how come my 6year old loph wont pup like that? it just gets fatter and fatter... it's prob.. 70ish mm wide now. she put out her 1st double flowers last week :D and her flowers are sticking around for a long time now, maybe 14ish days or so befor they die were as they used to only last a week or so

ok so i'm tired all the time physically and mentally. I often feel drunk like dizzy, cant think strate etc when i havent drunk. Sometimes when i look at verticle lines like corigated iron or wooden fences etc those lines will shimmer like heat waves and rubbing my eyes doesnt help at all, only time. If i get up too fast it will often make this worse. So far iv seen my doctor who did a blood test that came out fine so he said that there was nothing he could do, a natropath who gave me vite b group suplements that after trying them for 2 months didnt make even a slight difference exept turn my pee radioactive yellow, i saw a psycologist or psycyatrist (the one who gives you drugs) who gave me dexaphetemine wich work fantastically but i dont wanna have to rely on drugs if i can help it. I tried cutting out sugar completely for 2months and (at least it felt like) it made me a lil worse, tried ginko tea wich helped a lil, tried a healthier diet with lots of raw fruit and veg, cut out alcohol for a year or so, tried increasing my sleep to 10hours a night, tried reducing it to 6hours, and tried a few otherthings that i cant remember. I dont smoke, drink maybe once a week but usually every 3 weeks or more, have only smoked weed 12ish times in my life, rarely do any drugs, and usually get about 8 or more hours sleep a day. I'm rationing my dexies now cause my shrink who seems to be the only one in melbourne who bulk bills, has retired and there fore cant supply me anymore so most days i just wont take it. For this reason i bought 2kg of 60% pure caffiene extract only to realize later that an extract doesnt seem to work the same way as a propper energy drink; that the feeling is different and that its a feeling i dont like. I'd be happy enough to just kill my body with daily energy drinks but this is not cost effective, not to mention bad for me and not fixing the problem, only masking the symptoms. So ya any ideas guys? Anyone know any professionals that could help me out in melbourne? Sure i could google it but it would be nice to find someone who has the nod from someone on here ;) thanks any info is good info.

never hit caffiene had till i started working wich was well after i noticed the symptoms. Today, i always have a morning coffee and maybe 3 times a week will have some other kind of caffiene. Would there be any way to combat weak adreanal production? Other then with more drugs? Haha what a vicious cycle..

oh, ok, well ya when i say tease the roots it means just pull them out so there not in the shape of the old pot. It encorages the roots to grow outwards and loosens up the soil around the roots. If the plant is realy pot bound. Its roots will grow around and around the edge f the pot. If you dont tease the roots then it will continue to grow around instead of growing outwards. Learn something new everyday huh I got a nice cutting that was thrown in the wet soil and put outside and is doing really well too ;)

i think it'll be fine. Keep it watered and it shouldnt need a humidity dome unless its freezing cold,windy or super dry air so she'll be right. Im sure you alrrady know this but just incase you gotta tease those roots when you repot it, not just plonk her in the new pot and put soil around the shape of the old pot. Ps love that lil coleus you got there ;)

first up ur salvia looks sweet as. i dont think it looks too droopy at all as sall d's are tipically droopy. you'll prob find that repotting it will make it less droopy tho. the amount of light is more or less perfect judging by the shape of your leaves and the colour. also, judging by the texture of your leaves, the humidity is perfect too ;) i'd be worried about drying the leaves in the oven at 150C. although the active wont vapourize, the leaves may burn. in saying that, it is possible i guess to deliberately burn the leaves keeping them below 200c-ish to convert the plant fats, cloraphils and other leafy bits to carbon. does that make sense or retarded? prob the later.. lol here is an old report of mine, before salvia divinorum became illegal in australia: i never got much from sally at low doses. had a plant about double the one in the pic up there so i had plenty of leaves to play with. i only ever dried the leaves in the air and that did the trick realy well. smoking the leaves did nothing. i did a bi-polar extract to yeald: 5x 10x 50x 10x gave a lil bit of body feeling, and just starting to feel the sally g's but thats about it. by 50x i got a very real effect. i felt the presence of miss salvia somewere. i was sitting on the couch in i very unconforable position. miss salvia pulled my legs from beneath me and lay them out strait across the table so i was confortable. minimal visuals. crazy body feeling and sall g's. then i extracted about 0.25g of pure needle xtal. i put that in a glas vape and conected that to a bong to smooth it out. when i hit that... well.. ya.. i only saw circular paturns, melted into the couch.. all that fun stuff. had a great time. will visit soon :D by working my way up the doses i got a real connection with this plant. i could never be afraid of the high it gives. she would never harm me oh and some kind of bong device is the only way. i got a $20 light bulb shaped glass vapourizer, put a hose from the glass tube to a tight fitting hole in a coke bottle with water in it. works a friggin treat.

