    Sealing cut tips

i just leave the orange stuff alone and soon enough it will harden up. it might turn all manner of colours but so long as it's not gooey black just leave it alone. obviously make sure it is somewhere dry and has a bit of light. we are just coming out of winter so it shouldn't take long to callous over. during winter cuts are more susceptible to that orange stuff. i think rubbing alcohol is for putting on your knife when you are making the cutting. that way you are making a clean cut that won't get infected.

    subs and strange bodily symptoms

i would not say that 2g dried is a low dose! i would expect all manner of bizarre symptoms and occurences at 2gs. yep thats what happens when you eat mushrooms. if you feel like fainting or your eyes are struggling it generally means that it's time to lay down, close your eyes and surrender to the visions. it's not uncommon to feel freezing. i used to think it was because subs love cold weather and they pass it on somehow. however the effect occurs on cubes as well. i think it's just another ploy of theirs to get you to lay down, curl up and pay attention....

    fresh young iboga root

i'm sure there would be some sort of effect. i have read that its threshhold effects are quite enjoyable. best to do some research and if it's not dangerous to do so, and if it's legal wherever you are i'd say give it a shot. otherwise it will only go to waste right? good luck.

    old print viability

i am honestly not really sure about the answer for this but seeing as we are in winter that may have something to do with it? also...if this 'agaricus' you speak of is a woodlover you will need to make a broth using woodchips for a liquid culture. sorry if this doesn't help at all.

    anyone near sydney domestic airport?

you'll be able to find parks nearby. maybe a suburb away....e.g kensington. then get a $15 cab from there. do a google maps search. plenty of non timed parking areas around. if you are comfortable with parking it on the street it should be okay for a couple of days. i was in sydney 4 years and never had a problem leaving my car out on the street. good luck anyway.

    Operating a Merkaba

ha. yes he was a tool fan. not so much now but dug them in highschool. honestly though he read the Frissel book unaware that it contained information on Merkabas. Until he read the book he actually had no idea what a Merkaba was. He had heard the track before and it is quite a psychedelic journey in itself. interesting info regarding light deprivation and the pineal gland. always wanted to try something like that but never had a spare ten days with which to do it. so what came along and burst your bubble regarding believing in this stuff? ever tried similar methods to those listed above? my friend may try for a repeat of the experiment sometime this weekend. will let everyone know how it goes.

    music to quiet the mind

thanks man this stuff is right up my alley. for some really interesting music for journeys and chilling i can't recommend this album highly enough: http://psychedelicobscurities.blogspot.com/2010/03/steve-hillage-1979-rainbow-dome-musick.html'>http://psychedelicobscurities.blogspot.com/2010/03/steve-hillage-1979-rainbow-dome-musick.html you can download it by following the link in the comments. great sounds. for chilled yet hypnotic, trance inducing stuff (and i mean the real deal analouge synth sequencing from the early 70s) you cannot and will not get past Terry Riley's 'A Rainbow in Curved Air' all of his other albums are worthwhile too. http://psychedelicobscurities.blogspot.com/search/label/Terry%20Riley'>http://psychedelicobscurities.blogspot.com/search/label/Terry%20Riley this page contains many obscure albums. many ambient and chilled masterpieces here as well as classic psyche rock. http://psychedelicobscurities.blogspot.com/ this one is pretty much the shit when it comes to awesome 70s new-age/ synth / classic ambient stuff. the artwork is often awesome and the music will open up many new worlds!!! http://crystalvibrations.blogspot.com/

