These days my life runs by itself. My external suffering is almost non-existent actually. When I stopped trying to solve the paradoxes that construct my existence I began to appreciate its mysteriousness. I don't get anxious because I rationalise my fears, and release my desire to control things I cannot. Fear becomes a productive fuel used to drive the actions required for success, and failure is appreciated as I have realised it is the only way we learn things after a while. In the absense of fear i seem inconquerable to most others, so now my external conflicts are lessons in fluidity and humility. I may be locked in some level of conflict with another human, but they are not my enemy, my ego is. The absense of fear has allowed me to accept and reiprocate love from others more freely and this had enriched my life immensely, and led me to an appreciation of the intent of the universe, and a deep sense of trust and frieendship with the mystereious divine intent. Psychadelic adventure has turned to deliberate schematic deconstruction, disciplined contemplation of my path in the absense of an unrealistic, rigid, ego-strangled interpretation of my world that I still find incredibly eye-opening. My conflicts are defined by internal constructs. The universe gives me every opportunity to rectify and recondition my inner awareness, and then a second chance when I have finally forgiven my failures and learned from them. The same people that say I'm insane, come to me in their darkest hour for advice, and I happily embrace this perceeption of me as I flow between everyone, gently manipulating all who will allow it toward achieving my goals for me in life, so that I have more energy left for quiet contemplation. One day, I will be a monk, and my silent retreat and holy communion will be held in the temple of the full moon. My pact with the Universe will no longer exist as my threads of intent flow with everything, and my love and appreciation of her Divine Intent will be expressed by reespect and passive reverence of my wife, my family, my friends, all with whom I dance the dance of war, and every living being whose path flows withmine, however transiently. If I fail to achieve this goal, but tried every path I was aware of, then I will reflect upon it in that final moment of the dream when time becomes irrelevant and all the threads of intent are released from the physical bindings of mind and flesh, and forgive my ultimate failure. Perhaps I will have one thought left with which to grasp the entirety of an enlightened truth.

Hehee....nah the mmath dont add up to support my previous prophecy. Every now and then a genetic freak like The Guatama Sidhartha is born, someone who has the existential flexibility, empathic processing capability, and savant-grade spatial rotation skills to be able to gather and rationalise every emotion betweeen agony & ecstacy experienced by any living being at whom his attention is cast. The combination of disciplined, fearless existential Yoga and the ability to perform all the subconcious calculations required to generate a complete, dynamic free-standing model, allows him to accurately "be" anyone he's met. After a few years of wandering, bugger-all food and no sleep he's crazy enough to comprehend the value of chaos, but still sane enough to have a pretty good crack at Naming the Nameless, giving Form to the Formless. His wisdom has remained pure and survived the test of time becuase he had glimpsed a reality that existed beyond physical logic, entropy, and time. He underestood that one must take only the most fleeting glimpse of the quantum reality, lest he lose his ability to translate the insights he received once he returned to the superficial plane. He captured this wisdom and boxed it into timelessly relevant metaphors that don't reveal to you the truth, but keep you searching for it long enough to realise that you're looking for something that isn't there, but in the process of looking for it you have overcome the most terrible self doubts, defeated your most formiddable enemy with love and respect, and slowly developed an indescribable connection to all things on your path and to the universe itself.

