, managing your output and seeing where the end is all helpful in balancing a very potent chemical into your natural daily life. Those with high concentration jobs that demand focus for 8 or more hrs solid can derive extreme benefit from a dose straight after breakfast as early possible, making sure to drink appropriate water through out the day and eat good things like apples, nuts and seeds, drink tea (green) and remembering to keep check of muscular tension and any jaw clenching. If you time things right you should be able to eat dinner, drink a hot choclate and be in bed by midnight and wake up relatively ok feeling. For those that have never the film requiem for dream I suggest you download it and watch it, it's an amazing film, some find it disturbing and couldn't watch it twice, but I loved it, it's a lot like "SPUN" but darker and more twisted.. European speed is nearly always amphetamine sulfate, not methamphetamine, so half a gram is quite doable in one go. It is quite strong if pure, in a different way to meth though, I used to be able to do a full gram of sulfate in a day no problems, no way in the world would you consider trying to do a half gram of meth in one go, plus the two generally are taken in different routes, one being smoked and the other eaten or snorted. Some of the European sulfate I found to be incredibly euphoric and long acting, it wasn't for many years later till tried the other and was expecting something 10 times stronger and more powerful yet didn't get that all...the later is incredibly addictive though due to the smoking route..it's very ritual to smoke anything with men I find, where as a powder that is eaten is only done so when need to get high. If had to choose between the two I'd nearly always lean towards the European sulfate, it's very rarely seen in Australia if at all, most if not all stimulants here are methamphetamine based.

likely it is allowing more of the drug to be passed across the blood brain barrier by preventing a larger percentage of the drug than usual, from being metabolized in the gut and passed on for excretion unused. 95% of amphetamine is passed through the body unused, but if you make your gut alkaline prior to ingestion, you can increase the amount of amphetamine passed to the blood brain barrier, this does not make the hit heavier or stronger though apparently, rather it prolongs the actual high, also the drug will show up on a tox screen or drug test much longer afterward than usual. I think the term "potentiates" is slightly misused when it comes to drugs, the amount of drug you are taking is still the same, rather another secondary substance is acting like a police escort to get it to it's destination undisturbed or obliterated by our stomach acids. The relationship of ascorbic acid and stomach acid is where this information is to be found. GASTRIC ACID

Incredibly interesting topic I must say, for the life of me I cannot come to some sort of conclusion as to what and how... Thing is, everyone is different right, but I'd pretty confident in saying that if this was something someone was doing very infrequently, then any external or remedial repair through vitamins or some other organic substance wouldn't be necessary, at best any repairing through these things would be negligible or more than likely heavily placebo. What is is the definition of very infrequent...? I'd have to say 2-3 times a year, at this rate a normal healthy individual body and mind should be able to cope with this and self repair to an almost perfect state, purely through ordinary living and a healthy active life. I'd even go so far as to say that even an unhealthy individual should be able to get away with the same, the repair time may well take longer but still should naturally occur and the person should return to normal. Clarifying also that even if product was extremely pure and potent then still the same, obviously if product is bunk or weak then 2-3 times a year would have barely any effect and repair times more rapid. Where this whole discussion becomes extremely interesting and difficult is when you try to understand the mechanics of a frequent to heavy user...once again the "everyone is different" algorithm has to somehow be factored in, not easy. I think if someone is a heavy user, long term, then there is obviously going to some health issues. The single best piece of advice for long term or heavy users, is to be thoroughly educated in the substance. If the individual is very well versed on the effects and how it is metabolized and passed through the body then they are better equipped to form some sort of contingency plan to help alleviate or slow down any of the negative effects of the drug. Obviously with stimulants you are running your engine at a faster pace than normal for an extended and unnatural amount of time...something to also consider is that an individual can be as stimulated naturally, but this generally goes hand in hand with a physical or physiological activity, the body can deal with extreme amounts of adrenaline and endorphin release when it's occurring naturally, one will find that it is for a much shorter period of time and they will be naturally tired and require rest at some point after the event. Stimulants can run your engines flat out for 10 times as long and the person doesn't even have to be doing a single thing, they could actually simply be sitting down staring at a wall. How do address this and try counteract this unnatural type of stimulation....? Know your dose, know your drug, dose your drug at smart times, make sure to at least be psychical and actually use up some natural energy...careful not to over do it and become dehydrated and over heat. How does this help someone using study aids, well it doesn't really help much, hopefully the person using for study aids is dosing very carefully and intelligently, is making sure to keep hydrated, eat well and often even if not hungry and attempts to rest when the body is used to resting and not try and play catch up during the day. I will say also that the mind is a powerful tool against illness, side effects and general negative impact a drug can have on someone, not many can talk them selves out of everything forever though and at some point they will either get off the roundabout and at least spend the rest of their time being relatively healthy or, stay on and take the chance, knowing that decline is inevitable and no one is immune to it. FWIW some people are actually happier living with their addictions, they simply couldn't live without them so to speak, when happiness is part of the though process, then it's also part of the protection and defense mechanisms....once again this relates to how the mind can attribute certain activities as positive to some people, or can be the persons dramatic and ugly downfall in others. I met a guy in the UK many years ago who only ever ate one meal a day his whole life...when I quizzed him about this his response was that, he considered that a large part of the human aging process was intrinsically connected to our bodies being the food process mode, eating sends the body into this process mode, uses up a lot of energy, therefore shortens your life a little every time, he went on to say that just breakfast, once eaten can take the whole day for the body to deal with, ending in it's excretion the very next day just prior to the next breakfast, so having the body work continuously processing food was in fact sapping energy and life from him. This was put to me with...did you ever feel tired and need a rest after a large meal...? food for thought.