personally i hate humidity domes. i had a heap of cuttings in pots and half coke bottles growing like mad but it takes so long to climatize them and if you dont, they will die. once established, i would lift the half coke bottle about 5mm each fortnight and by the 3nd month they all died. the tips of the leaves turned black, then the whole leaf then the stem then it was dead. the leaves of the growing plants in the humidity dome also lost there satin gloss so personnally i think they are more potent in non super high humid conditions like humidity domes and green houses once they are fully established and visually growing. you can tell if there growing by plucking the tiny new leaves at the very tip of a branch. this well grow back 2 new branchs in its place within a few months or so at least. again, only do this when full established. i usually just wack them in a pot with some good, rich, soaking wet soil and let them do there thing. if your sticking it strate in a pot then i dont think you need those big leaves on them. they dont need alot of light to grow really well, so from my experience those leaves arent needed, or at least not that size, a trim is possible but that may give a larger open wound to loose moisture so i would just take them off. just keep the soil soaked for about a week then water as normal, and keep away from wind and strong direct light. somewere away from the window of the kitchen is perfect direct sunlight is your enemy here. in answer to your question, have you taken it from a humid environment to a dryer one? black dead tips always happen for me after i take it to a dryer environment from a humid one. if it spreads within a week or so you may have to return it to a more humid environment, if it stops spreading, there will be no need to remove it. you may notice that salvia seems to turn black on injured parts of the plant. notice were you removed the large leaves off the main stem? they are black. it wont spread from those areas, it's just what happens. why i'm saying this is if you cut off the black, the edge of the leaf may turn black again and so if you keep cutting off the black there will be nothing left of the leaf! if it's not spreading, you don't need to cut it off basiccally, i think, she'll be right. sorry for goin on like that, bombarding ou with info and shiv

i was growing 3 varieties at one stage. A pink with a white center leaves, green with purple centre leaves, and green with yellow centre leaves. I tried boiling maybe 25ish medium sized leaves (for some reason the ones i grew had leaves no larger then about 3inchs unlike the ones at bunnings) of each variety, cooked it down and held it in my mouth. Nothing happened but i felt well sick. Hahaha smoking the leaf did nothing too. i'd like to try some more complex extracts when i have time but at the moment i only have the green and yellow variety left. In terms of groming them, the yellow one is the strongest and easiest to grow as it takes strong abuse realy well. I cut a few branchs off each vaiety for drying and put the branchs on some shade cloth out of direct sunlight to dry. The two other varieties dried and shriveled quickly within weeks but the yellow variety not only stayed hydrated, but it also became a deeper yellow colour and some parts grew slightly. They stayed like this for over 2months! On the 3rd month they slowly becan to dry. The less light they get the more beautiful the leaves become. In saying this, i'v dever tried growing them in the dark just shady areas or inside. The tends to bleach them a bit in the centers of the leaves so keep them in the shade and once established they love water like a fish.

first up these pics are mainly for show as i personally have not seen anything like them but then again i'm no shroom-spert who looks at these things all the time. so tell me what you guys think be cool to know what they are if you know ^^^^pic 5 & 6 were blue/grey in the centre that got lighter towards the edges. this is different to the next 2 pics wich are light brown to brown in the centre and fade to blue on the edges ^^^^pics 7 & 9 these look cool. notice the brown tip? no blue staining tho otherwise i'd be REAL exited lol ^^^^last is another rubber band penis shroom. i know i have an immature sense of humour at times, but i cant help it if you can help or not doesnt matter to me, just thought i'd show them

any melbourne oyster mushroom growers around? I saw some in a store today and decided i wanted some but the looked a bit old so i was wondering if i could buy any off any melbourne (particularly south eastern) growers to try? The only thing i got to trade atm is some tobacco plants (rustica) and heaps of yohimbe barkbut i'm happy to pay a fair price. Thanks guys!

one more thing, insecticides are desigined NOT to be taken up by the roots of any plant were as herbicides are. i'm sure our fungus friends will take them up even faster. i remember watching that guy who was talking about 6 ways fungus can change the world and said some fungus can convert oil and herbicides into carbs so they can use it but don't take my word for it ;)

as for the herbicides there often more toxic to mammals then the ones used for insects this is bcause some herbicides are just insecicides with a dye and at higher amounts of active ingredient in them then insecticides. most insecticides, particularly the ones that end with "thrin" are based on permethrin and have a tiny ld50. permethrin as a dermal LD50 in rats of over 4000 mg/kg were orally, salt is about 3,000 mg/kg. also, the dye is often added as the concentrate is watered down. i know this cause it's why my boss wont get us into herbicide spraying; it stains the tanks and if th dye gets in the insecticide spray when i'm spraying, i dunno, a house for instance i dont think the customers would be happy with me spraying there house green or pink lol i could talk your ear off if ya want lol

lol i did an acetone extract on nutmeg years ago and mixed the oil with icing sugar to make a sort of "nutmeg fudge" each lil square was equivalant of roughly 4 whole nutmeg with was roughly dose. Problem was onset was real slow and would take roughly 1-2hours to have any noticeable effect and about 4-6hours for full effects. This would last about 4-6hours them slowly drop off. The next day i felt very lazy and lethargic and still a bit high. Total effects is about 48 hours. It feels like being very stoned with an emphisis on feeling lazy and stupid. It's fun once or twice but effects take way too long to fully kick in (up to 8 hours) and feel to lazy to have that much fun. Plus i hear abuse can fuck your liver real quick. Still it was interesting..

ya i found these ones before and got just as exited. After posting them up on here a few weeks ago i was told there not the goods. They had the nipple and everything! But they didn't stain blue and had real slimy caps
