The more I read, the more impressed I am. You're right Marcel, it's a gift - a very generous gift from Snu. -

Mine came today!! Brilliant!! It's jam packed with info. What a masterpiece. If you can't read, get one anyway.. excellent for self-defense! -
Ok great. Repotting here we come
-
Thanks ballzac. I'm a cactus newbie so I don't know what's 'normal' - but I'm learning fast! *he says hopefully*
-
Phew! I didn't want to operate on him so that's great news! I'll repot him over the weekend. What should I do if I find a pup underground? Just leave it? And thanks to everyone who responded to my cry for help. Really appreciated
-
Great! I'll have to psych up to cutting him though *gulp*
-
OK Should I do both at once - cut and re-pot?
-
OK!! Great advice!! There's another element to all this and I stupidly didn't mention it. He's putting out another whatchemacallit!
-
Yeah, it's been getting worse over the past couple of months - the base peeling or whatever - but it hasn't stopped or slowed its growth.

Hello cactus lovers! I am concerned over the health of my dear little Echinopsis 'Los Banos' x Trichocereus pallarensis! As you can see, he's got some nasty looking skin near the soil. Should I be worried? If 'yes' what can I do? Also his skin higher up is blotchy. Most of it is pale but there are darker spots appearing. Again, should I be worried? He is very dear to me and I'd hate to be doing the wrong thing by him so any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks heaps KP

I'm in SEQ so summer months would be hot and humid enough?. I'm getting a baby Echinopsis 'Los Banos' x Trichocereus pallarensis as a pet (well I gotta talk to SOMEONE) Plus some Lophophora williamsii 'Mex' seeds to try growing. -
A thread about conspiracy theories and symbolism.

You gotta visit http://tracker.conspiracycentral.net/ for big gobs of stuff - books, vids, mp3s, the works - more than enough to make ya paranoid! -

hehehe NOW you're getting my mouth excited! Can't recall seeing any in the stupormarkets. Although that might be cactus fruit blindness. Now that I know what I can expect from these ones (hopefully in my lifetime) I'll keep a good lookout Ta -

OK, KanJe I'll do a search on Hylocereus and see what it's about. When you say "good grafting stock" does that mean good to graft other ones onto this one? I'm assuming there is info here on grafting. As you can see I'm TOTALLY new to this Thanks again KanJe!
