    Well, this is not the first time I see the inner, white part of a cactus but I've never seen something so reddish...do you perhaps have more informations about this enzymatic activity?

    The center one in the last photo is the "mother" of the little one in the second photo.....T. scopicula....that sound interesting!What about alkaloid content in T. scopicula? Thank you for your help! Bye, Salah