ScienceDaily (Aug. 20, 2008) — Scientists and consumers have known for years that grapefruit juice can increase the absorption of certain drugs — with the potential for turning normal doses into toxic overdoses. Now, the researcher who first identified this interaction is reporting new evidence that grapefruit and other common fruit juices, including orange and apple, can do the opposite effect by substantially decreasing the absorption of other drugs, potentially wiping out their beneficial effects. The study provides a new reason to avoid drinking grapefruit juice and these other juices when taking certain drugs, including some that are prescribed for fighting life-threatening conditions such as heart disease, cancer, organ-transplant rejection, and infection, the researcher says. These findings — representing the first controlled human studies of this type of drug-lowering interaction — were described today at the 236th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society. "Recently, we discovered that grapefruit and these other fruit juices substantially decrease the oral absorption of certain drugs undergoing intestinal uptake transport," says study leader David G. Bailey, Ph.D., a professor of clinical pharmacology with the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. "The concern is loss of benefit of medications essential for the treatment of serious medical conditions." Bailey and colleagues announced almost 20 years ago the unexpected finding that grapefruit juice can dramatically boost the body's levels of the high-blood-pressure drug felodipine, causing potentially dangerous effects from excessive drug concentrations in the blood. Since then, other researchers have identified nearly 50 medications that carry the risk of grapefruit-induced drug-overdose interactions. As a result of the so-called "Grapefruit Juice Effect," some prescription drugs now carry warning labels against taking grapefruit juice or fresh grapefruit during drug consumption. In the most recent research, Bailey's group had healthy volunteers take fexofenadine, an antihistamine used to fight allergies. The volunteers consumed the drug with either a single glass of grapefruit juice, water containing only naringin (substance in grapefruit juice that gives the juice its bitter taste), or water. When fexofenadine was taken with grapefruit juice, only half of the drug was absorbed compared to taking the drug with water alone, Bailey says. Loosing half of the amount of drugs taken into the body can be critical for the performance certain drugs, he points out. They also showed that the active ingredient of grapefruit juice, naringin, appears to block a key drug uptake transporter, called OATP1A2, involved in shuttling drugs from the small intestine to the bloodstream. Blocking this transporter reduces drug absorption and neutralizes their potential benefits, the researchers say. By contrast, drugs whose levels are boosted in the presence of grapefruit juice appear to block an important drug metabolizing enzyme, called CYP3A4, that normally breaks down drugs. "This is just the tip of the iceberg," Bailey says. "I'm sure we'll find more and more drugs that are affected this way." To date, grapefruit, orange and apple juices have been shown to lower the absorption of etoposide, an anticancer agent; certain beta blockers (atenolol, celiprolol, talinolol) used to treat high blood pressure and prevent heart attacks; cyclosporine, a drug taken to prevent rejection of transplanted organs; and certain antibiotics (ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, itraconazole). But additional drugs are likely to be added to the list as physicians become more aware of this drug-lowering interaction, Bailey says. Orange and apple juices also appear to contain naringin-like substances that inhibit OATP1A2, Bailey says. The chemical in oranges appears to be hesperidin, but the chemical in apples has not yet been identified, the researchers notes. Bailey advises patients to consult with their doctor or pharmacist before taking any medications with grapefruit juice or other fruits and juices. Unless it is known to be a problem, he recommends taking most medications only with water. This research was funded by grants from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the United States Public Health Service. SOURCE OF INFORMATION
  17. LINK Reefer madness is alive, and flourishing in Australia. The latest Illicit Drug Data Report from the Australian Crime Commission shows two-thirds of all drugs arrests in the financial year of 2008-09 have been for cannabis-related offences. Yes, all around Australia, despite the scare campaigns governments and police run on substances such as heroin, and methamphetamines, it is cannabis, a naturally growing product, which results in the most police attention. And it gets worse. Figures from the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics show that the number of charges filed by police in that state, for simple drug use, or possession, outweigh charges related to serious drug offences by almost seven to one. This at a time when the citizens of California — the US state where the original reefer madness took hold – have decided to hold a ballot in November to legalise both the recreational use and sale of marijuana to adults over the age of 21. One would suspect that one of those citizens, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is himself on the side of legalisation. There was, of course, that appearance, lying on a couch, smoking a joint, in the 1970s gym and muscles documentary, Pumping Iron. Schwarzenegger has, however, recently come out on the side of continuing prohibition. We do live in strange and hypocritical times indeed. And, sadly, nowhere is this more on display than in the humble state of NSW. At least the good people of California will get a vote on it. The NSW Government and local police forces regularly profess a determination to be harsh on drug dealing, and organised crime. A cursory look at the website of NSW Police reveals the tough stance the law enforcement agency has against commercial dealers, manufacturers, importers, and exporters of illicit drugs. According to the National Drug Strategy, the NSW Police Force should: • disrupt the manufacture and supply of illicit drugs; • enhance efforts to control the inappropriate supply and diversion of pharmaceutical drugs and pre-cursor chemicals; and • dismantle organised crime For these high-minded aims, NSW Police and other state and federal law enforcement agencies are given more than $2 billion annually to conduct their operations, according to a 2008 article in the Drug Alcohol Review by the US economist Timothy Moore. And how, exactly, is all this money spent? On breaking transnational drug networks? On getting violent drug dealers off the streets? On making sure pseudoephedrine is used only by those with a runny nose, not ice runners? One would think so, but official statistics show otherwise. The NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics has collated information that demonstrates that between 2000-08, up to 75 per cent of all annual police charges in that state for cannabis-related offences were simply for its use, or possession. Simply put, police in Australia are spending the great majority of a multibillion-dollar "war on drugs" budget on arresting a bunch of stoners with the munchies. Does not such a seeming waste of resources err with the greater community? Particularly when all scientific and medical evidence suggests cannabis is no more, if less, dangerous than alcohol, and that its active ingredient of THC has clear therapeutic benefits? What's more, a list compiled for The Lancet in 2007 by Britain's most eminent drugs researcher, Professor David Nutt (the former chairman of the UK Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs who in late 2009 resigned after the UK Government increased the level of prohibition on cannabis) shows weed to be the 11th most dangerous substance studied. Nutt's report shows that widely available drugs, such as alcohol, tobacco, and your humble anxiety and sleeping pill (benzodiazepines) outweigh cannabis on the level of danger involved in their continued use. Already in the US, 14 states, including California, have legalised the medicinal use of marijuana. Patients with a wide range of symptoms and ailments, including cancer, post traumatic stress disorder, and wasting illnesses, are eligible. The continuing illegality of cannabis at all levels in Australia is incredibly puzzling when governments are aware of its medical and therapeutic benefits. The findings of a 2003 NSW Government inquiry, first established by former premier Bob Carr in 2001, suggested the substance at least be legalised for medicinal use, and a trial conducted on its effectiveness. Proponents and politicians in California involved in the legalisation of cannabis for its recreational use, say it will add up to $3 billion to the state's annual economy, which has a $20 billion deficit in funds. Here, in NSW, there is great potential for a legal cannabis industry, with some of the best conditions in the world to grow the plant. The tiny north coast town of Nimbin is already world famous. Moreover, the state of NSW is struggling with a cash flow problem, and is continually looking to sell off public assets for short-term breathing space on debts and financing. Additionally, information from the National Cannabis Prevention and Information Centre shows that more than 600,000 Australians smoke, or consume, cannabis either daily, or weekly, despite its current illegality; while half of those aged between 18-29 have had a toke at some point in their life. Needless to say, there is an established market and a taste for a plant, which historical and cultural evidence proposes has been with humans for at least the past 4000, or so, years.

