It's hard to tell, though i couldn't make out any volva like structure from the base - typ of Amanita sp, but this could be from stems not being removed completely from the ground.

Didn't manage to catch the news segment about it, but have heard a few wispers about it recently.

I'm not sure weather 24/h is too much exposure or not? maybe someone else can answer that? although, Stamets recommends either diffused or natural light for both primordia formation and fruiting. and suggests around 12-16/h/day. hope that helps.

Hi, In the SAB seed-product page it mentions A. floribunda is a close relative of A. maidenii, A. obtusifolia and A. phlebophylla...although no alkaloid analysis had been done, is this still the case? [ 06. March 2004, 18:04: Message edited by: Bolwarra ]

Anyone wish to comment on how the launch went.... seems like it would have been an entertaining event.

I thought bleach was Peroxide? And that a 3% solution (as electro said) would be enough to kill mold spores in a substrate? But wouldn't effect already established contams.

Hi, I'm sure you're all aware of the European bay leaves (Laurus nobilis)? but how about C. tamala? I heard it's the source of Indian bay leaves and has an entirely different flavour. If anybody had spare seed I would love to purchase or trade. let me know. [ 23. February 2004, 23:48: Message edited by: Bolwarra ]

Davidsonia pruriens - Davidsons Plum
Bolwarra replied to Bolwarra's topic in Australian Native Plants
theobromos: For sure, since fruit develops along the trunk the hairs shouldn't be to much of a problem when collecting fruit. planthelper: That would be the QLD var wouldn't it? I'd sure love to trade some seed for that, good luck on the hunt. Can be quite sour raw, so most sources point to Jam... or wine never tried Plum Wine though. -

Hi ED, the QLD variety Davidsonia pruriens var. pruriens grows naturally in Far North QLD and I believe it can be grown successfully in NSW as well as even further south i.e Vic I have the seed of the NSW variety only, I would assume this could be grown south of NSW without a prob though Im not positive. -
Mesqualero gave some good advice... all-though, I believe spores in dry matter might still be re-hydrated successfully, should help them germinate.

Good to hear, hope all goes well.

Hi ray, great gfx skills...I love it. I won't be attending BDO this year, it was a difficult tossup between that and Metallica. Sure Metallica is going to BDO anyway though a 45min set hardly compares to a concert of their own...well i think so anyway. Keep it up.
