    hydro vs bush-buds

I have read the following. "Northern lights: Is a stablised Cannabis sativa crossed cannabis Afghani hybrid variety developed in the late 70's Seattle, Washington." "NL#5 - Mostly Indica - the result of over 20 years of selected breeding. Bred for vigorous growth, high yeild and superb high." "NL#5 is NL with another plant crossbred. Part indica, part Sativa" Quoted - New World Strains - StrainBase. Though I have also read reports of NL#5 as being pure indica - so you tell me??? On the other hand I have always been a big fan of NLxShiva - great smoke - mostly indica. And in regard to the hyge V bush - I have lost some respect re: hydro grows - not to completly disregard it at all, but after all soil is always natures way. Whatever takes your fancy is fine with me. Just my 2c, peace. [ 04. July 2003, 17:25: Message edited by: Lounge Act ]

    Fox traps

We have had a trap for many years on loan from NPWS, and have had more succes catching the nextdoor neighbours dog than the bloody foxes. In the end we regrettably just gave up, the thing weighs a bloody tone anyway. I think you best bet would be to get in contact with your local NPWS org they should be able to hook you up or atleast point you in the right direction. Better chances with someone on the inside of course. Just my my 2c, peace.

    Salvia in the garden

My garden contains a few varieties of Salvia. I have: S. involucarta (Karwinski) S. spp Indigo Blue S. (Purple majesty) S. greggii (Coral) - ? Botanical info: "Salvia greggii (Coral)" This shrub, which reaches 45 cm in height, is native to Texas & Mexico and is a long-flowering addition to dry soil gardens in California and south-western USA. The leaves are small and aromatic; above the foliage rise slender stems with broad-lipped sage blossoms in red, orange, salmon, pink, pale yellow, white and blends. The flowers are produced from spring through autumn in coastal areas, and in autumn and winter in the desert. The only Salvia in my garden I have read to contain special properties is Salvia gregii, But even then it was only mentioned on SAB - no study has been done that I'm aware of. Is this correct? can someone please shed some light on this for me? As usualy the only information I can find in abundance is for Sally d. And in not interested in that sp. cheers. [ 19.