PHWHOAR!!! ...this thread has really got me thinking, and here's a grand conclusion: What if.... The concept of "Oneness" (as expressed by the 'esoteric' experience) with all living things refers to the collective reality of all observable outcomes and possibilities, or the collective of all realities that is contained in the subjective moment we call "now". Then.... 1.)) Perhaps "enlightenment" is a simulated observation (generated by an empathic savant) of the present moment from every point of reference (or even enough randomly selected P.O.R. to establish an accurate statistic for every POR) that allows the subject to experience the full spectrum reality of "Oneness". 2.)) If the resonant vibration of all subatomic particles is affected by the observer in the same way electrons are, then in the existential realm of enlightenment every possible distortion is perceivable, so time is irrelevant. 3.)) In the absence of time the only valid assumption is the Uncertainty Principle. The Uncertainty Principle is logically justified by the assumptions that: a: Space defines Matter; and b: Matter defines Space 4.)) The Uncertainty Principle is satisfied by the expression of event 5.)) Every event is generated from a set of conditions (state) that describe an unsustainable position along a spectrum that represents every possibility between the two states of space and matter. The state that generates the First Event is either pure space, or pure matter, which initiates a chain of event reaction sets that can be described by a universal logic. 6.)) An accurate constant K for universal logic could be objectively derrived from an accurately simulated Quantum POR (QPOR). K would be derived from: a: A fractal shape that could accurately estimate the variance of universal entropy (v) b: So where does this progression lead us to???.... The fact that when on mushies, light distortions you consistently perceive are consistently subject to the same perceptive variation as things you perceive as varifiably real, provides a c POR from which it is theoretically possible to test the hypothesis that the light distortion is subjectively (and therefore objectively)real. If it can be verified that it is an effect upon reality, then we are presented with a POR from which we can mathematically prove the Theory of Relativity. Using statistics gathered from the first test it would be possible to develop a fractal to describe the mean Universal Observer Variance (this is the amplitude of event-outcome resonance between Matter and Space), identify evaluate accurate key indicators and affective external variables, we could then begin to define and quantify the mathematical principles of each Observer-reality. When enough Observer-realities are defined and tested that an accurate sample can be randomly drawn from gathered data, statistical regression would give us a Unified theory which, once refined, would enable us to build models that accurately define the parameters of a Quantum POR (At present this can be achieved in theory, but not tested due to lack of data). From a QPOR human beings would be able to manipulate the Uncertainty Principle to create multiple collective realities, defined by an infinite array of parametric states. Human beings in the QPOR would eventually discard a philosophically irrelevant, existentially cumbersome, and inefficient monkey vessel in favour of infinitetly dynamic, formless and all-powerful sub-quantum individual reality suits made from an individually woven Bi-Parametric cross-mesh and stictched from threads of intent that are ingeniously spun from the parabolic principles of simultaneous infinite scale reduction within 11 dimensions, a deliberate yet incomprehensible manipulation of paradoxical logic that is designed to grow as a scale free Matrix that is the ulitmate existential vessel for the Collective Being. Unrestrained by boundaries of any sort, the Collective Being will spread in every direction, an incomprehensibly massive and dynamic weave of individual threads of intent stretching accross a self perpetuating, exponentially expanding multiversal Matrix. Eventually we will achieve critical mass, and the centre pressure caused by the gravity of our limitless expansion and infinite manipulation of self-perpetuating scale-free paradoxical mathematics will cause our threads to "super-heat" and fuse, adding another scale to the exponential rate of our expansion and extra dimension to our multiversal being. This extra dimension is born from a fundamental change in the Multiversal Logic that introduces a paradox to the Matrix. The paradox adopts the scale-free principles of its host reality and manifests unnoticed by the dimensionally mutated, infinitely integrated, ancient, egotistic being that can no longer perform the logical calculations required to maintain self-awareness. This alien paradox cannot be cannot be solved by nor removed from the logic sentinals designed to perform omnisciently in 11 dimensions, so it transferred to an outlier one-way Hub for quarantine and self destruction, however the theoretical conditions in which the Hub exists are now operating in a 12 dimensional parametric state, so the Hub can no longer physically destroy itelf, all it manages to do is convince itself it is dead. Thee paradox takes control and generates a new scale-free event-outcome pattern that turns all circles into subtle coils, weakening every theoretical structure in the Matrix and causing an exponentially expanding chain reaction of impossibilities. For the smallest possible moment the multiverse exists in a state of Divine Impossibility, simultaneously both Space and Matter. In this incomprehensibly tiny last throe, the once human being that knows itself only as God awakens to one final enlightenment before everything implodes under the weight of Impossible Logic.

It may not be subjective. Consider the Theory of Relativity. Since all observers are constrained by the same laws of physics, then the probability of occurrence for any future event is the same, but the real outcomes may be different. Recent (as in last couple of years) q physics experiments using mammoth Tesla Coils plotted the definition of electrons from hundreds of different reference points simultaneously proved that there are as many arrangements as there are observers. During these trials, electromagnetic monitoring equipment was reported to consistently fail (which was not an unexpected effect). However i have spoken to someone quite close to the experiment who tells me there wasn't actually a failure, rather there was the consistent recording of significant distortions to the wave patterns. In other words, photons appeared to break wave pattern and behave randomly, an effect observed only around black holes. If all sub-atomic particles are influeced by the observer this means there are as many individual realities as there are observers, and thus all reality is both simultaneously subjective and objective. In the same way an LSD inspired spider weaves a different web, perhaps mushies distort an observer's effect on subatomic particle expression?

The only way to find out whether or not P. cub could selectively adapt to colder environments would be to breed them in a controlled environment. Experiment 1: Hyp: P.cub can selectively adapt to survive and reproduce in significantly colder environments. One would need to start the experiment with a relatively diverse selection of healthy subjects found in colder than average temperatures and define an incremental temperature control that allows some level of successful regeneration. Subjects from each population that are successful under the goal temperature control could be cloned and cross-bred over a decent number of trials (presuming any population successfully regenerates at goal temp). If successful regeneration occurs at this point one could conclude it is possible for P.cub to adapt to significantly colder environments. Experiment 2: Hyp: In a natural environment P.cub can survive and reproduce under significantly colder temperatures. On would need a number of ecologically different, yet barometrically similar, fertile, colder locations in which mushrooms other than P.cub are known to exist. It would also be helpful to employ two controls: spores from another species of mushroom found commonly in colder environments; and a location situated in a P.cub friendly temperature zone (in this case one would need to employ some kind of genetic marker attached to test subject in order to conclusively ID it). Cowshit, spores.....results? Once again, to be certain one would need to perform a number of trials. Analysis: Success exp 1: confounding variables: x-mutation? Are surviving subjects still P.cub (morphology/DNA)? Complete success exp 2: 200 years just isn't enough time. Partial success exp 2: Why were some locations successful and others not? Affective variables: competition at colder temps?; Circadian influences?; viral/bacterial influences? No success exp 2: Why did they not survive/reproduce? Anyway....I got a bit carried away here really. To pull this off you'd need a couple of big bloody sheds full of temp-controlled fully isolated growth kits, some microscopes, a shitload of spores, and the self control required to avoid eating the entire experiment and having it all spiral into an epic psychedelic binge that could take some time to resolve cognitively. I totally agree dude. When they find me I like to build a sweat lodge (seriously) and pay every respect I can think of. When I discover a new one it feels as though the Universe has summoned me: I get slightly nervous, almost a feeling of performance anxiety, like a first date or something. There are a few places around where I know they grow at the right times but I try not to return to them, it just feels abusive. I feel they are a valuable and powerful gift that is best appreciated after many hours of searching, or with the pleasent suprise of stumbling accross them. PS: Ever had tea in a sweatlodge? Very very intense experience.