    Operating a Merkaba

cool story The Deb. sounds like your friend was certainly tapping into some vibes... although maybe you were tapping into some of his as well. next time a similar thing happens see if you can push it a little further. hutch i'm working on trying to replicate the experience...just awaiting my nuts to inflate again. i guess for me that would be the ultimate way to verify that i was not just playing broom brooms. and in theory if i can replicate it others should be able to as well. seeing as i was only doing some meditations from a book (admittedly combined with some varieties rocket fuel) anyone should be able to give it a shot. i'll let you know if i can't find a companion. yeah there would. but maybe the sound has to be made before the intention or thought can recognise that an intention has been made.... does that make sense?...e.g if we think about making a sound what the big deal unless there is actually a sound made? how can one verify that an intention has been made if there is no result from the intention? is it? i'll have to look into it more but i'm assuming you pollute your chakras the same way you pollute your body e.g shit food, shit habits, alcohol, smoke etc. but they are also susceptible to etheric pollution, negative thoughts, unintegrated experiences or repressed memories, psychic garbage etc . yoga, meditation etc clear the chakras. a fart may often occur without intention. i'm not sure why it would have to sustain one long intention? your mind can wander as your body operates. if i'm understanding your question? the whole point of the circular breathing would be to allow the mind to wander using the drone of the didgeridoo as a trance inducing tone as well as a vibrational vehicle without having to focus on breathing or stop for breath (which would break the trance). possibly but i've experienced regression to childhood several times before and it was not similar to this in any way. i've had repressed memories relived and gone back to womb consciousness and a lot of the other jazz thats possible and i know what you are getting at but i guess you had to be there.

    Cactus grow log V1

good stuff chiral. great to see the updates. reckon you would feel like posting the lengths of each of them too? would be interested to see. i think you've done a good service to everyone by starting this thread. it should serve to be useful for people trying to ID different strains. I don't know of anywhere else on the internet where you can find this many photos of the different types of Australian bridgies. also we can safely say that Yowie could be the most vigourous growing of them. as for the other shit.....i'd pay forty bucks for a cut for sure. and i wouldn't really bitch because some of those varieties are hard to come by and go for a dollar per cm easily most of the time. and these cuts are in good healthy condition. postage is always going to be $8-10 so i think it works out totally fair and reasonable. maybe CT wasn't thinking of the $10 postage that would have to be tacked onto the price. classic phrase.

    Operating a Merkaba

good question. i honestly have no idea. they could very well be the same thing. though i haven't had much experience with astral projection....nor much experience with a merkaba for that matter. could be different methods to achieve the same thing. or the merkabah may be able to take you places astral projection cannot or vice versa.

    Please Find the Time

sounds good. never underestimate the power of your thoughts. when you send them out into the universe they become things. sometimes it's enough to pray and hope the thoughts get where they need to go but it's always better if you have some sort of ceremony or meditation to guide the thoughts where they need to be. i'll be doing the same for your friend. god bless.

    Operating a Merkaba

well i guess first was doing some breathing techniques and preparing mentally...it was the sound that operated the merkaba and gave it power. but i'm sure you could just start with sound...after all it incorporates breathing techniques with it. there was a distinct feeling that it all starts with language or sound rather 'in the beginning was the word' etc. mckenna has a similar view believing that reality is made of language. the whole 'om' thing as well...that primordial tone and sound of creation.... without langauge to name things and seperate them it would all be one. without the name for 'table', 'chair', 'carpet' it would all be one. ha...yeah i've been on the lookout for a persian rug. we've got polished floor boards and a rug is definitely needed.

    Are you a believer?

Cool post Psiloman. I guess what I meant was 'if we see something profound and spiritual on these substances can we really give the old 'it's just a drug. it's just in your mind' stance if it's actually a bit more than that. sure insulin shock therapy is no good for us. but in the psychedelics we have found natural plants that seem to reveal previously unknown layers of the mind and the universe and also seem to do little (if any) physical damage. sure 'natural' doesn't mean better or safer. just look at belladonna compared to LSD. but don't you think the fact that some of these substances are so easily found in nature and ourselves that it lends to the idea that we were supposed to find them, work with them and learn from them? also Strassman's experiments whilst being important and groundbreaking etc aren't the best to way to judge long term effects of DMT. Keep in mind he just gave them dmt in a hospital, recorded their experiences and sent them on their way. hardly a method whereby you could accurately judge the potential for positive effects of DMT. now if he were working in nature, accompanying the doses with teachings of meditation or yoga or taking the doses within some sort of spiritual framework more akin to the work that Stanislav Grof performs we might see a different picture. not one bit. real life wars get fought over this sort of shit though. peace!
