Hey guys, if i was to go hunting for some subbies, could anyone recommend what areas/suburbs would be best to look, i live in the eastern suburbs but im happy to travel! i also attend university in blacktown so anywhere around there is also easily accessible, i havn't had much luck in the city area only ever found some Stropharia aurantiaca, which is apparently a good indicator species but no subs ! any help would be appreciated :D

Hey guys, On the easter weekend i went up to Oberon to the pine plantations for some mushroom picking adventures and camping with the missus ;) i happened to stumble across two, which i believe are australiana's! they were found within the planatations as well as some other mushrooms which i can't identify, i know there not active would just like to know what they are if anyone could shed some light! They were all found within the pine plantation and there hadn't been much if any rain!

Hey guys, my flamingo found these puppies this morning, It has rained the entire day yesterday and during the night. i don't think there subs as havn't noticed any blue bruising and are an orangy colour. They were found amongst wood chips in a park, quite cold weather also. Will conduct a spore print asap, any help would be fantastic :D

Awesome thanks guys, i've been researching subs and just wondering if anyone could help me with a couple questions that cant seem to find answers to. 1) Roughly how much rain and for how long does it need to rain until mushies pop up around the place ? 2) Will i have any luck finding subs in the Sydneys eastern suburbs, if anyone has any spots that they don't use could you please PM me with details?
