    help with transplanting iboga

Thats my problem though, i currently have 8 in the same pot now most of them at the second leaf, with roots comming out of the bottom of the pot. I think it will be pretty much impossible for me to transplant them without disturbing the roots
  5. I highly doubt that shamans in nepal would be using a plant that grows on some islands in the pacific

    help with transplanting iboga

I currently have 7 iboga seedlings, 6 of them are at the stage where they have their first set of real leaves, and the last one is just popping up. How sensitive is iboga to transplanting? They are all in the same pot with a couple roots poking out of the bottom so im sure their roots are somewhat tangled. Should I transplant now or wait till they have a few more sets of leaves? And does anyone have any advice with hardening them off to a drier climate? Thanks!

    Banisteriopsis has stalled

A light frost probably wont kill an established vine, it might kill a young one though.

    Banisteriopsis has stalled

You should add some perlite or crushed pine bark to your soil they like soil that drains very well.

    Banisteriopsis has stalled

It could be a couple things; you might be watering too much, or your soil doesnt drain well enough. Has it been exposed to cold? They seem to go dormant when the temps drop too much. Also mine seems to like a lot of light, maybe yours is growing in too much shade?

just got my iboga seed pod

I didnt check my mail till in the evening and noticed my iboga seeds came. The package felt pretty cold but not freezing. I think the seeds will be ok. Anyways I was happy to see the seed pod was completely rotted away and the seeds were plump and two even had little roots sticking out. I potted the majority of them in the peat they were in and the rest threw in some extra potting soil I had. I have the pots in a large plastic container sitting a little bit off to the side of an hps for warmth. OK now a question seeing as how I turn the light off at night for the other plants, will the seeds be warm enough on their own, or should I put a heat lamp over them at night while the light is off? Thanks!
