    dons party

    the club

stone as been mentioned is a classic i always think of the funeral service, SATAN!!!

  2. yeah sweet, i dont mean to create enemies with you lofty, i got no gripes with you and i hope you dont with me, its hard when we are faced with written word, if we were having a yarn we wouldnt have had this issue we could of discussed it, i get riled up when i hear people use the word abo in reference to indigenous people, as where i grew up it was used and still is used in a racist derogatory manner, sorry i find it offensive, as do my close friends and family, who are aboriginal. once again sorry for derailing the thread.

  3. fair enough, call me twat whatever, i stick by what i say, when you say met one, do you mean yowie, cause no i havent met a yowie, if you mean aboriginal person, as met one, well yes i was born and raised in noongar country with many friends noongar, and have family members who are indigenous, so i dont mean to get into a debate about linguistics, a twat maybe i am to open that discussion in this thread, i did not know about aba being used inthe manner you explained, now i do and you have enlighted me. thank you for that, if you cant see how one could see aba as a "cute" way of saying abo without knowing hte linguistics you know behind the term then i am sorry for your ignorance.

i didnt say you were being racist, i was just thinking aba was to close to abo which i do think can be used in a racist manner. it seems i offended you, sorry bout that.

i will go back to my wadjella world of white privallage and shut the fuck up now

sorry OP for derailing your thread.

Sheather, so you knew about aba being a word from wagul wagul dialect? how stupid i am, thanks for your 2 cents.

  4. aba's belive that ley lines are places where one can enter the dreaming. not saying you didnt really see it but perhaps you were at one of those spots and you were seeing into that reality if youve spent lots of time out bush chances are your pretty tuned in to that energy. ive had encounters in the bush although i havnt had a sober day in 7yrs or so. go back to the spot and ask for alliance (simple as rubbing the earth into your third eye) he was probably pissed off that a migloo was marking his territory and warning you off. yowies are usually quite friendly beings.

aba's - really you think this is a decent way to talk about aboriginal people? and no i am not being politically correct here, i just dont know any fulla who likes being called or the use of the the term abo or aba as you put it, or boong or coon for that matter, surely those days are behind us?

yowies - the word comes from Gamilaraay people in NSW, yuwi is the word for dead spirit or spirit of the dead, waiting to go to where they go, and when explorers and settlers to the region first heard the word they started using the word yowie, and associated it with creatures beings like the bunyip, hairy man etc. and is now entrenched into australian mythology, removed from its original meaning and spiritual significance.

what makes you think of them as friendly beings?

this has been told to me from a well respected member of the aboriginal community working with the Gamilaraay language, and in no way he referred to the yuwi as being something pleasant to encounter, but rather, stay the fuck away.

just offering my words here of what i have been told about the yowie

and then again there is the mythical creature who used to haunt these parts of the internet named yowie and he would scare the shit out of me too if i saw him in the bush  but i think he is haunting parts of western australia bushland these days

  6. yeah tonquin beans were banned in tobacco products sometime ago now. i dont know when or why, did read it once

but tonquin bean flavoured snuff is beautiful, i made some once, like vanilla.

the art of curing tobacco is a very interesting one. very complicated and there are many ways

from the top of my head, snus is sun dried and then steam cured, after steam curing for a certain period of time at a certain temp, it is flavoured and ph adjusted with calcium carbonate or other alkaline. sometimes a mixture and glycerin as well to make it form, its very tricky to make a good snus

    snus is wonderful stuff

    i love chewing tobacco,

the ropes i had to chew have all been flavoured, usually sticky, i never had plain rope

i think it comes down to how it is cured and let to age,

strength i think comes down to type of tobacco, and curing process, plus amount of ph.

i dont know about smoking tobaccos, i rarely smoke tobacco

lately been chewing mirage, indian khaini type tobacco, i really like it but i know its not good for you

i dont know if i have address anything here really

tonquin is called for in a lot of old snuff recipes, i have a ning site dedicated to tobacco, with a very knowledgeable snuff man there, but i need to pay the fuckgin subscription to make the site live again, lots of old info about snuff and chew production from old days.

you can still buy tonquin beans for cooking purposes so i am not too sure about the banning of it in tobacco products, maybe it was the concentrations they used? cant remember now, all i know is it flavours tobacco very nicely

  7. yes i agree pods are nice and dandy, but if you are already in the grips of the monkey, what happens i found through experience is you are left worse off when the pods run out and they do run out.

  8. ginseng and siberian ginseng too as well as

Oral administration of Withania extract (100 mg/kg) per se did not produce analgesia and did not block morphine-induced analgesia. However, repeated administration of Withania (at the above dosage) for 9 days attenuated the development of tolerance to morphine-induced analgesia (p[less than]0.01). Withania also suppressed morphine-withdrawal jumps which are a sign of the development of opiate dependence (as assessed by naloxone precipitation of withdrawal on day 10 of testing)Pretreatment with sitoindosides VII to X and withaferin A from Withania at all doses (10 to 150 mg/kg, i.p. administration) significantly reversed morphine-induced inhibition of gastrointestinal tract transit (p[less than]0.05) and inhibited development of tolerance to morphine-induced analgesia (p[less than]0.05).The treatment did not itself influence intestinal motility nor produce any perceptible analgesic effect. The author suggested that Withania may be useful in the treatment of morphine withdrawal syndromes and the attendant physical dependence on morphine, including immunodepression.