    Damn PMS

Suggestions from the better half... A sweet soup made with chunks of carrot, banana, ginger, palm sugar, a touch of cinnamon and coconut cream....you simmer altogether and place in a bowl and eat warm. Eating really stinging hot chili dishes helps a lot apparently. Chicken porridge...make oatmeal the usual way only don't add sugar, rather add small slithers of chicken, Balinese peanuts, a slight splash of soy sauce and a tiny bit of ketjap manis. As far as any ethno use goes,,, I would imagine low dose mescaline ( between 5 - 20mg of salts) to be of some assistance, like wise smoked caapi.

Incredible times when I think back to them, perhaps it's these childhood memories that stick solid the most, why..because life was so simple, wake eat cereal and play all day..outside, breathing so much fresh air and running around or riding bikes all day...this is why we are still alive and kicking on strongly, we had so much damn exercise, we ate real food and drank from bubblers. 22. This is a very serious condition...I know because I have it...for about the last 6 months I have had increasing amounts of pain in the elbow and wrist area of my right arm..the mouse arm. This was partly the reason I was taking more and more painkillers with an anti-inflammatory in them, Jesus now I'm clean of pain meds this condition has increased in intensity 10 fold. Honestly it is extremely painful and makes it incredibly hard to get proper sleep, I lay on my right arm to sleep and always have done so now it's just extreme pain if I do that. The elbow pain has now become wrist and finger pain with swelling across certain knuckles also. Apart from not using a mouse anymore ...fuck what are the options...I haven't really been able to find any info in relation to healing this and ridding myself of this pain that is 24/7 and making me cranky...sometimes it hurts like hell to pick up a bowl of food..even picking up a pen off a table has had me almost screaming with pain. read more HERE
