One source I've read says that some shamans ate the "roasted center" of M. craigii and then fell into a deep sleep full of colorful visions.... Can anybody confirm this? Are there any reports of people ingesting "peyotes" or "false peyotes" other than Lophophora?

Hi, everybody, my name is Teotz....maybe you've heard of me? This is my first post here... I've got a bit of a problem... Why is my cactus discolored? I thought it might be to much light... Can anybody help me? Thanks- Teotz (*Edit*- This was my VERY FIRST post made at the Corroboree! It was made in Oct. 2007!!!)

Update- It seems the tip HAD to grow through this "blackness"... I cut it 3 times, each time it came back... the last time I just let it grow... and it just grew right through it! The "black spots" can still be seen on the sides...

All I want is for the drama to stop. Most of them are cut off because I like to multiply my cacti and root tips... And sometimes I eat them. Only the T. brigesii and T. peruvianus were cut due to problems.
-
Here's what my T. peruvianus should look like- Hope y'all enjoy the pics... -Teotz P.S.- Can everybody stop being so sarcastic, my goal here is to not foster any drama....

Well I cut it off, this guy from another site told me too...he said it would speard, so I didn't risk it... Here's some pics of my set-up ~ I got 3 wooden sticks holding up 3 really shitty lights between a washing-machine and a window, pretty nice huh? Here's my T. Bridgessi monstrose And here's a pup off that cactus grafted to a Trichocereus root-stock-

Ya Mr.Smith always has nice cacti I like mine too, but I've had tons of problems... First I had to take off the tip... Then the pup got the same sort of aliment... I'm rather pissed... I hope I can save it... I'd love to see pics of other people's T.peruvianus if anyone has any. -
Ya thanks for bringing that up. Can anybody help me with the cactus. Thanks E.G. -Teotz'

You guys can't just order them off vendors? There's a ton in the states and I know of one in Holland.