Opiate withdrawal places considerable stress on the body, hence the use of adaptogens (which help the body to minimize the negative effects of stress) can be helpful. One of the best adaptogenic herbs is Eleutherococcus senticosus (Siberian ginseng). [24] Another valuable adaptogenic herb which also promotes hepatic detoxification (phase I, phase II) and has useful antioxidant properties is Schisandra chinensis.

Schisandra is official in the current Chinese and Japanese pharmacopeias. In addition to its traditional use in Chinese medicine as a tonic and sedative, Schisandra has been studied and utilized as a "harmony remedy" in Russia. In the 1980s a series of lignans which showed significant biological activity were isolated from Schisandra. Recent interest has focussed on its antioxidant, hepatoprotective and adaptogenic activities. Schisandra has been evaluated and used in Russia as an adaptogen. On the basis of uncontrolled trials it was said to increase endurance, increase physical efficiency in humans and decrease sickness in factory workers and children.

edit to add this link you find it interesting

    bob flaws article

i think the tonic and adaptogen herbs are ones to look for. i got some good tonic formulas

  9. really teotz how constructive is that comment, for one iboga aint that easy to come by, not as easy as tcm herbs which toast asked about. how about offering something constructive as obviously toast is reaching out, yoru the master of all lists surely you got herbs on your list that would be suitable or are you just an administrator of lists without knowing the effects and applications of your herbs in the list

toast: there are some tcm herbs you could look into, there are some formulas you could try, i have experimented with these in the past, with various degrees of success and failure at aiding withdrawal. it has been some time since i have thought about it, but i will think about it, i am currently in the process of moving al my herbs to a better location n my house but i got heaps of other house clearing shit to take care of as well so, i got some herbs you are welcome to try and see if they help. but me getting access to them at the moment is tricky as they are scatter all through different boxes packed away.

but let me think of some formulas, a while back i sent someone here a small pill of a formula its a formula that calms the spirit, i found that to be effective, to some degree, and that person did too, initially i think, its an old formula and called for cinnabar to be used, i had to replace the cinnabar with a different mineral, due to its toxicity, but i think a one of dose of cinnabar is ok, especially in the dosage prescribed, its miniscule, but i have not noticed any mineral that calms to spirit more than cinnabar, maybe im crazy for taking it, mind you i havent taken it for a long time now, and i wouldnt give it others.

i am thinking a mixture of he huan hua or pi (hua tasting better)

    ci si - magnetite

    poria fungus

    hu po- amber

    wu wei zi - schizandria

da zao red and black date and goji berries

    ling zi - reishi

    herbs for heart and liver

but in no way am i a tcm herbalist, just learn for my own health really, but it might be worth seeing one, and letting them know they will be able to identify what vital organs need treatment in your case and treat accordignly. maybe some accupuncture may help too, but its expensive cause you need to go for many treatments. i know in china they have foudn a few formulas to be effective in treatment of opiate withdrwal, but i cant remember what they are, but these herbs still aint going to make withdrawals easy they will help regulate your body during the process

corydalis and white peony can be good at dealing with pain, but i still dont find it strong enough. extract may be the go, but never got around to making extract of them

corydalis can be quite good but you should monitor its use and never take it long term, i was told by a tcm herbalist

  10. I wish I saw this show.

I've been on Endone & Oxycontin for about 10 weeks, and can definitely feel the strangle hold tightening.

Any tips for getting off them?

    send them to me

nah seriously just gotta cut back slowly i reckon, dont get stuck in the habit of taking all the time, say you are on 20mg a day, keep it there for a while, then make it 15mg, keep it there, then after a month or so, take it to 10mg and so on, then maybe get some codiene to end up, depends why you are on them i guess.

i dont know others here are better and giving advice for withdrwals

im currently trying to taper my clonazapam dose but it seems to be going up so im not the best one to talk to i guess

interesting conversation going on here, i think as they are pharma drugs, you are getting a wider selection of the community getting addicted to them as well, people who would never go out and look for heroin or whatever.

personally i wish i could get oxy easily from the doctor cause they are effective pain treatment, codiene just doesnt do the job when it comes to pain relief for me, i dont know why, maybe cuase i have had opiate use for years and years now, in many forms?

ive recently fucked my knee and i been putting up with the pain, but im going to have to go back and get some more pain relief, it seems at the doctors where i go, they prefer to give tramadol before forte, and are very reluctant to give oxy, they gave it once to me and i made the mistake of saying how addictive that shit is, and he noted it down so i guess they will never give it to me again.

funny thing i was in the city yesterday, and these business people walked past, they were having some conversation and this is what i heard of it

" yeah, well its a morphine based pain killer...." i immediately thought oxy, hes gotta be talking about, but i remember the days when you mentioned morphine and you were looked at like some hard core drug abuser.

  11. hey good to hear you are there safe and sound sounds lovely

as far as i know most chinese medicinals are used in vietname, just got vietnamese spellings. there are a lot of similarities between china and vietnam.

i would say that most medicinals form china they would use in vietnam as well, however vietnam may have their own medicines but i would guess that the chinese would of incorporated them into tcm practices by now

but worth visiting herbalists and seeing whats there

  12. he huan pi or he huan hua, i have found to be quite effective, in combination with fu ling

the he huans are the happiness mimosa, the flowers taste better than the bark IMO

he huan pi is bark he huan hua is flowers

fu ling is poria fungus, these herbs are known to reduce anxiety and to bring about calmness, i think they work better over a period of time, not a quick fix
